I keep reading about how raisins are so healthy and raisins help you lose water weight and blah blah blah but what about grapes. I never hear about grapes other than there healthy...duh there a fruit. Are grapes not good diet foods? Cause I really dont like raisins but I love grapes.
Raisins are just dried grapes. They tend to have a higher sugar concentration than fresh grapes, and they have less vitamin C. Fresh grapes are better for you. View Question
do you know how to make your myspace private? if not can you find out because i cant and i have to!
thanks
On the top right corner of any MySpace page, click "My Account", then "Privacy". (Or just click this link: http://profileedit.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=accountSettings.privacy ) That should give you the option to make your profile only visible to you and your friends. View Question
There is a video I was shown in HS. I am not 100% sure, but I believe it was a documentary on the artifactual findings of this corps that they were calling Eve? That could be totally wrong. But I know the whole thing was that they were connecting all the life on the planet to this one thing that they were calling Eve. I don't know if it was a fossil finding or an idea... I'm pretty sure they went into the theory of the evolution of the races. I feel like it was called Eve or something like The First Woman or something of that nature hahaha Does anyone know what the name of it was? Thank you so much.
From the information that you gave, the woman you're referring to is Mitochondrial Eve, from whom all currently living humans' mitochondrial DNA (which is matrilineal) is inherited.
The documentary that you watched might be "The Real Eve". Here's a link to the IMDB entry: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373595/ View Question
Is it possible for a guy to cum from some sort of sexual stimulation, but not be mentally aroused/feeling what their penis is feeling?
I have been with my boyfriend of two years, and I ( a month or so ago) wanted to start experimenting in the handjob/ feeling each others' genitals department. Obviously I didn't want to do anything he didn't want to do. So I would ask him a lot if he was interested in that or whatnot, until at one point he said he would be okay with it. I always felt that it would be wrong to do something sexual he wasn't totally into, and would mention was that okay? That I want to do something you are not also really excited about doing? Too the point where maybe I was asking too much and should have just gone one way or another.
I figured, a few weeks ago, that I might as well go ahead and maybe he would end up enjoying it. While we were feeling each other up (or down?) he got kindof flushed, and he said that he felt something. He wouldn't tell me if he liked it or not, though... he said he didn't totally know.
After that I would play this dance where I would say I was worried about taking advantage of him, but then he would roll his eyes (like "you're not taking advantage of me!") and I would end up touching his penis anyway. I don't know if he's felt something since that one time.
Just today there was no one home and we both have spare so we took our shirts off and were pretty much making out... Anyway I started to give him a handjob and his penis was... well it was getting aroused, and he was touching me, too. Out of the blue he makes this totally in pain/grossed out/disgusted face and I'm like, "what?" At first I thought my vagina may be super giving out discharge, or I had hurt him somehow, but when I put my glasses on I see that he's upset because he's cummed all over his pants. "The male body is pretty gross" Was the first thing he said. Then he told me it (me feeling him up) didn't feel like anything.
My question is - since he's pretty much usually grossed out by the male sex drive/ male objectification of women, is it possible he is mentally shutting out the pleasure he's getting from anything sexual? I do know that he has the ability to shut out emotions; he's told me this. If this is the case, what should I do (should I do anything)? Is it possible that this is a situation thing, or that he will become more sexual in the future? And if I in any way get him to do something sexual that he doesn't get anything out of - is this wrong?
-- background info: We have been dating for two years and totally love each other. Even though he seems to not be aroused by my boobs or vulva, he loves kissing me - like, addicted to it, as well as holding me, cuddling, ect. We are both in gr 12 (I'm 18, he's 17) and are both virgins. Our relationship is totally satisfying for me otherwise so while this is a concern it is not a dealbreaker.
I noticed that you used "asexual" in the title of the question. Usually, when "asexual" is used to describe a person, it means that the person is not sexually attracted to anyone, and it does not necessarily imply a lack of ability to enjoy sexual activity, although most asexuals have no desire for it. Some asexual people do enjoy romantic relationships and kissing and cuddling, so keep in mind that it is not impossible for your boyfriend to be asexual but still love you.
(For more information about asexuality, go to the Asexual Visibility and Education Network. http://www.asexuality.org )
Given that you said he said "The male body is pretty gross", this might just be it. His discomfort towards his own body could be the reason why he isn't enjoying sexual activity. Talk to him about it. Be careful not to make him feel uncomfortable though.
Of course, given that he's only 17, chances are that he just isn't ready. Take it easy. Do things that you both enjoy doing, and don't pressure him. You said he enjoys kissing and cuddling, so he can still show his affection towards you. View Question
how do i make a study plan for my hsc? iv just started term three and its week 3 so we just got our results for our half yearly back.
now its time i made a study plan or at least had an idea of how to... can anyone help me write one or at least tell me how to.
im so lost but i want to get on the write track now while i have plenty of time so i dont stress out when my hsc gets closer...
Your teachers have probably already told you this, but learn your syllabus dot points!
No matter what subjects you do, your teacher should have given you an outline of your syllabus, as well as frameworks for what the different verbs (describe, discuss, evaluate, etc) mean in terms of answer structures.
You should make summaries of what you learn in class in terms of those dot points. Do this on the computer so that you can keep updating it, and add to it at the end of each week.
If you can find the time, go over the summaries with your classmates. Don't forget that your HSC marks are scaled along with those of the other candidates from your school, so you should be cooperating with your classmates. Also, explaining things to other people is a good way to learn.
On top of that, just do a few questions from past papers each week.
Towards the end of the school year when you get time off school to prepare for your exams, just do a lot of past papers. View Question
I have an insane fasination with pro wrestling.I always think about it.all my life I said I wanted to be something like a singer or lawyer, and then I'd not want to do it cuz i thought it wasn't for me.But all of a sudden I wanted to be a pro wrestler and no matter what I still feel like it is what i'm meant to do with my life. Am I destined to be a pro wrestler?
Whether you believe in destiny or not, remember, success does not come without hard work.
If you think that pro wrestling is what you want to do, go for it. First of all, do some research on the topic and make sure you know what you're getting into, then get started if you're sure it's right for you. View Question
well, my computer had a virus and we got it all fixed. and well i had to re-install the sims 2 if i wanted to play it. and i tried but, the screen won't pop-up and when i tried to do the auto run thing, it says that the file is missing. can someone please help?
Uninstall it again, and manually delete all the files and registry entries before reinstalling.

