I went to my gyno a week or two ago becuase i have had irregular periods for about 5 years so she decided the best thing to regulate my periods and help with my acne, was to put me on the pill..so today i started my period which means tomorrow (since its sunday) will be my first day to take the pill..anyway my question is...i have heard from many people that the pill since it deals with your hormones and such it causes you to gain weight..i am very self contious and a little heavier than i would like to be as it is now..so will it cause me to gain inevitable weight??????? please does anyone know????

It's different for everyone. I know some of my friends are on the pill, some gain weight and some don't. If it's not working out for you, you could ask the doctor to get you something else. Or, you could just not talk the sugar pills that come with the pill. The sugar pills are the ones that make you gain weight.

well u guys probably read about my promblems about my friend and how he held my hand and stuff but i don't know if hes serious ...well i'm kinda getin annoyed by him now hes always right there! lunch, outside of school every where! .today i went to tylers house hes my best friend and i was hanging out with all the guys and playin poker and x box with all the guys i was having fun then he shows up ! and i mean i got kinda mad cuz he was there and i think he noticed i was mad but he didn't know why .well he huged me like 3 times but for some reason i felt something ...hes the one that came up to me to give me a hug ... but as much as annoyed i was when he huged me i felt something like i could be in his arms for ever and never let go ???? .i havn't asked yet if he likes me ...cuz i'm scared now and i kinda get annoyed but i felt something with that hug what should i do now !!!!

It sounds like you like this guy a lot actually. I think you should consider asking him to the movies or to hangout with you. He probably likes you too, since he's always following you and hugging you. I'd go for it. Seems like both you and him would work out great!

sry its long - i need lots of help! my b/f broke up wit me in Sep. and we would still flirt but he would totally lead me on - i got hurt and he didnt leave me any messages like "feel better" he just said "whats wrong with you" i didnt really appreciate it =( then tonite i got to go out and he was there and he didnt talk to me once! then online he acted like nothin happened! he was flrtin with me and instead of the usual "love you" he just said "later" he leads me on and all i wanna do is get over him but he is in my classes and i would get jealous if a girl was even just talking . what should i do??!?!?

Believe me hun, you can do so much better then this guy. He seems like a total player and that's just wrong. No girl should be hurt because of some guy, your not worth the pain. It might be hard getting over him, but everytime you find yourself thinking about him, think of everything bad he did to you. Don't worry. Your guy will come around and he'll be special. I started going out with this guy a couple of weeks ago. But he doesn't go to my school, and we hardly see each other b/c we're both 15 and neither of us get our liscence till April. My parents never drive me anywhere, the only time I really get to see him is at church. And thats not much fun. I mean we can't talk much. I kind of want to break up b/c its stressing me out thinking "how am I going to get to see him"...what should I do? Thanks...

If you want to break up with him, break up with him. I can tell that this is stressing you out a lot. I know if I were you, I'd be totally stressed. Break up with him and tell him things aren't really working because you guys never see eachother. Then maybe once you guys get your liscence you could get back with him and everything could work out!

Ok im a 14 year old girl that needs help! i cant wear tampons. ever time i try to put one in it doesnt go in all the way or it hurts. I've tried many times and its just not happening. THis is the problem. Spring break is coming up and im going to florida with a bunch of ppl, Just my luck its the same week as my period. Your probably putting them in wrong, because it's not suppose to hurt. Try reading the box, they always tell you what to do. You could also try putting the tampons in different angles, you'll get it!

The girls that are saying your stuck up are probably just jealous of you. You can wear whatever clothes you want, as well as hanging out with whom ever you want. They have no say what so ever as to who you can hangout with and what you have to wear. Don't listen to them at all. Soon people will start seeing that you don't care what other people think and you aren't stuck up. Don't like them girls get to you. Because if they see they are getting to you, they'll keep calling you down.

So first of all, im 14/f and im also bi-. A couple days ago, my girlfriend broke up with me. 0- heart break in less than 5 days. My friend, let's call her Kristin, she also dated my ex g/f who we'll call Gabby. So to clarify, Gabby broke up with me two days ago. Kristin also went out with Gabby about 2 months ago. To complicate things some more, I went out with Kristin over 1/2 a year ago. Well at first, Kristin objected my relationship with Gabby and thats why Gabby broke up with me. She didnt want to come between me and Kristin. Just today however, me and Kristin start gettting real close again in her room right? And that's when she want to know if i want to get back together. I told her i only wanted to stay friends because i still have to go figure some things out. Before i knew it though, i was all over her, and now, i dont even remember how, im suddenly going back out with her. Kristin hurt me a lot when we went out before, but she says she changed. I dont know whether or not i should believe her though. I still have feelings for Gabby, but i also like Kristin. But right now i think i got burned by the flames of love too much so im going to wait until i heal. I dont think i can handle being with anybody right now. Another factor i almost forgot, my other best friend, lets call him Landon, he is in love with Kristin, and i woulnt want her coming in between me and Landon's friendship. It may seem quite repetitive and Deja vu like, but i dont know. For crying out loud, if i already have doubts though, what are the possibilities that it would really last long. I dont know what to do, given the situation placed above. I really need help though. What should i do?!!??!?

This is a bit confusing but I'll try to get to the point. So, you went out with both of these girls and they keep breaking up with you, right? If I were you, I'd forget about both of these girls and find yourself a women! I mean, it seems like their just breaking your heart over and over again. Guys like to show girls they like them in nerdy ways. He'll probably tease you sometimes, that could be a sign. Then other times he could be a total sweetheart or flirt with you, hug you, put his arms around you for no reason or just start talking to you out of the blue. If you really don't see these signs happening, get one of your friends or yourself to ask him if he has any feelings for you. Then take it from there.

It's going to stay in your system for awhile, especially when you just smoked it yesterday. And since you did, it's going to show up on your drug test. You could always drink a cup of white vinigar (yeah it sounds gross), and then take the test the next day. It'll help get the weed out of your system.

I know how you feel. I used to like one of my best guy friends. I told him and we started going out and everything. But it just didn't work out. We're still best friends and nothing is weird between us. It's great that we found out that we're ment to be best friends and nothing more. You should tell him that you like him, he might like you back and he's just to shy to tell you. Because maybe he's scared that you'll screw up the friendship you already have. But if I were you I'd tell you. You'd feel so much better getting something like this out of your system, trust me.

No guy is worth losing a friendship over. Guys come and go, but friends are the ones that stay there for you. I wouldn't go out with him, just because your best friend likes him and is pissed about it. Try crushing on another guy, I'm sure there are a lot out there.

My friend has a tattoo there, on either side. It looks really cute. It's two butterflys. She said it did hurt, but nothing to make you cry. All tattoos hurt, especially when it's by a bone. I'm sure you'll be fine and good luck!

You could get one of your friends to go up to him and ask him who he likes. Or you could pretend to bump into him in the hallway once day. Then start up a conversation there somehow. If nothing works out, don't worry. There will be a lot more guys that'll come your way!

You could have an infection of some kind. I don't think it's the cream that's doing anything, because it was itchy before you started using it correct? I think you should go to the doctors or talk to your mom about it. Either one of them could help you out.

My mom is so thickheaded. Once she has something in her mind, she sticks to it. There is absolutely nothing that can change her mind. It gets to the point where I start hating her. Please give me a solution or something to maybe help stop her thickheadedness!!!

Mom's are always like that. It's like being a "Thickhead" is in their "Book of being a mom" or something. If this really starts to bother you, tell her how you feel about it. She'll understand and maybe even try to work something out, so she'll stop being "Thickheaded".
