Well... there is this guy (lets call him Jamie).(sorry if its a little long) He's okay but not the hottest guy I've ever seen. He's smart, funny and he's a good friend of mine. My friend Ashlyn and I always hang out with Jamie, another friend named ryan and a few other boys. That Jamie kid likes me though. We play truth or dare and all sorts of stuff outside. Everytime it's his turn he always picks me. He always smiles at me and follows me around. He flirts like crazy with me. Last night it was his turn for truth or dare, he asked my best friend if I liked him and if I would go out with him and stuf like that. She just said I dont know, because she didnt want to hurt his feeling, afterall he is her cousin. Soo... i think he's going to ask me out like SooN! But I dont want to go out with him. It would be weird. We see each other like everyday after school. What should i do to break it to him gently but still be friends. (oh and make sure there isnt any weird tension going on) Thanks :) Should I say yes? or no? I need help!

Be honest.
If you dont like him you need to tell him the truth, instead of leading him on.
But it doesnt help if you were flirting with him back, because that was giving him the wrong signal. Theres nothing you can do to take the weird tension away, its going to be there, but if you are really good friends, you'll be able to bounce back from it quickly.

Dear Readers,
I've asked this question many times, but I haven't been listening to people who answer it because I'm just too afraid. Can you help me and please be honest.
There's this guy, L, and he's a Freshman while I'm in 8th grade. We go to the same school and for about 8 months, I've been having a MAJOR CRUSH on him. He seems like a really adorable, cute, nice guy. He's smart, and I like him because with all the guys I've liked, they are mean to me.
How can I approach him? I rather approach him with no friends around him. I want to know his schedule so I can see him all the time, not to talk him though! I'm urging to call him, but last time I did, he didn't want to talk and seemed fairly annoyed.

Dont be afraid to read what people have to say, because there isnt any point in asking for advice, if you wont atleast consider someone is trying to help you.
Well if you spot him in the hall or something, or have a class with him, make effort to talk to him. Dont call him, I mean if he doesnt know you, he would probably think "geez an 8th grade is obsessing over me.. how annoying" I mean, it kinda sounds like you are obsessing over him. Wanting to know his schedule so you can see him all the time, if he knew about that, or found out about it, I'm sure he would want nothign to do with you. And there is more to liking someone, from other than their adorable,cute, nice, smart.. thats what you can see from a person, but that doesnt mean you "know" him, there is a difference of "knowing OF him" and "knowing him" and it sounds like you know of him, and from what you've heard you like him. Just let me remind you there is a big difference between that.

right now my family is broke and we dont have enough money to go shopping to get me any new cloths. I have the basic t-shirts && stuff but i dont have sweatshirts that match them and its starting to get cold out.

Id really like to make some nice outfits so i feel confident because im a big person on loving myself before anyone else.

please help with some ideas!?

Well you dont always need new clothes,
try going to like second hand stores, and before you pull your nose up, (if you dont like that..) give it a try. They have some pretty adorable stuff there that is cheap, who cares if its used? :] Sweatshirts dont need to match Tshirts, if they go over your shirt, no one will see whats under it.

Just remember you are beautiful and that no one is prefect in any way and everyone is unique.

I'm thinking about this theoretcially... its not that theres someone I really wanna go out with who lives a long way away, just thinking about it. Well there kind of is.. anyway. Do you reckon long distance relationships ever work?
I was thinking, the fact that you dont see them much means that theres less temptaion to go too far... but then, it could be so intense that when you do see them, you get carried away anyway. And then theres the whole trust thing... I dunno. Do you think theres anything good about them?

Well I can say honestly I've been there done that.
And I liked to believe that for a little while it works, until the other person gets a gf/bf and then you are crushed. Atleast thats what happened to me. The good part about it is that, well .. you get to know them mentally better, and get to know who they really are, better than what they look like. I'm pretty sure if that when you met up with them, you wouldnt get carried away unless like all you talked about was sex or something. For me, the whole "trust" thing for that, didnt work out at all. He lied so many times, and it hurt my feelings a lot. But if you know and trust this person with your whole heart, and are willing to risk getting hurt, that I'd say its okay.

Here are what I think the pros & cons are about it:

PRO +
Get to know each other better, mentally.
Love their personality not their body
Always have enough space

CON -
Trust is always an issue.
You start to want physical contact
Kissing, hugging, holding hands etc.
Its not like normal dating,
when they live so far away.

i was told i looked like a fox??? yeah uhm i dont know who called me it, but like what features resemle a fox because i dont know how i look like a fox but yeah whatever.

