well tonight my boyfriend and i were fooling around and we were about to have sex.. and i wasnt "wet" enough for him to put it in me. this has NEVER happened before. i was completly turned on... but i just dont understand it.

is there any explination for it? (link)
Are you taking any antihistamines for allergies? Or stimulants? Many over-the-counter and prescription medications can cause that - anything that dries out your sinuses will dry you out down there, too. There is also a matter of timing around ovulation that will cause fluctuations. Also, drink more water... seriously.

i might have one friend that is still a virgin besides me.... i mean when we get into deep converstaions about sex and stuff i can't relate cuz i am still a virgin. every single time i watch a movie with a sex scene in it i get this weird feeling all over my body like i want sex that very minute. could someone please tell me if this is all normal or should i just give in and have sex? (link)
Why the hell would you "just give in" and have sex? What kind of logic is that? Sexual experiences are supposed to be personal, and you should only do what you're comfortable doing and mature enough to handle - both emotionally and socially (also, economically, because babies ain't cheap).

Of course you get that "weird feeling" - it's called having a body filled with raging hormones as a teenager.

Sex isn't supposed to be about "doing what everyone else is doing".

ok if i think of a guy 24/7 and i absolutly cant get him out of my head what so ever and i hear his voice and see his face infront of me and i miss him the second i dont see him anymore would you say im in love?

i rate (link)
I would definitely say that you are enamoured and infatuated with the person. Are you "in love"? That depends on how you feel like defining love. In one sense, yes you are... but in another, no you are not - or at least not yet. Love is a 2-way street - it is give AND take... it takes two people to be in love... so are you "in love" yet? Hard to say. If this is a relationship that you wish to pursue, then by all means, do so and see where it takes you.

Heyas.

Three days ago I got bad congestion. Today, this morning, I wake up and can barely manage a whisper. Theres no pain in my chest, when I breath or swallow or anything, just the usual discomforts of inflamed skin. However, it is progressively getting worse. I ahve to communicate with pen and paper now! Is it possible I have tonsilitis? What should I do to help it?

1st thing you should do - SEE A DOCTOR.

You could have anything from strep throat to tonsilitis to laryngitis to pollyps or even cancer (not, I'm not trying to scare you, just make you realize that there are many differnt things that can manifest in the throat/esophogus/trachea).

This could simply be drainage from your sinuses irritating your throat.

This could be a bacterial infection.

See a doctor.

im a very good catholic. i really feel bad if i do so much as say oh my god. anyway. i have been sort of mastribating lately. when i get horny sometimes i use a fake penis to 'have sex'. is this sinning because i wanna know if i should stop doing this. please please please help (link)
Masturbation is a normal part of sexuality. While some old-school buffoons will tell you that it is wrong, they are not correct. Sexuality is deemed a part of the human experience and some people like to try to use religion to hinder it instead of embrace it. You're not sinning. You're learning about your sexual desires in what would seem to be a healthy manner.

I'm an aspiring artist who is in the market for a solid-body electric guitar. I need suggestions on guitar manufacturers and companies. And opinions on the following: Fender, Gibson, Squire, Washburn, Epiphone, Ibenez, and Dean. Any advice from people who own/have owned any of these guitars is appreciated. 5's for all even if you're being a jerk. (link)
I have a Fender Strat, made in Mexico - it is perfectly good guitar.

I'm not overly fond of the necks on Gibson guitars, particularly the Les Paul - I love the sound, just don't like the feel of them.

Squire guitars are cheap-ass Fenders - generally a much poorer quality - if you want a serious instrument, DON'T get one.

Washburn - no real opinion formed about them.

Epiphone - very much like Gibson, given their tied history... they are good quality instruments.

Ibanez - I have been an Ibanez fan for years. I have an Ibanez 5-string bass... I love it. Their student-model instruments are on par with the Fender Squiers and other such low-end units, but their other guitars are very well made.

Dean - they look very pretty. However, I can't say that they are good instruments - they are very pretty though... I'm not overly fond of Dean, they are made to look nice and be inexpensive, but I'd rather pay more and get an axe that I know is going to last a while.

