so, school's almost out and i'm making a fun, summery playlist for my ipod to listen to in the car, with the girls, etc. i need some fun, never-get-old sort of songs, preferably about summer. some stuff i already have, just to get the jist of it, are: kenny chesney's "summertime", evan & jaron "from my head to my heart", ok go's "here it goes again" and uncle kracker & kenny chesney's "when the sun goes down".

"in the summertime" - mungo jerry (i think), "summer in the city" - i'm not sure but you can google for the artist, absolutely anything by franz ferdinand. franz ferdinand is like the ultimate summer band. their music is very catchy and makes me happy!

Well...Ska is a fun music genre.
It's like "happy rock" with brass instruments. Well third wave anyways. But you have to be careful, because it depends on which band. So basically stay away from Punk Ska.
I suggest you download stuff from Reel Big Fish, Mustard Plug or Less Than Jake.
