I see gas prices dropping left and right, especially since the economy started to go into a crisis with the DOW and all losing so many points recently. Where I live, gas prices are about $2.79, forty minutes away I heard it's $2.49, and into Ohio I heard that it fell to $1.99 today. I can't remember the last time gas was under $2.00 per gallon!
So, gas prices are lowering and making things a little bit easier, but why are grocery prices rising still? I would assume that since transportation (the gas the vehicles use is what I'm going by) is cheaper for shipping then prices of groceries would fall along with the gas prices.
Is there a good reason why gas is lowering but food is still going up? I don't understand why gas prices are lowering anyway! Can someone please explain what is going on now?! (link)

i can give you my conspiracy theory, which i called 2 years ago, saying that gas prices would drop around the time of the election, to not leave a bad taste in peoples mouth about a republican presidency. as for food prices, well, people are still buying them at high prices, so why would stores lower them if that would just make them lose money?

ok so we just started Rolle's Theorem in calculus and im kinda confused. like i dont know how to know if the equations are continious or differentiable? like this one ::
f(x)= x2-3x+2
in the notes our teacher put that its both continuous and differentiable, but how do you find that out?
another one is f(x)= (x2-1)/x
she said that its not continuous, so Rolle's theorem doesnt apply.
but like.. how can you tell if its continous & differentiable!?!
i cant go in in the mornings for help & i work after school so its hard to get time to go, but if anyone could just help me with this one thing it'll help alot! this is the first time ive been seriously confused in this class ha thanks =] (link)

the only way i know to check if a function is differentiable is to try to find the derivative. if one exists, then it is, if not then its not. as for continuity, a function is not continuos if its undefined for any value of x. in the second function, if x=0 then the function is -1/0 and therefore undefined.

so i my boyfriend came in me on tuesday and wednesday i took plan b.. my period isnt due untill nov 1.. well he came in me again last night.. i dont need to take it again right? since it prevents the egg from attaching and only one egg is realesed so does that mean im fine and i dont need to take it again or what should i do ( oh and he came in me because the condoms broke both times not because he wanted to, just so you know and im 16) (link)

2 condom breakings means hes most likely using the condom wrong. you need to squeeze the tip when rolling it down so the seamen has somewhere to go. plan b prevents fertilization, or attachment. im not sure on the specifics, but it likely possible to get pregnant after using it, although it is basicaly a high concentration of the same medication as in the birth control pill. and its probably not safe to pump yourself so full of hormones by taking it a second time in such a short time.

So my boyfriend always seems to be exceedingly keen to perform oral sex on me. He basically pleads! However, although he's done it plenty of times sometimes I'm just not comfortable with it because I think it must taste HORRIFIC - and smell horrific too. I mean it never smells bad to me, but I've read that girls can taste really bad or good. I'm scared I'm in the former group and I only feel comfortable, or fully comfortable, with him doing it after a shower although he has done it before when I haven't felt comfortable with putting him through the trauma 'cus I haven't washed or checked down there for a few hours!
basically, even if it did smell and taste bad, does a guy mind alot?
and if he's always asking, basically pleading to do it and going in a mood when he can't do it, that can only be a good thing, right? He always says that boys are simple creatures and if he says he likes doing it, he likes doing it. He's also a very nice person and I'm worried he only does it because he thinks I get so much pleasure from it.
(I do, but I don't find it so essential I ask him for oral specifically).

if he keeps asking to do it, it means he likes it. if he was only doing it because he thought you liked it, he wouldnt be asking as often, he might even only do it when asked. also, since you keep insisting to shower beforehand, and probably otherwise act uncomfortable, chances are hes picked up on it, so hes doing it despite the fact that it makes you a little uncomfortable, so he must really like it.

I have been trying to tag some photos on my myspace but everytime I go to tag them an error message comes up saying "stack overflow at like 0"
i use internet explorer, i have also tryed with mozilla firefox but it just wont load the page.
My sisters can tag photos on their myspaces without the error message coming up but why cant I on mine?

it might be the person or picture you are trying to tag. upload a new photo, and try tagging it with a different friend. i dont tag on myspace, so ive never had this issue, but it might have something to do with the display name, so try someone with a simple one. myspace has multiple servers, so it might also be a problem for a lot of people, but not your friends who are on a different server. if it still doesnt work, try messaging tech support through toms profile. ive gotten good help from them in the past.

i got anesthesia today cause i got one of my wisdom teeth removed. i STILL can't feel the entire left side of my face, even though it's been 7-8 hours. how can i reduce the effects? sleep? ice? how can i get sensation back in addition to waiting patiently? (link)

what you want to do, is hope that the numbness lasts as long as possible, it really is a lot better than the pain that comes from getting wisdom teeth pulled... however, given the approval time of up to 6 hours for questions on this site, if you still have the numbness at this point (14 hours after the operation) it might be a complication and you should call your dentist.

you open up any picture editing software like paint or photoshop and paste one picture under the other then upload that. or if you want to put a picture as a caption for your picture, upload it somewhere else on the internet, then enter as the caption. you may have to convert the url of the picture with tinyurl.com first, because of the length limit of the caption.

