My dog is a mixed breed. He's rather tiny.. I'm just wondering how long do those kind of dogs last? He's healthy but I'm kind of worried that I'll lose him. He's 7 years old and apparently is having some hearing problems?

im pretty sure your dog will be fine, at least for a while. smaller dogs can live longer than others, and since you said other than his hearing problem he's healthy, so he'll be ok. hope i helped! ♥

I have a huuuuge biology test on monday, and im so nervous. It's just so confusing. Im studying so hard but i just know im gunna fail. I have a C- average, so i HAVE to do well. Plus my gramma just died, so thats just another distraction. Im so nervous i feel like im gunna be sick. How can I calm down? What are some good study tips? Pleaseeeee help!

if you are really distracted, you could talk to your teacher on monday about how your grandma died, because lots of teachers will give you extra time when something like that happens. but, just to make sure, you should keep on studying.
to helpyou calm down just lie down for a while and listen to relaxing music like jazz or classical. also, if im really stressed watching a funny tv show/movie helps me.
when your calm, start studying again. a lot of people use the im hungry excuse to distract them, so keep some nutritious food close so you don't go getting up and looking around for food. tell everyone else in the house your studying so they leave you alone.

I love my mom and all but she really bothers me. I am 13 and I`m kind of mature for my age. My mom said I could get my belly button peirced a yeah ago and she said yeah after I turned 13 and now shes saying no. I turned 13 April 25th and its so unfair I`m getting to really hate her so now she asked " What do you want for Christmas?" and I said. " A new cell phone and a my belly button peirced" and she goes "Your not getting neither your phone is fine."
My phone is a peice of sh1t and falls apart like 5 times a day. And I really want my belly button peirced and she said yeah last year so it`s completely unfair. My little brother gets everything he wants its unfair to me.
How can I convince her to let me get my belly button peirced? And how can I explain that she is unfair to me?

try to compromise. ask just for one of those, which is prolly the cell phone. your really too young for a belly button ring, no matter how "mature" you think you are. even if you are, which you dont sound like you are (mature people wouldn't whine about there brother all the time), your body isn't done growing, and then your piercing will pop out and leave a scar.

on the other hand, it sounds like you DO need a new phone. what brand is it? a good brand i can think of is samsung, but thats just because thats my brand. also, if youre looking for a bar phone (a NOT flip phone) then nokia is good. explain to your mom how bad your old phone is. also, you could tell her that you know you won't be getting much more, because a cell phone is a pretty big present. or, you could offer to help pay for it. hope i helped! ♥

OK, the story goes like this. I go out with my ex-girlfriend and she says she won't ever leave me, and BANG. A week later she leaves me(she's f/17). I tried to call her...a lot for two weeks. I then decide not to contact her anymore but it's been two months and i'm still not over her. Must i contact her or must i just accept that she will never come back?

you need to move on! if you didn't do anything, and she still just did this, then she just stopped having feelings for you. i know that kinda sucks but the sooner you try to move on, the sooner you will get over her, and you can live your life again. hope i helped! ♥

Hey,
I'm 16 and I want to try contact lenses. My optician says it's all OK. I was just wondering if anyone had any really good/bad experiences with contact lenses they could tell me about, or if there are tips any of you might have? Are they really weird to get used to? I have a real thing about touching my eyes, I don't like it at all. Will I find this really difficult? What happens if you can't get it out?

i've had contacts for 2 years ive had them since i was 11. it was pretty weird at first to touch my eyes, but i got used to it.
its not that hard to put them in once you get used to it. when i first got mine the doctor spent 1/2 an hour showing me how to put them in, and that helped a lot. most places do this for free but if you have to pay, you could just have a friend whos been wearing contacts for a while show you.
you'll be able to get it out. at that little help session, they showed me how to get the contact out too. all you do is slide it to the side of your eye, and then pull it out. it also, even if people say it can, can NOT get stuck behind your eye. it can get stuck, but it happens very rarely.
i have tips:
1) If possible, get Daily contacts. They hurt a lot less, and if you lose/break one, its not as bad because it was only for that day.
2) If your perscriptions for your eyes aren't exactly the same, but they are only like .25 apart, just get the smallest. for instance, if you have 3.00, and 3.25, just get 3.00 for both eyes, because that will make it easier to remember which one goes in which eye.

