talent show
Im doing the talent show at my school. I already signed up so i cant not do it. I wanna sing, but i dont know what song to sing... does anyone have any good ideas for songs?
I sound sorta like Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride, Leann Rimes, SheDaisy, Play, Shania Twain...

Do Shania Twain because she has a great voice thats easy to mimick. Singing like her should be nop prob, since you sound like so many other ""sort- of country singers"". Ka- CHing was one of her songs that many of my friends admired. Maybe urs will too.

As a singer myself, my advice to you is not to sing a song that you've written yourself. It's harder for people to relate to a song they don't know and is more difficult to judge if they don't know how it's "supposed to sound". Go for an up tempo song if you can rather than a soppy ballad. Get the feet tapping with a classic and they'll remember you over all the rest at the end. Good luck with show :o)

Do Concrete Angel by Martina McBride. That shows talent and it's a really sad song! If you don't choose that, i'd recomend a slow song that shows off your voice. Hope i helped!

Martina McBride has some really great songs that you could do like "This One's For The Girls" and "Concrete Angel"; You could do "From This Moment On" by Shania; or you could do "Since You'be Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson. I know most of these songs have been mentioned but I'm trying to pick some songs from artists that you sound like. Hope I helped :)

I sang "Honey I'm home" by Shania Twain! It was a really good song! It gets the crowds really involved. "Low" by Kelly Clarkson is really good too. Um....also Concrete Angel by Martina McBride is a really good song, it has a really good meaning. Big Deal by Leann Rimes is a fun song! Its really easy to get into and express!
Make sure you get a kareoke cd. (if thats how you spell it haha) Don't sing with the actual person. Best buy, wal-mart, and any local music store probubly has really good kareoke cd's! i get mine from best buy!

I really love the song "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson. You could pull that one off. Maybe even "Since U Been Gone" or "Hear Me"