i have an alright body.
i just want more muscle on the back of my thighs
and on my arms.
any ideas ?
im willing to do almost anything.
and if you could . . .
tell me something i could just do at home with out having to go to the gym and stuff.
thank you. :)
For your arms, lift weights. Just use big bottles of water as weights if you don't have proper ones.
As for your thighs, walking or cycling would really help.
Swimming will help develop muscle in both areas. View Question
I'm a 17 year old girl and for a few years now I've been bi-curious. I very recently got out of a relationship with a boyfriend and through the 16 months i was with him i told him and he fully accepted it. Mostly to the hope it would some day lead to a threesome. I thought that if i was seriously interested in women that i would just know, but recently i just don't understand what i'm going through.
For the past few years I've been wondering if i was bisexual because I was, and still am sexually attracted to men and women. I just could never imagine myself in a relationship with another woman. When i was with my ex boyfriend, because i was so in love with him it never occurred to me to be with another woman but since we've broken up, i just feel like, i could be with a girl or a guy but I just don't know.
Do you just...know when your bi? Can i just become bi? Is it something your just born with? Help?
Sexual orientation refers to the gender(s) to which one is attracted, so if you experience attraction to both men and women, it would make sense to say that you are bisexual.
Keep in mind that being bisexual does not necessarily mean that you are equally attracted to both genders. Some bisexuals might prefer one gender more, but still experience attraction to the other.
Also, attraction does not necessarily equate to desire to act on it.
Like all other sexualities, there is no known cause that the majority of the scientific community agrees on. Likewise, there is no proven way of changing one's orientation.
There's no rush to label yourself. If you aren't sure, you don't have to be. Just don't deny your own feelings. View Question

I'm starting to do some scrapbooking and I have a few movie ticket stubs and concert tickets I would like to put in my scrapbook. How can I stop the ink from the tickets fading? I was thinking of covering them with sticky tape to sort of laminate them but then you don't get the same feeling of the ticket paper.
Some of my tickets have already faded a lot; is there anyway to make the ink more visible?
Thank you in advance.
Stores that do printing often offer laminating services too. For tickets, it shouldn't cost more than a dollar each. Still more expensive than using tape, but still cheaper than getting a laminator unless you have lots of tickets to laminate.
Similarly, there are places that do scanning if you don't have your own scanner. Look in the Yellow Pages for local services.
Can't help with the ink though. Ink fades because the pigments break down. Once they're gone, they're gone. View Question
i've heard that when you have a nightmare its because there's a spirit sitting on top of your chest, and thats why you get up feeling like you cant breathe.. is that true? i've also heard that if you put a cup of water under your bed in the center, it'll drown all the nightmares.
To date, there is no conclusive proof that would prove the existence of such spirits.
Similarly, there is no proof for the idea that a cup of water under the bed will drown nightmares. Go ahead and do it anyway if it makes you feel any better.
Dreams (good or bad) are caused by brain activity. Contents of one's dreams might be related to one's thoughts, but there is no sure way to control the dreams.
The best you can do to avoid nightmares is to take some time to relax before going to bed.
This should be obvious, but it is also important to make sure you're sleeping comfortably. Don't eat right before going to bed. View Question

