mystic tanning
can anyone give me information on mystic tanning? how do they do it? how much does it cost? can you get tanned naked or does like someone spray you? does it make you orange??
does it wash off? how long does it last?
im in fla if that helps :) i know i can just go in the sun but i hate tanlines.

hey, well mystic tanning is pretty easy once you get used to doing it. different tanning places do different things. the one that i go to you put on some lotion to make your tan even. then you go in a booth. you press a button and then it goes on in 5 seconds. you stand and get sprayed in the front for 10 seconds. then it gives you 5 seconds to turn and then you get sprayed in the back for 10 seconds. then you wipe off the extra spray that left on you. the tan is suppose to last 2 weeks. but if your active and sweat alot and take alot of showers it usually lasts a week or a week and a half. it wont make you orange if you choose a good place to go to. it usually cost about 25-30$ per session. you can either go in the booth naked or leave on underwear. its whatever you feel more comfortable with =].

how do they do it? There are several ways it can be done. You are either put in a sort of changing room type of thing with and you stand with your legs apart so they line up with your sholders. you close your eyes and mouth and spread your fingers. Then they spray comes out from a few jets in the front and sometimes in the back. Usually when it stops you get out but be careful and wait for it to set.
how much does it cost? Sometimes people buy packages so you don't pay per time you pre-pay so you pay x amount of dollars for x amount of tans. you can also pay per use and it really depends on what method you use, spray tan by machine, by person, or the tanning bed (which is just like a uv light which gets you tan). Usually for per-use tans you pay about $30.
Can you get tanned naked? If you're going into the booth people usually go naked. Whatever you wear when you get spray tanned will get stained so if you wear a bikini and don't want it stained just go nude. If someone is spraying you then you may feel more comfurtable in bikini.
Does it make you orange? I'd say yes. It depends on your skin shade and the hue of spray they use for you but usually you come out looking orange.
Does it wash off? You aren't suppose to take a shower of about 24 hours after, I think, so I'd say it could if you washed like later that night so just take a shower in the morning of.
How long does it last? If you do spray, then it lasts about a week-10 days. It won't completley fade away but thats why you're suppose to do it every week.
