on mtv last night, right before the new episode of the real world, there was one of those commericals where mtv plays part of a song and shows part of the music video before a new show comes on. what was the name of the song that they played right before the real world last night, around 10:30ish. it was a guy singing, and the only part of the song i remember is "your fingertips" which could be tons of songs, so you had to have been watching the real world last night to know

Hi I am doing a powerpoint presentation tomorrow on the accuracy of severe weather alerts. I got the whole powerpoint thing down, but I was wondering what else I could do besides the powerpoint and my speech. Like, some of the other people had interesting hand-outs that had to do with their topic. I want something like that, but I don't know what to do. My topic isn't that interesting to most people, so I wanted something to make it better. I'm really not good w/ speaking in front of people, so nothing that will require me to get the class involved. Just some kind of handout or something to ask. It was to be 8-10 minutes long, so I need something to draw it out a little more.

Oh and any advice on giving speeches because I'm terrified lol.

i am terrifed at giving speeches, too.
haha.
but don't worry.
what I do,
is just not focus on the people.
I just say what I have to and pretend that I'm talking to a room full of people I know and am comfortable with.
If you have a friend in the class, focus on him/her.
pretend they're the only one you're giving your speech to.

as for the hand outs...
maybe give some cool pictures
of severe weather?
that might interest people.
like a picture of some crazy big hurricane or something.
