if you have your period at the regular time one month... and then miss it completely the next month..does it usually just come the usual time the month after that?

i know im not pregnant..
but i have been sick lately so i dont know if im stressed out or why am i missed it, and i want to know when it will come back.

sometimes it depends on your age espacically if your just begin it could be irregular for about a year and being sick does play a big factor becasue the hormones in your body are off so it will casue your period to be off too

Yes I agree with the answer below,
that everyone's body is different,
and when your sick or stressed out, it delays you're period sometimes, so you cant really be sure when it will come back. :]

Yes it usually comes about the same time as it did before you skipped a month.

Stress, weight gain or loss (lots), running or more excercise can all cause you to skip. Don't worry about it unless it just doesn't come at all. :)

It could be a big factor. 20 lbs is a lot. Plus the being sick and having surgery! Hope you are feeling better now. :)
