Two quick questions here. My boyfriend and i (of 1 year 1 month today) are spending new years together. Ill be spending the night at his house. we have done everything BUT sex so far...but i think were ready to move a step forward (im not positive yet...im sleeping on it for a few nights). Anyways....on to the questions
1.) Sooo my bf got a condom from a reliable friend id say....5 months ago...and its an individual one..and it doesnt have a expiration date on it. i was wondering if like condoms go bad after that amount of time or if its more along the lines of a year or something. I know people are supposed to pay close attention to the exp. date...and it sucks that it doesnt have it on it.
2) Is it more likely to not get pregnant if you are having your period (i think i may have mine tomorrow) ? I know he wont care if its bloody/yucky...but i was wondering if it wood be a good thing to be having sex during it (or vice versa...a bad thing). We will, of course, be using that condom.

I would definitely buy a new condom! It could have expired, and its just all around better to buy a new one. Like the person below me said, temperature plays a part in it. And its better to be SAFE than sorry. :]
Also, it is acutally LESS likely you will get pregnant on your period (However, it is still possible!) But you still have to wear a condom because you can still get STDs.

Well, if he likes you - theres not much you can do about it! So, I say go for it. Talk to your friend first and tell her that you dont want a guy to come between you two and that if she's not okay with it, then you'll be reallyy hurt but you like him too.

Everytime i try to Upload a Picture for my Column is says "You tried to upload a picture, but it was greater than 15K in filesize so it wasn't uploaded." How can i get a picture on my column?

Then copy the Image URL.
Then go to Profile Settings.
And paste the URL in "URL of a picture of you" box. Its in PArt III - Stuff we show everyone.

Ask him what he's doing on a certain day. Example:
"So, what are you doing on ___(day)___? I heard ___(name a movie)____ is really good. Maybe we can go together."

I think it would be good to HELP him. Teach him tips on how to be a good kisser! If you do it in a nice, sexy way, he'll think its wayyy hot youre taking control of the relationship. Hmm Im in the same situation as you. So, youre not alone. Theres NOTHING wrong with you. :] Im 15 and I, too have never had a boyfriend. And Im not scary looking or antisocial. Im positive its that you havent found the right guy yet. A lot of dating in high school is simply trial and error. You go on a date with someone, you find out if you liked them and why and if you didnt like the person, you just try to avoid that in the NEXT person you date. Its pretty pointless to me - I used to care about not having a boyfriend, but I realized its silly. Youre still young - theres plenty of time to have boyfriends. I know it feels like youre missing out, but youre really not. MOST relationships in high school are NOT like the movies at all. Theyre not perfect and cute and they definitely do not last forever (try a few months.) And the guys at 15 are mostly stilll immature. So, that plays a part in it too. Try not to focus on it too much. Ive heard its like waiting for water to boil. If you wait for it and wait for it and watch it closely it wont boil as fast, but the minute you leave the room and do something else, it boils! I guess what Im trying to say with that analogy is that love comes when you least expect it - and you'll find a guy thats RIGHT. And it'll totalllyyy be worth the wait.

Everytime I'm laying down on my boyfriend and we are making out, he always seems to shake his knee/foot (like move it back or forth, tap it, i can't really explain it). It's really starting to bug me as to why he does this. It also happens when we're making out standing up. Why does he do it? Does it mean anything?

i LOVE singing. Everytime theres a song on that i like i sing. I really want to become a singer but im not sure if im good enough. I always sing in the car when my parents are there but they dont say oh wow your good, but the dont say im bad either. I record myself but my voice seems really low so im not sure if its me or the recorder. When i sing out loud and i hear myself i think i sound really good. A couple of my friends said im really good. Also my sister and I were playing this game because i wanted to see what she would say about my singing and she said i was great but im not sure if thats true because shes only 9. So what can i do to see if i sing good and also what should i do if i want to become a well known singer?

Im a singer also! And I very much want to be a famous singer, I think Im pretty good. Like you, Ive heard a million times people say, "Youre amazing!" But, sometimes I think theyre just being nice. :] Anyway, if you truly think its your passion you need to invest a lot of time in it. I take voice lessons and I benefit from it a LOT so I reccomend you do the same. It will really help you train your voice - very important if you want to be a singer! Also, try not to sing TOO much. If youre belting a song on the radio, try to sing from your lower abdomen (Ive really ruined my voice a lot by screaming songs like 'LaLa' by Ashlee Simpson) Haha, so dont do it! Also, if you want to get noticed, its a lot of work. And the chances are SLIM, but that doesnt stop me from trying! So it shouldnt stop you. Basically, sing anywhere you can. School plays, local talent shows, karaoke bars - you NEVER know who is watching you and when youre going to get discovered. So, neverrr pass up an oppertunity to sing. Then, you need to start writing some of your own songs and it would help to learn an instrument like guitar or piano since you'll stand out more if youre multi-talented. Then just wait. Its probably better to finish school and get an education. Im definitely going to college because if the singing thing doesnt work, you need something to fall back on! Seriously! So, try hard at school and get good grades, practice singing a lot, and maybe try to get an agent in your local area and make a demo to send to record companies.