whatever you get him (as long as its reasonably normal) i'm sure he'll love it. here;s a few ideas:

~Take him out to a movie, your treat
~Cook him dinner
~a cute picture frame with a pic of you two together
~a cd/dvd that he's been wanting

alright, so me and two of my friends have this problem, and we've all decided that I should ask here for advice...

The whole story is pretty long, but I'll tell the shortish version. All names have been changed.

I like this guy named Bob. I found out a few nights ago that my friend Pat likes Bob, too. And then I found out that my friend Dory likes him too (me and Pat and Dory are basically best friends). I talked to Bob about the whole situation, since we're friends. And, I found out that he sort of likes Pat. I talked to Pat about the whole thing, and she said that she's not sure if she would go out with him, because she would feel guilty, and the rest of us, me and Dory, would feel sad and/or pissed off at her, and I said that I would feel the same if I was in that sitation. Also, Bob said that he doesn't want to hurt anyone.

So... what should we do? In short, me and two of my friend like the same guy, and he kinda likes one of us.

Sorry if this is really confusing...

you and pat and dory should all talk about this together. if pat really wants to go out with bob, then you should talk about it. if its ok with you and dory, then pat should go out with bob. it might hurt you and dory for a while, but if you feel right now that you really won't be able to stand it then tell pat. im sure she'll understand. but if you don't want to ruin pat and bobs relationship, they probably won't be going out forever anyway, so it'll be ok.

i think that you probably should try to move on. your guys's relationship would be really hard, especially if you can never see him, or actually go "out" on dates. it'll probably be kinda hard to move on at first, especially since you have feelings for him still.but you should try and take your mind off it, and focus on other things like friends and stuff, and it'll get easier.
i know its hard to move on, here's two possible things to look forward to in the future:
1) You'll meet another really great guy in wherever you are at the time,

2) It'll end up working out for you and this guy

Hello, I am finishing a project for art due tomorrow. It is a hallway in perspective. The walls, celing, and floor are a checker red and black pattern. I outlined the checker lines in red. Now to my question. The problem is about one of the stair cases. At first I intended to make it look like the stairs stop short in thin air. Now it almost looks like it meets the floor. I'm fine with that. I asked my dad to take a look at it. He said it looked good but said if I wanted to make it look completely meeting the ground I should draw a line coming from the stairs meeting the wall. Should I do this to make it look like I'm purposely meeting the floor or should I keep it partially floating? The point of this project is to make it like an odd dream with mazes and stuff so it would be fine if I left stuff in mid-air.

i think you should leave it in mid-air. if you think about it from a standpoint of actually having an odd dream, you would definitely think it was weirder to have floating stairs as opposed to regular ones. lol hope i helped! ♥

ok long distance relationships are hard so you're gonna really need to be able to trust him, and he's gonna need to trust you. also, you should know if he's gonna be able to visit anytime, or you can visit him, b.c. in a relationship you should be able to see your person sometime.
if you've decided that you guys can trust each other, then the best way to tell him is over the phone. since you can't do it in oerson, hearing his voice will make it extra-special. hope everything works out for you guys! ♥

For some odd reason I am sometimes not physically attracted to my boyfriend ive had this problem before but is this normal? its this girl and she really wants to take an acting class over the summer and be an actress, but her mom makes her work at burger king instead b.c. she doesnt want her daughter to be an actress...then this girl knocks herself out with a spatula (lol) and has this dream where shes an actress, but it takes forever to shoot one scene, and she doesn't like the whole papparazzi thing, and then she wakes up and was like O my gosh im so glad im not an actress...
