I was wondering..today i ran the mile in 8:47 minutes today. Do u think that is goos, bad or average? just wonderin because our coach didnt tell us. thanks! xoxo

I think that that is a pretty good time. I usually run the mile in about 13 minutes, lol. It depends on what is expected of you and your team/sport. You should ask around to see what others got. But, that time is good in my book :)

okay this is gonna sound gross but i need help. a few days ago i had a sore throat and my stomach hurt (like cramps) yesterday the sore throat was gone but my stomach was worse, like cramps and dizziness sorta. lastnight i kept waking up with diarrhea. i know its gross and all. but like whenever i started to wipe there was a little blood. now this morning i went to the bathroom (just number one) but there was blood. and now in my underwear there is a little blood. am i starting my period or is it because i was sick??? thanks in advance for anyone who tries to help. just only answer if you think you REALLY know. THANKS.

Don't worry, it might be gross, but everyone has had diarrhea before... anyways. Yea, you're probably starting your period. It just so happens you were also sick. Hope you feel better.

Sometime this year i am planning to buy either an mp3 player or an ipod. I was wondering what people thought was better, an mp3 player or an ipod.

They both hold different amounts of music depending on which size you buy/are willing to pay for. I have an mp3 player and although its good, I kind of want an iPod. With an iPod, you can view other song titles, see what song you want to listen to next or whatever whereas an mp3 player, its kind of like a cd player: you have to keep pressing next to find which song you want to listen to next. I don't know how difficult/easy it is to put songs on your iPod, but with an mp3 player its easy. It's like transferring files onto a removable disk (except with songs and you have a plug that goes into your computer that connects to your mp3 player). Its easy. They both have their positives and negatives. I hope I helped!

This school year I started late because I was on vacation. Well, the first day I walked into my Physics class he smiled at me so I smiled back thinking "wow this guy is pretty hott" During that week we looked at each other in class and smiled but never talked. Today we had a fire drill and he was the fisrt out the classroom and I wasn't too far behind. He got to about half way where we were supposed to be and waite until I caught up and started walking again. When we got to out standing point, I was standing with another girl in my class and him and one of his friends stood by us. Then, HE STARTED TALKING TO THE GIRL I WAS WITH. This really made me made so I left and started talking to other people. I don't know if I was jealous or what but now I don't feel like tlaking to that girl at all. What am I supposed to do?

Maybe he DOES like you but was too shy to talk to you. I've been in the situation like that. I'll talk to the people they're with then maybe that person will also jump into the conversation. Anyways, don't be mad at that girl. She might not even like him in the way that you like him. Maybe you could even ask her "Hey, what do you think of so-and-so?" and see what happens. Maybe she'll talk to him for you. If not, you can always just talk to him yourself and get to know him. Good luck with whatever.

Okay, well my name is Beccah and i really like this boy named Alex and in the 6th grade he had a girfriend named Jen and he had liked her since the 2nd grade and she finally started liking him in the 6th grade and he asked her out and they went out for about 5 months and then he dumped her and a few months later is when i started liking him and he was such a jerk to me and then in the 7th grade we became really good friends and i was finally over him for a good 5 months or so and in that period of time he went on and off liking me and then towards the end of the year i started liking him again and he liked me too and we would kiss and hug but he never asked me out and he was never my "boyfriend" and the last day of school we made it clear that we didnt want to go out over summer and we would see what would happen between us when school starts again and over the summer its really easy for me to concentrate on other things.. seeing how i travel a lot and i do summer basketball and im always with my friends, but now that school is starting and we have 3 classes together and because our lockers are close its going to be hard for me to get my mind off him. I already know that he doesnt like me anymore he made it clear and he says that i should get over him because there is better guys out there for me and hes not the one. I need advice.. should i continue liking him and see if everything i've done in the past was worth waiting for? or should i just try to stop thinking about him and try to find someone else for me? I'm graduating this year and after this, there is a good chance i wont see him anyways. But i just really want to be with him. Everyone tells me that hes not over Jen yet and she never really got over him either and i see it too.. Urghh i just need help.