The biggest thing I can tell you though, is to try out many guitars that you've deemed to fall into your price range - and choose on how it sounds and how it feels in your hands... if you don't like how the instrument feels, why would you get it? Choose a guitar that feels comfortable to you.

can the air i breathe give me respiratory conditions? like if i breathe pollutants.. what conditions could it give me? (link)
Yes - they can cause additional allergies, asthma and asthma-like symptoms, and even act as a precursor to lung cancer in those who are prone to that form of cancer.

i am the same person that wrote witch/devil with the thoughts in my head. well kately i have thought about it a lot and all that, well in class i kind of fell asleep and i was aware that i had my eyes closed and all that, anyway i had a weirdish dream and it was a dream that the devil was dragging this guy i have never seen before in my life under the bed and killed him. this woke me right up but i hnever had a dream like that and now all i can think about is that dream and that guy i didn't even know and the fact that i might be a satanist what should i think about instead of this? (link)
Have you considered submitting yourself for examination by a psychiatrist - possibly for the onset of schizophrenia? Just a thought.

I went out with this boy for 4 months and we broke up. He has a new girlfriend now. I don't know her, but one day she messaged me out of the blue and started asking me if I still liked him and have feelings for him. So I told her that I don't because I kinda do, but only a teeny bit. Anyway, she won't leave it alone and everyday she asks me if I want him back and blehh. What do I say to her to make her stop, cause I'm really tired of telling her that I'm not trying to steal her boyfriend. (link)
You could make a joke out of it and reply to her that you secretly married him and that your dog and his dog are about to have puppies, and that you're really a queen of the principaility of Andorra, and that he's borrowing your private shoe collection and that you really need the shoes back... and just keep telling her stranger and stranger things until she shuts up...

...becuase really, it sounds like she's trying to play some sort of twisted game with you, and 1) that's not fair to you and 2) it is a waste of your time... so might as well have some fun with her stupidity, eh?

Ever since I was in first grade my mother made me take piano, which I hated so I dropped it in the 5th grade. Since the third grade, I have taken viola, and I am so-so about it, (I'm in seventh grade) because I have played it for so long I don't want to let it go. My mother wants me to quit strings and take chorus next year, because she thinks I have potential there, but I don't want to do that because I feel like I let too many things I could have been good at go. I recently gave my mother a deal- let me start guitar lessons, and then I will totally drop strings and take chorus next year. My mother refused, and I think she did that because she thinks I can't be committed to anything, even though I love guitar to death and I would truly love it instead of being so-so about it like strings. Guitar is just such a lovely instrument that I would be so extremely happy to learn to play it. I love chorus too, but I don't want to make my mother think I'm not committed by jumping out of strings. What can I do? How can I prove I'm worthy of guitar and that I'm actually committed to it? (link)
You've been trapped by a very common thing, sadly. It sounds like the music is in you, it is just a matter of tapping into it properly.

From what you've said here, it sounds like strings are the right way to go for you - your playing viola shows this.

Perhaps you could demonstrate that your love of guitar and current skill on viola can lend themselves to each other. Try talking about classical guitar, flamenco guitar, and even jazz. If you really want to drive your point, look for music by Andres Segovia.

Also, would it be worth your effort to say that you'd rather continue on viola than move to choir? That would also demonstrate drive in that area, and perhaps the switching from viola to guitar wouldn't seem so drastic to your mom? Just a thought.

No matter what though, you're young so you've got time on your hands. Keep at music in whatever form you are able. What I've learned from saxophone has translated to bass, and to guitar. There is much in music that you can teach yourself if you spend the time to keep on playing and moreso, to spend time listening and developing an ear for picking out melodies and creating harmonies.

Either way, good luck.

I don't know if I am straight or bisexual (i'm a 15/f) ... is there any sites I can go to that might help me or like a quiz I can take online or something. Please help thanks in advance. (link)
For a matter that you intend to take seriously, the LAST thing I'd recommend would be a website or ESPECIALLY an on-line quiz. Quizzes like that are usually completely and total pieces of crap. No quiz can tell you what your sexuality is. You have to learn that from experience, not from someone telling you "oh, you're bi" or "this quiz says that you could be 30% straight, and 70% gay"... because that's crap.

You're only 15 years old. You have a long time to decide things about your sexuality during the course of your life. I mean, maybe you're bi-curious... maybe you're just curious about sex in general. Sexuality is a complex thing... give it time, you needn't rush into anything.

ok my ? is that i have been rated plenty of times and like my ratinq time has been going down like today it was 7 times and now its 6 times and the average is 4 but i have been rated the last 6 times 5's.. i dont get why its doing what it is! please help! (link)
read the FAQ - it explains how the ratings system works... and really, you shouldn't worry so much about the ratings - that's not what this site is supposed to be about.

