Q: How do you use mousse?

I know you're probably thinking I'm the dumbest person on the face of the earth but seriously. I have no idea. I just bought it the other day, and I got the shampoo that matches it. Its Herbal Essences Dangerously straight- Pin Straight Mousse. The bottle says: shake me. foam me. work me through wet hair. blow-dry small sections with a "finger" diffuser and low hair dryer heat. hands off though.

So, can you help me out here. I'll rate high.
Thanks!
First, take a shower or put your hair into the faucet. It depends on what you like. Then, when doing your hairstyle, you press down on the top. A white foam will come out, and you can use that to hold you hair in a place where you want it to stay. Then, you take a hairdrier and blowdry your hair in small sections, as to not lose the molding you already made.

Q: I am a 16- years old, I got a event that takes place soon. I need to tone my stomach and mi chest. The event takes place in a month and two weeks. Can someone plz help me? Mi breast aren't saggy but I don't like em, they are to low, can someone help me to do something to help me. please help. thanks
Crunches tend to work best for the abs, but general exercise can help them too. Dieting also may help, for if there is less fat, the abs are clearer. The breasts, there really isn't much you can do about them in control manner. They wil become firm with diet and exercise, but if they are just low, I do not really know. A push up bra may be beneficial. But diet is also beneficial.

Q: is it true that if you wax all the time that eventually your hair will stop growing?
Nope. Generally, unless you kill the living hair cells (Inside of your leg, not the visible ones), it will keep on growing back.

Q: Hello,
I was just browsing through all the columnists using a search engine and after reading some of your answers, you seem pretty rational. I am not asking a "specific" question per se. I would just like some input on this. Ok, now, there are all kinds of websites that tell you how to tell if someone is flirting with you or if they like you, but, what I would like to know is, how can you tell if a friends husband is attracted to you? They have to be more discreet about it if they are into you, naturally, because they are married and can't be open about it. So, are there any signs I should be aware of? Sometimes, I am not sure if it is flirting or just being friendly. Thanks in advance for any input.
Well, you definately want to see how much he talks to you to start off with. If he doesn't talk much to you, he definatetly is not flirting. The second sign to look for is how he talks. Is he teasing you, or being serious? Check his voice tones, and his actions. The less serious he is, the more likely he is flirting. Check for signs of nervousness. Shaky hands, shifty eyes, not being able to look you in the face (Or staring at you), etc. are usually signs of flirting. But one thing to be on the lookout for is when you are somewhere else. If he is looking at you, and you turn your head and he turns his, it is probably a flirt.

Q: im 13/f. I really like this kid. We went out before but we broke up because he thought we need to take a break. Its the summer and I still can not get my mind off of him. I told him how I felt but he blew it off like he didn't care. What should I do to try to get over him?
Generally, the best thing to do is find someone else, even if you don't want anyone but him anyways. Just go to another guy, and get into a small relationship, even if it is just friends. It tends to work for a bit.

Q: What is the difference between climaxing and having an orgasm for a guy?
Actually, the orgasm is DEFINED as the climax. Orgasm- The climax of a sexual experance, according to a dictionary I once read.

Q: in the music video 'i write sins not tragedies' by panic! at the disco, what is the guy's name who plays the groom???
Daniel Isaac.

Q: How much alcohol is too much? How do you know if you have been drinking too much (at one time) and if you are at serious risk of causing harm to yourself? And, what does vodka normally get mixed with?
Generally, .08 is too much, and will make you drunk. Yet, some serious harm comes at .20, which is around 6 or 7 12 oz. cans of beer, 5 oz. wine, or 1 oz. liquer. .30 usually leads to death to the unexperianced drinker.
I don't know the answer to the last question. I apologize.

Q: Well, about 4 minutes ago, all of a sudden I got a sharp pain in my stomach, & now it is still there. If I touch my stomach it gets worse. It's not like a pukey kind of pain, its like someone shot it. It hurts so bad. I have two questions:
1. What would be the cause of this?

2. How can I get rid of it? FAST!
If it is the lower part of the stomach, I have felt it. It does hurt to touch it. It feels like you are going to faint any minute, right? Yeah, that is generally for me a sign that I have held in a trip to the bathroom for too long. It usually will take a few trips there, and time. I don't know how long, but it will take time.
If it does not go away in an hour, call the hospital.

Q: so last night i got really drunk and cheated on my bf and i cant even remember what the guy looked like (i hope he wasnt ugly lol) but the problem is i dont feel guilty about it at all and i know thats not normal..so does this mean i should mabey reconsider the relationship i have right now with my boyrfriend?
I would reconsider it. If it was just plain cheating while you were drunk, it would have been a mistake from being drunk. However, the lack of guilt makes it seem that you didn't like him to begin with. I would reconsider it, but reconsider it with him.

Q: heyy im actually another columnist & i was reading your side thingy & i saw that you said you had ocd. i know this is probably really weird, but i have it, sort've badly, & i never met anyone that had it like me er had it at all. i was wondering if you really did have it er not?? you're probably thinking "wow she's a weirdo" but i was juss curious because i never met someone that did & i always felt kind've outve the loop since i do have it.

thankss!!
It is not diagnosed, no. However, I have pretty much most of the symptoms. It would be a minor form. I do not obsess too terribly over my hands being washed, those are usually just for a minute or so... However, when I try to lie about something, or scheme something, I need to take soooo many steps in order to make sure it will happen perfectly. I also have a big thing on evenness, and if I end 5 steps in the sidewalk on my left foot, 5 must be ended on my right. Everything must be parrellel for me to be happy. So, I definately have it, just not diagnosed.