Yea, it might be tough keeping your mind off of him this year, since he'll be around a lot. If he's told you that he's not the one for you, then the best thing to do is to move on. And if you see that he's not over Jen, then yea... move on. In the mean time, I'd say... still be friends with him. I don't think having him as a friend would hurt. Just remember that he's not into you and he still might be into Jen. One of these days a guy will come around that you'll like and he'll like you for you. Just be patient.

Smack was a really good book about kids living in England I believe. It deals with teenagers, "punks", squatting, and a bunch of other stuff. Unfortunately I didn't finish it because I didn't have the time. I read more than half of it and I enjoyed it. One of these days I plan on checking it back out and finishing it.

Get out of the house and go do something fun with your friends. Create some memories and when you think about Cape Cod, just remember all the fun you've been having at home in Vegas with your friends. Good luck!

ok well, im going out with this guy named james and i really like him. but lately whenever we talk on the phone its really boring and he is really prude so it sucks. so these two guys like me named john and nick. and they think i should break up with him becasue they dont think he is going to change and they think i desurve more. so john asked me if i thought going to a dance with someone im not going out with would be considered cheating. and i said no so he asked me to the dance. and i said yes. so now i dont know if my bf will be mad at me or not. should i break up with him? should i tell him about the dance? what should i do? I would figure out what it is you really like about this James guy. It sounds to me, that you can do better than him. And maybe one of these other guys likes you. Go to the dance with this other guy and see what happens. If you're not having fun with James, I would say break it off. There are many other guys out there (including John and Nick). Good luck!

Hey, I'm the same way! Lol. I guess I agree.. you have to build up some arm muscle. Try lifting weights. You can buy some at like, a sporting goods store. Or go to your local gym, I'm sure they have them. Good luck!

No, you won't look stupid. If you're up for it, he's up for it, and your mom approves, go for it. Just make sure he's not like, freaky, or a stalkerish creep or anything. If you've talked to him, and he's someone you're willing to get to know, go for it. Ask your mom what he's like, what he looks like, etc. But probably, just to stay on the safe side... I'd meet somewhere in public like at a local hangout. Somewhere where theres people around. Good luck.

Why don't you want to break up with him? Is it the fact that you love the feeling you get when he doesn't call you back? The fact that you guys rarely hang out? First off, think about why you really like him. And they should be good reasons, not just because "he's hott". And then talk to him about how you feel. And don't always wait around for him to call you so that you two can hang out. You should call too. You can't just get your boyfriend to like you more. He's gotta like you for you. If he doesn't, then its not worth it. Hope I helped.

I've used Crest Whitening strips and they work good. Get the premium ones. It only takes a week whereas the regular ones take 2 weeks. And you just put the strips on twice a day, for 7 days. Good luck!

this girl who i used to be tight with is sleeping over tomorro night because her mom asked her to as a favor for her. thing is, we arent close anymore..shes into drugs drinking and doing things with guys..and im not so much into that.

You guys might not be as close anymore, and you might have plans with your friends. But the considerate thing to do, would be to cancel with your friends and stay at home/hang out with her. If you don't feel comfortable enough to bring her along with your friends, stay home and hang out or just you two go out. Rescedule hanging out with your friends after she leaves. You may have had plans with your friends, but you should put your guest first. If I was her, I would find it very rude to just go off and leave me hanging at your house... good luck, and have fun!

You shouldn't promise something like that. Things change, people change, feelings change. If you feel like the whole long distance thing isn't working, then its best to talk about it, and call it off if need be. You don't want to hold on to this relationship if you're not liking it and if he's too far. Now as far as this other kid goes, if you think its a good idea, give it a shot. Good luck with everything. This may not be the answer you're looking for, but maybe you have to take the initiative and be a little more outgoing. Thats what I always do. I, myself am a bit shy around new people, or whatever. But when I'm placed with another shy person, I always step up first and make it less awkward, by making conversation and asking them questions they'll have to answer (avoid yes or no questions). Find out what he likes, and make conversation about that. Good luck!
