Ok, well I came home from school today and found my cat behind one of our landscaping trees, so I called his name, and he kind of looked up, but didn't come, which was REALLY unusual, so I knew something was wrong. Well, I took him inside, and kind of checked him out, to see if he was ok. I think I found what's wrong: in his right ear, I can see a little blood, and there's also a bit of dried blood below his ears on his fur. When I tried to touch it, he flinched, but when I touched his other ear, he was fine. So I'm pretty sure it's his ear. But he won't eat or move much at all. Right now, he's behind the rocking chair in the corner, not really moving. I'm scared, because I've had him for about 9 years, and I recently lost a dog who was only 7, and I can't bear to lose my other pet. I'm thinking he either got in a fight or got attacked by another animal. (he's an outdoor cat). My question is, does anyone know what's wrong with him? Is it really bad that he hurt his ear? I'm taking my dog to the vet tomorrow to get her sutures (sp?) removed, should I take my cat too? I tried calling both my parents, but they didn't answer. I'm really scared, what should I do? Please help me.

Ok, calm down hun. Cats a strange animals, they get in fights and their behaviour changes regularly. I think you should take your cat to the vets, only to be checked out - but please don't panic. You can tell your parents when they get back. Pay him a lot of attention and put some food near him, make sure he has something to eat. Your cat's ear must have been affected somehow in the fight and maybe the attacker really damaged it. Talk to your parents, take your cat along to the vets and don't worry too much!

all my friends (that are girls) are prettier than me ! especially my bestfriend ! she is like perfecttt ! she has the perfect face, the perfect hair, she is a perfect cheerleader, and she has the perfect body
.. and me well im skinny so im not that big-chested .. and well my hair never comes out as good as hers and i have the worst smile.. like i got braces and my teeth are straight .. but their reallly big and my smile isnt a good smile.. ALL my friends have good smiles and are pretty and outgoing and the boys like them..
like i mean i dont think im UGLY .. but compared to them i feel like i am ..

i just need something to help me gain more self-confidence and stop me from being so self-conscious about the way i look and i want to be more outgoing like my friends

You admire features of your friends. You can't change the way you look dramatically unless you want to end up like Michael Jackson but you have to learn to love yourself, then othe people will see that you're comfortable with yourself (even though you may not be inside) and see things they haven't seen before. Life's too short to stare at a mirror and identify everything that's wrong with you because you're not a Barbie doll, you're you and you have to accept that.

So, there's this guy, and well obviously i like him, but i don't get a chance to talk to him that often. I mean I've talked to him before, but not like had a conversation. He doesn't seem to notice me that much, but i really want him too. Can you give me tips on how to get him to notice me?

- Smile
- Wave
- Ask what his hobbies are, make a conversation, what music he likes, favourite song, what he does on the weekend
- Entertain him i.e. make him laugh
- Find out more about him which you will find interesting and he might think that you're a good listener

I'm 13/m in jr high and I was wondering, how old is an appropriate age for sex? I've heard of people my age that have had sex, but I don't think 13 is an appropriate age, so..... how old should you be to have sex?

It's legal to have sex when you're 16. But just because other people might have had sex, doesn't mean you SHOULD. You run your life and don't let anyone try to persuade you to go down a pathway which you really don't want to go down!

ok there's this boy and i really really like him but he likes this other girl we'll call Sue and Sue has a boyfriend but he (the guy i like) keeps flirting with her and sitting next to her talking to her etc. but when me and him are alone (not just the two of us but like me and him and other friends and sue not being there) i swear he's flirting with me and of course i flirt back cause i really like him. But i dunno how to see if he likes me or how to get his mind of Sue and on to me. I just don't know what to and i don't wanna just ask him out cause tha'd be kinda weird and plus i'm not like that so can someone please help me get his attention more on me than on her? thanks....

Why not bring up in general conversation "So, is Sue your girlfriend?" or "You and Sue seem to be getting along nicely". Just bring her up and see how he reacts when talking to you about it. Also, you can find out his hobbies and interests and see if you connect, he could think "Wow, she likes the same music as me..." etc...so you have stuff to talk about like a certain band or celebrity. Compliment him too, say how you like his hair today and buy him something for Christmas too. :)

I was just wondering if anyone has tried spray-on tanning. I do not want to harm my skin with regular tanning, but I don't want to look white as a ghost either. So, how do they do it? Does it look fake? Will it streak or wash off? Does anyone recommend it?