Sometime's people say "Hey foxy" or "wow, you're a fox" thats a compliment,
saying you're hot and what not.

But unless they said you looked like a fox like the animal, they probably arent complimenting you, more so .. mocking you.

I like this girl soooooo much. All these other girls tell me that the girl that i like also likes me back. But one time when i confronted her about this she said the whole i just want to stay friends thing. I decided im not giving up. I like her so much but it killed me when she said i just want to stay friends. how do i get around to her and show her how great of a boy friend i could be? I really dont want to just stay friends, so is there anything to help me get out of the friends zone and get her to love me the way i love her without showing it too much?

Well if she doesnt like you and when she tells you she wants to be friends. She really does want to be your friend, and nothing more.
Stop pushing and give up, because if you keep doing that, eventually she wont want to be friends at all anymore with you. Persistance isnt the answer all the time. The fact that she only sees you as a friend, nothings you can do or "show" her will change how she looks at you.

My dad says that I'm too skinny and need to put on about 10 pounds. I'm 5"1.5, and I'm 86 pounds.

I'm almost literally skin and bone. If I put on weight, where would the weight go? Is there any way to control where it goes, so it doesn't all go to my belly or my thighs?

That is actually kinda underweight,
but everyone's bodies are different.
Just eat healthy, and normal, whatever you usally eat, because it seems you just have a fast motabolism if you're skinny and not trying. :]

I have a Canon 2.7" widescreen digital video camcorder ZR 600. I want to be able to make small short movies and videos to put on Youtube. Can someoone please please please PLEASE give me step-by-step instructions on how to work my camera? I have a windows XP, if that helps. I've been trying to figure out how to do it forever and I just can't work it out. Any help you can see fit to give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well..
most cameras come with a special cord that connects to the computer from the camera.
Try finding the inscrutions for that.
It only fits in one spot on the tower, so it shouldnt be that hard to find.


Once you connect it, things should start popping up on your computer with instructions to installing anything you might need, then you can upload the video first to your computer.

After that, you should be able to find it in wherever folder you put it, and watch it on real player or winap or windows media player.

If you would like to put it on youtube,
make an account on youtube, and log in and press upload, and find your video in the folder, select it, and wait as it uploads.

Well, to put it plain and simple, I like a guy. I'm a freshmen, 14, and he's a sophomore, 16. He's in my french class, and I REALLY like him. His older brother used to date my sister, who said that he's a sweetheart. He's really nice and I like him, but I'm WICKED scared to even talk to him! He sits like 2 seats behind and then one to the right behind me. I don't know if I should just talk to him, or give up.

I would just start up a conversation with him, maybe about what kind of music he likes? Or something like that, or about the assingment, aha the thing is dont be nervous about it! And dont worry, I mean, if things dont work out, you can atleast have the satisfaction that you did have the courage to talk to him. So Yeah i woudl start a conversation, talk, see what happens, and usually once you get to know him better,, you can tell if you think a relationship like boyfriend/girflriend would work :)

Okay, so my gym teacher. I can't begin to tell you how much I will loathe him. ALL my friends and random stragners feel SORRY for me because I have this one gym teacher.

I heard that he's a sexist, likes only the guys and girls who do sports and or are popular. I don't fit into any of those categories. So erm yeah, how or what shall I do to insure that I'll get an A and not a B? I try my best at everything but it does not show very well...

Dont judge him on what other people say.
And dont go into your gym class thinking that,
because if you go in with a bad attitude, of course you arent going to like it.
He could be really nice, so just see for yourself. Do your best, and if he doesnt think you are doing your best, let him know that you are.

Talk to him about it.
If he doesnt treat you and introduce you as his girlfriend infront of his friends, thats rude, and it may mean he is embarassed to be seen with you or something, we call that two faced people.
I do suggest breaking up, even though you mentioned you dont want to. I mean why would you stay with someone who doesnt treat you right?

that everyone's body is different,

The thing is, always live life to the fullest, no matter where you are, because you cant wait until you can be old enough to live where you want to , to start your life.
Because right now is life.
Dont dream about your future husband, and where your going to live, and when you'll be on our own, and say "i cant wait to be living"
