Well, about 4 minutes ago, all of a sudden I got a sharp pain in my stomach, & now it is still there. If I touch my stomach it gets worse. It's not like a pukey kind of pain, its like someone shot it. It hurts so bad. I have two questions:
1. What would be the cause of this?
BLONDShorty answered Thursday June 15 2006, 9:22 pm: its prolly gas. that happends to me to. i noe, its a super sharp pain and it feels as if it were something worse.... but its prolly just gas. get down on ur hands and knees and rock back and fourth. lol. i noe it sounds really weird but it really works. it's one of those like crazy remidies that works! i noe because i like live with those pains with all the gas i get but it always works and also, drink a little bit of sprite if you have. it will help push the gas out. i hope i helped
xxoBriannax answered Thursday June 15 2006, 8:28 pm: It's either gas or acid. Were you drinking alot of soda or maybe an energy drink? Or something high in acid. Try to eat some bread to soke up the acid (if it is acid). For gas, you can't really do anything. Lay down for a while. Fortuantly, it will pass, in disgusting ways, lol. sbloemeke answered Thursday June 15 2006, 8:15 pm: If it is the lower part of the stomach, I have felt it. It does hurt to touch it. It feels like you are going to faint any minute, right? Yeah, that is generally for me a sign that I have held in a trip to the bathroom for too long. It usually will take a few trips there, and time. I don't know how long, but it will take time.
If it does not go away in an hour, call the hospital. [ sbloemeke's advice column | Ask sbloemeke A Question ]
xxsima answered Thursday June 15 2006, 7:53 pm: You can try taking some Aspirin or Motrin. If that doesn't help, try going to the bathroom. If you can't, what I think that works is drinking tea and waiting for a couple of minutes, that usually makes me go to the bathroom. :] If you haven't had a bowel movement within 24 hours, it might be because a lot of fluids are in your stomach.
XXXtaco answered Thursday June 15 2006, 7:36 pm: If its a stabbing pain off the the side, it might very well be your appendix. Thats the kind of theing you go to the doctor about. For the moment, take some aspirin or something and see if it persists. If it does, then just go straight to a doctor. [ XXXtaco's advice column | Ask XXXtaco A Question ]