Becareful with it, it can leave streaks if used inapproprately. Make sure it is spread evenly across your skin.

I've just shaved my legs and no hair has come off. Do you have to apply quite a lot of pressure? I'm scared of cutting myself and those hair removal creams take aaages and don't work all that well on me...I only have til Friday so I can't go out and buy wax either. What can I do?

Quite a lot of pressure. Cutting doesn't hurt THAT much, it just stings. Dry it, put a plaster on it and it goes away in 3 days! Make sure you have a sharp-bladed razor too!

ok, There is this guy that I am like in love with. But the thing is, is that he is my Ex Boyfriend. I swear we get along so good now. We talk laugh and everything. He even looks 'sorta' like Billie Joe Armstrong (I Guess you can see why.) But the problem is, is that I am sorta confused with him. Ok for the second part. I have this friend Amber and me, her and Kody (my ex) hangs out all the time. He acts like he is in LOVE with me (odd isnt it?) but anyway when he jokes he calls my friend a bit*h, Who*e, and so on. But he never calls me that. he is always so nice to me. So does he like me. He always stares at me and stuff and smiles at me and everything! Sooo?? All 5s!

What are some good party ideas for a party in a basement in the winter. Food, decoration, game ideas? There is probably going to be around either 30 or 15 people whether i decide to invite some people.

Food - Good ol' junk food. Chocolates, popcorn, burgers, chips etc..
Decoration - Winter = Christmas, get them lights in there!
Music - Christmas music
Game Ideas - Truth or dare or dancing

Nothing is wrong with you. If it makes you feel any better, I know someone who was EXTREMELY pretty who didn't kiss for the first time until she was 20! Just because others might have even lost their virginity now, doesn't mean you should follow in their footsteps...be yourself and a first kiss should be what you want, not what others want you to do.

okay well, im well, sorta prude? i guess. i feel fine kissing, getting felt up, hangjob, you know that. but ive never been fingurd, aten out and im a virgin.i feel that i am sort of missing out? on something. and since i am attracted to older guys they will except all that from me. and i just get scared. im not very confident in myself down there and i dont know what a vagina is suppposed to look like and what if mine is gross? i dont know. i want to be in a relationship, and this stuff in the long run is goig to affect itt.

Why not explore your own body so you become confident with it. It's not gross, I'm sure it's like everyone eles' and it'll be fine when you're in a relationship...as long as things aren't rushed.

Clear your mind, think to yourself that you're being silly and that she won't die. I over-react too with things like that too. It'll be all over and done with and she'll be fine, I'm sure.

My 8th grade prom is coming up(towards the end of the school yr.) and its not a problem to find a date for the prom the problem is that i get nervous dancing infront of people i dont know why though. Just to let you'll know i do know how to dance. If anyone has any tips on ways i could get over this please let me know!

But seriously, practice makes perfect. Remember, it isn't going to be you on the dancefloor and it's not a test to see who can dance the best. Start swaying side to side then get those hands and those hips moving, mister!

I am a good writer and I LOVE writing shor stories. I am 13/f. I was looking for a new topic to write about but no one has any ideas. I like writing about reality... meaning I don't like to write fantasies. For example, I don't write about dwarfs, dragons, elves, etc. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had a summary or something of something yall have heard or something so I can turn it into a story. Much appreciation.

- Someone who is having family problems, can't escape, maybe his/her mother hits them and they're getting weaker by the day
- A diary of you but exaggerate i.e. make someone up and describe how he looks and develop into a love story

well i was hanging out with some guys aboout 2 years older than me. i have only been friends with them for like a month, and i think one of them (Josh) is incredible hott. So i was with the guys and josh was there and he kept staring at me. so i was like why are u staring at me? and hes like your really pretty. and he started smiling... but idk if i believe him or not. is he only doing this as a joke since he knows i think hes hott? should i trust him, or is he just doing this to show off for his friends?

Perhaps he was genuine. Talk to him privately and see how he acts when he's not around his friends. Maybe get his number, fiddle with your mobile and just say "what's your number, I'm in the progress of updating my address book".