My friend is having her 16th birthday. Since shes sorta childish, I thought it would be fun and silly to do child games despite our age. What kind of games would you consider for us to play? There are going to be about 12 but we can always split into groups and so on. I already have Pin the Tail on the Donkey and Musical Chairs. Any other ideas?
If you can go outdoors during the party, games like ball games, frisbee, jumping rope or hopscotch would be obvious choices.
As for games that work well indoors, board games or playing cards would be the easiest. Video games would be great too if you have any. (Old video games from when you were actually little, maybe?)
Also, how about a dressing up game? I mean little girls' kind of dressing up game as opposed to dressing up properly. It can be fun if you have the right clothes for it to work.
If you want to be creative, go for painting or doodling competitions. View Question
so all the music on my old ipod is not on my computer because it is my friend's and i do not speak to the friend anymore, so the only place i have it is on that ipod. i do not have itunes or any music of my own. i just got a new ipod and i want to get all of a DIFFERENT friend's music on it, but i want the music from my old ipod too. is there any possible way to get my old music and my new friend's music on my new ipod??
Apple has a guide for you to get the music from your iPod to a computer. Here's the link: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300173
Once you have the music on a computer, copy it to the new iPod. View Question
Okay, I think I'm about to cry.
My computer recently crashed, and like a normal teenage girl this means that my iTunes has crashed as well. That means, none of my music is on my computer.
Now this has happened before. In which case a friend of mine directed me here:
http://www.kennettnet.co.uk/musicrescue/
And I downloaded this, got my music back, deleted it from my computer, etc.
This here is a new computer, a different IP, and I downloaded it again just fine. So its not that. Its, when I tried to hook my iPod back into the thing and get my music back, it decided to hate on me. It stops on one song for like an hour, and so I cancel the download (which is "Not Responding" at this point), go back in, take the song off the list, and start again. Oops, now its stopping at a different song!
Gosh, all I want is my music back. That's 500+ songs, one movie and two TV shows, only 100 songs are purchased (and, whoop-dee-do, I'm not allowed to get my purchases back either because iTunes says my computer isn't set up for that?).
I've been sitting here for hours, swearing my head off and just TRYING TO GET MY MUSIC BACK ON THIS COMPUTER.
I ask, please, can anyone help me? I know that this hasn't just happened to me, right?

It's the name of an anime. The literal translation of the phrase would be "new century pervert legend". As the name suggests, is an adult anime with sexually explicit content. View Question
I have over 800 files on my iPod, and recently got a new laptop. I'm curious if there is any possible way I can get all my files from my desktop computer (where my current itunes library is) to my new computer, without starting over and downloading all 800+ songs again. Is anyone 100% sure of a way to do it? I tried something from ehow.com and it did NOT work...thanks in advance for any help you can offer me!

People have always told me my whole life I was thin/ skinny/ had a great body.. etc. I was dating this guy and he was a real jerk and made me really insecure about my weight. He told me I wasnt as skinny as most girls he goes for and when I lost 10 lbs from the mono he gave me, he told me how much better I looked and how I shouldnt gain my weight back. That was summer, I've gained my weight back now. I don't know if it's because of him or what but I'm really insecure about my weight now. Is 113, c cup, and 5'5 normal? I swear I have a little fat on my stomach. It's sick. Do you know of any exercises I can do that target the lower stomach?(Crunches don't help!)
Yes, your size is definitely normal. I would agree with the people who told you that you're thin. Don't listen to your boyfriend. (Why are you still dating a guy whom you consider a "real jerk" anyway?)
Some people naturally have some fat on the stomach even if they aren't overweight. When you exercise, you strengthen the muscles that you exercise, but when you lose body fat, you can't control where it comes off.
That said, speaking from personal experience, not sitting down right after meals does seem to help so maybe you can try that. View Question
my friend just bought this program thing from the internet called "Weight Loss Breeze" apparently its a bunch of breathing excersizes that like train the way you breathe every day. it somehow increases your metabolism. has anybody purchased this? does it work? she said shed let me do them with her and i didnt know if it would be a waiste of time or not. im just wondering if this really works and has helped anybody lose weight?
Quoted from the Weight Loss Breeze website itself:
"I realized that the exercises that helped my clients lose weight did so by bringing more oxygen into the body."
This sounds dubious. Assuming that you don't have lung problems, normal breathing should provide the body with as much oxygen as the blood can carry anyway.
Extra oxygen will not speed up your metabolism. Your metabolism only speeds up when it needs to. (For example, when you're exercising.) When your metabolism is speeding up, you do need more oxygen, but you'll naturally breathe faster at those times.
There is of course a limit to how hard your lungs (and your heart) can work, but if you exercise a lot, your heart and your lungs will become stronger. (This is why a couch potato can get out of breath walking up a short flight of stairs but an athlete can do a lot more exercise than that and still be fine.)
Based on that, I highly doubt that the Weight Loss Breeze program will work. If your friend has already bought it, let her try it. It probably won't cause any harm, but if it actually works, I'll be surprised.
Do keep in mind that someone who is actually trying to lose weight will probably also be doing other things that help weight loss, so unless your friend started the program without changing her diet or physical activity level, you can't really know for sure that it actually made a difference.
