im 13/f. I really like this kid. We went out before but we broke up because he thought we need to take a break. Its the summer and I still can not get my mind off of him. I told him how I felt but he blew it off like he didn't care. What should I do to try to get over him?

Generally, the best thing to do is find someone else, even if you don't want anyone but him anyways. Just go to another guy, and get into a small relationship, even if it is just friends. It tends to work for a bit.

Ok, if you're srue he isn't intrested anymore, then you should not keep trying, that just scares guys off. If you are just natural and cool around him then he'd be less threatend and more likely to become more intrested again.
However...you're much too valuable to just wait around for some loser to like you again. So here are some tips on getting over him.
Stay active. Make plans with your friends and have fun! If you are busy and distracted then you will think about him less, and eventually get over him.
You should also keep in mind that there are more fish in the sea. I'm not saying go out and get a new boyfriend just for the heck of it, but notice other guys. It will help you to remember that's he's not the center of the universe.
If you still can't get over him, then remember this: You are thirteen. I don't feel like middle school relationships are all that special. You will have plenty of oppurtunity to date other people. xoxo!