All throughout my life I've broken every set of headphones I've ever owned. I really dont know what the deal is. They always seem to lose connection on the right side. Does this happen to anyone else? Anyway, I kind of borrowed some headphones from my sister and now Ive found that I've broken those too. .. Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks to all who answer, I rate. (link)
If it is always the right side, that is saying something about how you handle your headphones. It sounds like you are causing too much stress on the wiring on the right side, breaking the connection in the wiring. This usually happens in the wire right at the jack or right where it goes into the speaker. In your case, I'll guess it is up by the speaker. You could try to splice the wire, or solder it.. but most people buy really cheap-ass headphones that are pretty much designed to be disposable anyway. You can give fixing it a shot, or just throw 'em out and buy new, cheap head phones that will also break in a few months. I would not recommend you try buying expensive headphones, because they also break, and then you'd be out a significantly larger amount of money.

Hello, I have recieved several threatening letters over the past year from my father. The threats include having me put in hospital, also stating that he has had a curse put on my daughter and myself to ensure that something bad happens to us, and general insults and abuse aimed at my wife daughter and myself. We have really had enough of this, is there anything I can do and should I go to the police ? I am convinced that he is going to pay someone to come and do physical harm to my family or myself. He is quite old and in a poor state of health, but is and has always been a very brutal person having caused misery and suffering over many years mainly to his wife and children. All I have done to promt these letters is to write to him listing his bad deeds over the years and telling him what I thaught of his behaviour, this was without any aimed insults from me. My letter to him was in response to further bad behavior on his part.

Yours and Best Regards

Daniel (link)
I hope you've kept all the threatening letters. Take them as evidence to the police - otherwise you'll have to wait to establish the behavoiur - the police will want evidence of threatening.

Ohkay well my middle school v-ball coach seyd to try out for our team next yr i need to build up my arm mussels so i can serve really well! Got any tips? (link)
You don't need really strong arms to serve well. Serving is all about technique. It is about proper body posture, getting a good toss, and then using your arm swing along with follow-through to utilize the momentum of your whole body to propel the ball. Also, it matters if you're trying to place serve or serving floaters.

You don't need a really strong arm. Just good technique. Practicing your serve a lot is the best option. Start by making sure you have a consistent toss. Know where you want the ball to be so that you can get a solid hit on the ball. Swing your arm and follow through, taking a step as you hit the ball, but don't step onto the court AFTER you've contacted the ball. Let the step you take ad the force of your body to the ball. When serving, don't look at the net, look beyond the net to where you want the ball to land.

Hello. im 16 and recently lost my virginity....i think. my question is about how to know if you have exactly lost it. he was inside of me...but i dont know if he was in far enough for "my cherry to be popped". it hurt really bad...and he was only inside of me for like 10 minutes. if you dont want to answer thats ok. i just asked you cause yur bio said that you were a husband, father, uncle, etc. so i figured its a kind of been there done that kind of thing. yeh...help..? (link)
That pretty much sounds like you lost it, no matter how you look at it.

hey im 15, and i was wondering can teenagers get breast cancer? like on my left breast i feel like some bump or something but i dont know if its really a bump and it hurts a little in that area. i was wondering could that be breast cancer? im really worried and i want to know, if any of you know what can that be, maybe its just that my breasts are still growing or something i really dont know. please help me. (link)
Odds are, it is just an area that is growing and has become sensitive. It could be some various form of benign cyst. It could indeed be cancer, though if breast cancer isn't prevalent in your family at young ages, the odds of that are really quite low. When in doubt, which it seems that you are, talk to your doctor about it. At worst, they'll order an ultrasound or mammogram (yeah, those are great fun... and yeah, I'm a guy and I've HAVE had a mammogram...)

i think my friend is going to try and kill herself she just found out that her brother is dead and he was the only member of her family who didn't hit her and now she won't talk she didn't even cry when she found out she just looked so lost and she has tried to kill herself before and i'm so afraid that she's going to try again she won't talk to me though and i don't know how to help her what do i do? (link)
If you really feel there is a risk of her attempting suicide, you must tell people in positions of authority - be that your parents, her parents, teachers, whomever - this is NOT a burden you should try to handle on your own - get help and get it from adults you can trust.
