MFS answered Thursday August 12 2004, 3:28 pm: HTML color codes are not saturation and hue... it is RGB. They are hex codes, being from 00 to FF. so 000000 is white (no color) and FFFFFF is black (all color). The number, in hexadecimal, is the level of each of the three colors.
There are a lot of web pages that not only list "safe" html color codes, but display them for you, too. Just search on "html color hex codes". I believe someone else has already listed one such site for you in their reply. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