Q: ok today was my 1st day at driver tranning and we had a road drive already, and i really need to inprove my turning. Any tips??
In drivers training, everyone stumbles in turning. I would advise you to not worry about it yet. Always make sure you have your blinkers on, and turn the weel enough such that you can make it around the corner. You also need to check every way known to man. but, you'll do fine. The 2nd day is where you start to get the hand of it.

Q: For my summer reading I have to read "To Kill a Mockingbird." I was wondering that if you have read it, what was it about, and did you enjoy it? Thank you very much.
I did. It was about two kids, who were young at the time, who made many assumptions without knowing the full facts. Their dad was an attorney who was the epitome of a perfect person, and warns them about this. As time goes on, they learn that not everybody is as bad as they think they are, and learn how their own judgements have caused them to become like a bigot. Meanwhile, there is a second story of a black man who is accused of raping another girl. However, it is proven impossible, yet the jury still finds him guilty. He serves as the foil for the two kids.
I didn't enjoy it initially, but it has a lot of morals in it. You would need to read it to get the entire story, though.

Q: This is kind of random but do you think that when someone losses thier virginity they should tell thier parents?
It depends on the need and the expected reaction of the parents. If you think they would flip, it is not worth it, unless you are pregnant or have an STD. Yet, if you just lost it and have no reason to tell them, don't. It would do more harm than good if there was no reason.

Q: How do you become an experienced columnist in the browse columnist section? I rate high
A total of 100 question will earn that for you... Though, it still sorts in the last update time, so if you haven't updated in a while, you won't appear on the first page.

Q: If it is you and your partners first time having sex ever, is it even possible for one of you to get an std from the partner?
You can get one if he uses drugs, or if he was born from a parent who has an STD. I do not believe there is any other way it is possible.

Q: What would happen if someone like 15 that hasn't had their period yet has sex? It's not me, I'm just wondering.
Besides the possibility of STDs and all the other risks that come with sex, you can still get pregnant. You will not have the right amount of hormones either, so it will not be as pleasureful as it could be.

Q: 13/f
well i used to masterbate but i dont anymore... i haven't started my period yet
could this of affeceted it? please help
It does not affect it at all. It is probably just a thing of young age.

Q: Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone can give me some good vacation ideas? OK, we live in Latrobe, Pa. We only want to go for a weekend. It will be me, my husband & our 2 kids, (3 & 6). We would like it to be somewhat cheap & close by. Even in the Ohio, West Virginia range would be fine. As long as it is in driving distance. So, if anyone had any experiences with any place fun & inexpensive or has any ideas in general it would be greatly appriciated. We can also go to places offering military discounts. Thankyou.
I personally loved Manasquan beach, NJ. It is great for younger kids, and it is also fun for the two of you. It was my first vacation, actually. It was cheap, and very closeby where we live (Central NJ). You could easily go for a weekend if you wanted to.

Q: ok so im in the process of writting a couple of songs, and when im done im gonna want to put them up on a music myspace. im not a particulatly good singer and dont plan on starting an actual band, but i want to claim the songs as my own. i was wondering what i would have to go through to get a simple copyright so noone could steal my lyrics.
With copyrights, you will own a copywrite the second the song is written, assuming that you wrote the song in no violation of other people's works. However, you need to register the copywrite if somebody DOES steal your song, and that will require money. Yet, the copywrite by itself is good. If you want to say it is copywrite before the song lyrics are posted, I would do that.

THE PENGUIN RULES ALL! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! *Cough*
Hello! My name is Steven, and I am a mentor. Yes, that does mean that I help other people. I have helped over 1000 people to date, and have helped some individuals for over 1/2 a year. The miracle of my life occurred 17 years ago. I say miracle only because 1/4 babies survive to be born.
I am the first born of 2 children, and I am also the black sheep. I listen to Classical Music, so you can call me a weirdo. :P. I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, so take no offense if my answers never seem to end.
In school, I get As and Bs. More Bs really. I play trombone, and was the section leader of the trombones at my school. This year, I am the captain of the entire brass section. I am an Eagle Scout, so I guess that says I'm persistant? You make the call. I am a 3 time varsity letter winner, looking for a 4th next winter. I also participate in the musical, where I am a Bass 2. :)
I am straight, and have never had a relationship beyond a friend. However, I have survived the bumps in the road, and can advise you if you wish it. Though, it's not my strength.
I'm here for you, and only you. That means that my advise will not always confort you. Heck, it may even scare you. Yet, I want you to do what is best for your mind. Not what is typically seen as best for you, but what YOU see best for YOU. Heck, if you wanted what was seen as best for you, you would've asked your parents what you should do. They give you what's typically best.
Alright, before I start getting tendinitis from writing that over and over again, I'll just say what I mean. I mean that if you ask me about something, let's say walking 10 miles a day, and I think it's rediculous, yet you are asking for something to do, I am NOT going to say "10 miles is the type of a thing a anorexia athletica would do. Try 5." I'll give you something to do.
Oh, and I'm a L1 moderator, which means I rate questions.

Don't hesitate to IM me, I'm usually on. If I'm not, just drop one in the Inbox!

Oh, by the way, I am liberal in everything. That means that abortion is a woman's RIGHT, and gay marriage should be LEGAL.

Ask away!
-Steven
