My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

ok well today out at the lockers theres this guy Ryan and well i went into class and he just stood there and asked my friend cheyenne if i liked phillip *which i do...alot* and like he kept buggin her to tell him and so durin science im behind ryan and like him and phillip came behind my science table and started talkin and when we were takin notes they kept lookin at me and phillip would do this whole lil nod back look at me thing so what does this mean?

Since Ryan and Philip are friends, he just wanted to know if you liked Philip. He asked your friend because if he asked you and you said no then it would be obvious that he likes you. I think he does like you. Just see how things go. Anything else, let me know.

okay so i suck at using tampons, like i can do it fine when im at home, becuase (sorry if this is weird sounding) the only way i can put them in is if i have one leg on the toilet and the other on the ground with my legs totally spead apart, so i can really do it at school becuase i cant exactly spead apart my legs whenim wearing jeans, and yahh i dono, whats the best way to change it at school?

You can do that at school. Go to the bathroom and change. You have to take your jeans off or pull them down anyways. Just put one of your legs on the toilet and the other one on the ground.

It could mean a couple of things..he might like you as a friend or he likes you a little bit more. Flirt and talk with him more to find out.

Me && my bestfriend have been friends for 15 years.. one day this summa we went to chill at her boyfriends house.. ( of 2 years) and one of his friends were there.. ( austin ) we chilled for a while.. and started talking alot. Suddenly after 3 weeks or so, we stopped talking because i had gone back home.. which was an hour away. when i moved to the same town.. he became one of my very good friends. My friend and austin, new i liked him. one night we were all drinking, they ended up hooking up. even though she knew i liked him. && the first time it was only to get back at her ex bf for cheating on her, she she went to his best friend. which i thought was a pretty shitty thing to do. After that ordell, she started becoming obsessed, buying pens that said his name on them calling him 24/7.. everything. but on the other side.. her and her ex were still hooking up and talking. she was playing both of them. soon after that, austin and i started talking again. & hanging out alot. one time we were drunk and started kissing.. but that was it. and when she found out she got mad.. but it was okay for her to do it to me? i didnt understand. a little while after she kept telling me she was over him.. so i told her i liked him and she didnt have a problem. but when the 3 of us got together to drink again, i ended up hooking up with him. & she was pissed.. was it wrong of me to do that? should i still like him? i dont know what to do..

It was not wrong of you to do that. Your friend is going pshyco! She is getting jelous way too easy. You liked him way before her and she had a boyfriend. What you need to do it tell the first guy that she is playing both of them. It's wrong of her too do that. Talk to Austin and then talk to her. Tell her she shouldn't be getting mad at you when you liked him for a long time and she had the other guy. She is being very unreasonable.

i have been gettin discharge for a year now.. im 13/f and i havent even gotten my period yet. And you said you get it before you get your period so wats goin on? lol thnx for the help

You can get discharge for a really long time and still not get your period. You will though. You will never know when so always bring a tampon and pads with you.

ok this question is for girls only lol. i have my period & i can't use tampons..but i have swimming in gym class & my teacher is being a jerk about it, so i have to swim for the rest of the week. i'm not sure what to do exactly. my mom told me that your period stops & slows down in water, soo should i juss jump in fast? any ideas?

That isn't a very good idea. You might bleed and the tampon might rip. You should ask your mom to write a note or call that teacher because you can't swim on your period and you can't use tampons. If the teacher won't let you, tell the principal. The teacher defenetlly should let you though, and if not then they are being really mean and not doing their job.

I'm not really good with presesnts but the best thing to do is make him something that would mean a lot to him. Pictures of you guys together, things you guys did, scrap book. Things like that. Things that are important to you as well as him.

How long have you guys been going out? If it's only been a little then it will take some time. He has to get comftrable around you and get to know you better. If he cares about you, calls you and those little things then he cares about you a lot.

i'm the only one out of my circle of 6 or 7 friends that got asked to homecoming, so obviously i'm very excited and i'm going. normally, all of us do pretty much everything together. a few of my friends were going to go, but they didn't have dates so they decided not to go. instead, they're all going out - to get pedicures, the mall, the movies, out to dinner, then sleeping over one of the girl's houses. i'm going to homecoming with my bf and 4 other couples, we're all good friends but still i feel SO LEFT OUT! they're all rubbing it in my face saying "yeah you're gonna have fun, but i'm SO EXCITED! we're gonna have SO MUCH FUN!" and it's turning into this big issue. i don't want to accuse anyone, but do you think they're jealous? because most of them asked someone and got turned down, and someone asked me, so i was excited. they keep telling me about how much fun they're going to have & i feel so guilty now, going and everything and missing out on an awesome night. should i feel guilty? i know i'm going to have SO much fun with all of my other friends, but they keep getting mad because i'm so excited! it's not wrong for me to be excited! do you think they're jealous?

Woah.. friends do this stuff a lot but in the end you have to remember you guys are all friends. You both are going to have eather way. They might be jelous that they didn't get asked and you did. You guys shouldn't be worrying and argueing about this though. You should talk to them and tell them that you all should go to homecomming. Having a date or not is nothing big. Eather way if you guys are together you will have fun. You guys could have a sleep over after and do whatever. When they say that they are going to have fun, try and be happy for them and say you will have fun to. Maybe the next day you guys can make some plans. Anyways, have fun. I mean this will all pass in a day.

I had mcdonalds for dinner.. i ate about half a fish sandwich and sum french fries and then i threw it up. This never happend to me before.. i threw alot of if up. Today i felt dizzy and now i have a stomache ache. Am i just sick?

Did you eat something bad earlier? It might of been the combination you were eating or there was something wrong with the food. You also might be sick. If you eat something again, and throw up then yes you are sick. Ask your parents about it.

Discarge is just one of the signs that you know you will get your period soon. It's white and you get it on your underwear. It's nothing bad and its healthy.

What can I do to make me think about food less?

Don't trow up.. its not healthy. You should keep yourself busy and if you don't you need to learn how to swich and eat healthier foods. Stop eating junk and fried food. Exercise and you'll be fine.

Hey, for my homecoming dress - it's a floor length straight, satin dress. What kind of underwear should I wear? My cousin told me not to wear any, but I think that would be awkward. I know if i wear regular underwear you'd definitely see a line, and you probably would with a thong. What about the microfiber thongs that are thicker? Or boyshorts? What's your opinion?

I would wear a thong because there is never a line and its comftrable. You should try them all on and see what first you best.

His name is Sam.okay and the other day this boy named Danny came over .i kinda like him .but we were just hanging out.but then me and him were in my room and we started main out and one thing lead to another.Well now everything seems realy weird latley and i feel like i cheated on my boyfriend.i mean i really really love my boyfriend more then everything in the world.He comes over sometimes but nothing really happens between me and him.Its weird. Since you made out with Danny, and who knows what else you did then yes that is cheating. Even though you love Sam, you know it was the wrong thing to do. Telling him is your decision. You guys might not be together after you tell him. It just depends on how he might take it. You should do whatever you feel like. You and Danny can choose to keep it just between you guys. You should never do it again. You love Sam, and I know you didn't mean to hurt him.
