only answer if you are in college or have graduated college well i started college a few weeks ago and have made a FEW very good friends. i am very comfortable with them and spend a lot of time with them. i have about 3 of these good friends. however, i would REALLY like to make more friends because sometimes these friends aren't available or i don't feel like being with them all the time. i am joining clubs, living on campus, yet i haven't met very many people in my classes or in the clubs. i am typically good at meeting people and i'm outgoing, but i feel like nothing is really happening right now. i would just like advice from people in college. oh, and i'm not joining a sorority or anything like that...but i would like to make some good girl bestfriends.

its a bit harder making friends in classes in college than it is in high school. the way i made most of my friends, was hanging out in the commuter lounge at school. since you are living on campus, your best bet is probably at events thrown by your RA, or other campus events. most schools send out emails, and theres probably a facebook group or two. clubs are great too. just give it some time. ]
i just started college, too, and i'm having a similar problem. i asked a lot of people about this and they all told me just to wait it out, they didn't make any real friends until like their second semester. i think you're lucky just to 3 friends already, i've only made about 1 and the rest are acquaintances! :p are you being too picky? i mean, i know i can be like that. if you're just looking for people to pass the time, pick anyone. good luck! ]