I just started dating this guy, and I can't hide him from my parents, soon they will find out.
But when they do meet them, im a little worried.
Im 16, and he's 19, which im used to dating older guys, but he will be 20 in late march. Im Caucasian and he's black, which i dont care about, it's just skin color. But i don't know how my parents will react, i don't think it will be a good one.
and i don't know what to do, or how im going to have them meet. I could say he's a senior in high school and he's 18.
But they could find out soon that he's not.

just tell them the truth, then mention you are safer dating a guy over 18, because if anything goes really wrong, you can get him sent to jail for sexually abusing a minor, which you cant do if you were dating someone under 18. then talk about how none of that matters anyway, because you trust him and know he wouldnt hurt you. do this before they meet him.

Me and my boyfriend are both really indecisive, and we can never think of anything to do when we hang out. Neither one of us has a job (not for lack of trying), so anything that costs more than like $5 (i.e. movies) isn't an option. it takes 24 hours to fully digest, for your large intestine to suck out the nutrients. sugar and caffein are absorbed a lot earlier in the process than that.

well if you are just talking on myspace, id say you should suggest going out for coffee or whatnot to catch up in person. you be able to tell from his actions more easily if he still has feelings for you, or if he didnt, seeing you again might stir some up, and youll be able to see how you feel about him

I know that I can easily look it up on google and find a thousand links saying I can download it, but I've heard that there are some websites that instead of downloading spybot, you are actually downloading spyware or a virus or some kind of malicious software on your computer.

soo i had the verizon "tv phone" the one that flips up sideways sorta.. and it was shutting off so much because i texted too fast and too much. so they let me upgrade to the dare. and it's a great phone but it's just not for me... i don't want the touch screen and all that stuff. it's been over a month so i can't just bring it back normally but like, can i "down-grade" without paying? like go back to my old phone? or what kind of price do i have to pay? because the tv phone is only like 70 dollars now whereas the dare is 250... just wondering, any help would be great, thanks! probably not, but it doesnt hurt to ask... your best bet is probably to sell the phone on ebay, and then buy phone you want there as well.

well i started college a few weeks ago and have made a FEW very good friends. i am very comfortable with them and spend a lot of time with them. i have about 3 of these good friends. however, i would REALLY like to make more friends because sometimes these friends aren't available or i don't feel like being with them all the time. i am joining clubs, living on campus, yet i haven't met very many people in my classes or in the clubs. i am typically good at meeting people and i'm outgoing, but i feel like nothing is really happening right now. i would just like advice from people in college. oh, and i'm not joining a sorority or anything like that...but i would like to make some good girl bestfriends. its a bit harder making friends in classes in college than it is in high school. the way i made most of my friends, was hanging out in the commuter lounge at school. since you are living on campus, your best bet is probably at events thrown by your RA, or other campus events. most schools send out emails, and theres probably a facebook group or two. clubs are great too. just give it some time.

if you have att and the phone you get is att, and both are from the same region (ie united states) then yes, you will have no trouble just putting the chip in. unless the phone is really old, att didnt use sim chips a few years ago, not sure how long, probably about 10.

ive been working on it since the beginning of the year, and i think im doing pretty well.
its about a catholic schoolgirl ,rachel, whose parents are divorced. her mom had a lot of unhealthy habits when she was a teenager (smoking, drinking, sex, etc) and she gave birth to rachel at 15. she didnt want her daughter to go through the same stuff she did, so she put her in a catholic school when she was two. rachel's dad recently pulled her out of there because he wanted his daughter to live and not be locked up in a church all day, (hes not very religious)
well, rachel has been going to this new school for a few months and shes already changing. she goes to parties every week and she cusses and drinks and im fixing to have her go to a party where shes going to smoke weed. then her parents are going to find out, shes gonna run away with some money her friend gave her, etc etc.
i have a problem though: i havent ever done drugs and i dont know what its like to be on them. some of my friends have tried to explain it to the best of their ability, but its just not enough. can someone give me a good website that tells me thoroughly what its like to be on different drugs? if so, that'd help a lot.

drug experiences would be different for different people, theres also a question of amount. since you are already writing drinking her as drinking, the best way i can describe it to you is like drinking, but more mellow. you can also try watching that 70s show for ideas, depending on how long you have to write her as being high. not sure where you are taking the story, but you can also have her take one hit, and then stop, which wouldnt require much change at all, or do way too much in a short time and pass out, both of which would accomplish your need to have her run away.
