this question is for both boys and girls.Let;s say you really like someone, and she/he is single.Would you still go out with them even though they have had two or three girl/boy friends in the past?or do people prefer girls/guys that haven't been attached before?
For instance, I prefer girls who haven't had a boyfriend before to girls who have.
doesnt matter for me , as long as they arent sluts or something. That jus shows that a lot of ppl saw the samething in that person that you see.
15/f Hi. I was wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions for after school jobs. I really need the money to save up to buy a car when I am 16 (about 6-7 months)
I'll be starting school in a few weeks and I want to plan ahead, maybe even start in the end of the summer.
The only problem is that I am 15.
Any good ideas? As many as possible would be great.
grocery stores hire at 15, and there are a lot of grocery stores, when you go to a store try to see if any people are doing something thats a part time job,such as takin the carts out of the parking lot and restocking supplies, and those kinds of jobs a lot of stores will hire at 15. Dont worry im tryin to get one myself at grocery store
On MySpace, I want to add pictures, but I can't, because all the picture files are too large. (The size limit is 600k.) MySpace offered a resizing program (Irfanview) to download for free. I did download it, but I'm having trouble learning how to use it, and how to resize my files. Can someone help me with this?
why dont u jus make the picture smaller on word or paint, save it , than upload it
ok so i wanna lose some weight. im not really fat or anything. im not even fat. but i got some extra meat on the stomach i wanna lose. and i was wonderign if anyone knew a good eating scheuld. like 6 small meals a day ( w. examples) or just eat 3 main meals a day.. something like that. i already have the workout part down becuase i play alotta sports. but .. help and ill be sure to ratee
if you play a lot of sports than eat more meals or maybe 3 meals and than snacks in between like fruit or chewy bars. Nothing unhealthy obviously.
First off, Im 13 years old girl and I play lacrosse. It requires alot of running and I have asthma. I dont have it very bad, but the inhaler seems to help. Anyways, im not very good at running. Its very annoying, because in this sport you must run long distances, and you have to run fast. Im not sure if its asthma or if its because im out of shape. Im not fat or anything, normal size, but im not very flexible and my personal fitness teacher said that if your not very flexible and you cant run a mile in under 11 min. that your out of shape. I took 15:30 on my mile and a BOYS average on flexibility. I am pretty good at sports though and I dont feel out of shape at all.
wwe have a kid on our guys team who is unbelievably faast, but avg i would say on long distance. A lot of short distance fast runners are not good at all in long distance and i have a couple friends like that. I would jus practice on the mile trying to get ATLEASt and 8 minute mile and who cares about flexibility LOL , Its all about proving ppl wrong and making them look dumb. Also if you are good at short distance fast . Try playing Attack or D or do face offs on mid than come off.
OK so tomorrow i have lacrosse tryouts, and i know i probably won't make it, but i still will probably get my hopes up too high by the time i try out...is there any way i could make it so im not so disappointed if i dont make it? It'll also make it WAY better if i DO make it if I'm not expecting it hehe
Easy, make the team. A lot of teams want people to be athletic and hustle. If you hustle and never give up on a groundball or catch than you could make it. Think about it if you fight hard for a groundball and both of you guys are struggling to pick it up than you are making the other guy look bad or making you guys look like its a good competition right there. Ya if you dont have the stick make sure you hustle or visa versa but better to be athletic. important thing is dont give up and always MOVE around
I play Lacrosse and I ahve been for like 5 years. I'm pretty good, but I'm not really anything special. Well, my running isn't all that great, and I'd like to improve on my footwork (I mainly play defense, and I have to keep pace, and outrun the other girl).
Are there any drills or things to practice in order to help my cardio and muscles for running, improve my footwork and work on any other Lacrosse skills?
I know it's a general question, but I'd really like to do better. My coach isn't all that great so I feel like even if I do well at practice I'm not doing enough.
Anyone can answer, but I'd prefer if it were runners or Lacrosse players.

tredmills and bikes dont improve your footwork at all. Footwork is for dodging not for running..... Running outside is better because in a game you are not going to run in air condition. do jump rope, lay down a line or something straight and jump back and forth over it. Do atleast a minute or 30 seconds for each

ha ya theyre fun and sometimes its fun to do a funny shot in a game, but you could combine all those things. Catch on the sidewall instead of otherside obviously, see how many times you can hit it off the side of the stick and head of stick, try to hit off the rubber end. indian pick up , theres a lot u can do when you are creative like obviously throw behind the back or throw it by your side while your stick is upside down which is hard to explain. Jus message me and i can help you out more.
im 13,about 5'5, and i weight 184 pounds.i know i am much over weight.im not exactly sure how much i should weight.
before i go back to school, i want to have lost a good amount of weight(i go back to school around the end of august).what are some workout plans, without using any machines, that will help me?i want something high intensity, something that will deffinetly give me good results.
also, does anyone have experiance with the Cross Crunch Abdominal Exerciser, or the Zone Pilates?do these really work?i am interested in buying either one or both of these, but i was wondering if they really do work.would they help me loose weight?what other things help like that, but dont cost too much?my friend reccommended a yoga or workout ball.dothose help?

Do not eat before you go to sleep , eat healthy. K now do this, no one sais it will be easy , but the hotter the better. Wear Sweatpants, you kno with that heavy fabric. Run with them on for atleast a mile at minimum, try to go longer. You will lose that extra water weight but gain some of it back due to hydration. WORK AS HARD AS YOU CAN, the less you work , the smaller the results. Those ab machines help you gain abs, not lose weight. try to jump rope for a minute or more, but dont limit yourself. Good Luck and tell me if you tried what i suggested.

i want to lose extra fat from my lower stomach and upper thighs because the rest of my body is pretty toned except for those areas and it drives me crazyyy. lol so i figures i could on my tredmill about 3-5 days a week and ate a little healthier it would help (along with daily activity). k so 3 questions. 1 do you think that would work..2 about how long should i run on the tredmill..and 3 what type of foods should i eat(specifically)

Eat Fruits (any kind is good), none of those stouffhers meals that are saturated with fats and calories. Don't forget about the meat which gives you those proteins :), CARBS are not only scrumpchious but good before your workout such as rolls, noodles , spaghetti. But try to keep with the weat bread. Do not let a fun time with friends make you tempted in eating something unhealthy. The more you work out , the more you can eat, obviously healthy of course. Do lunges, and try to jump as high as you can for about 30 seconds , and jump rope.
well im 14 and want to get physically fit this summer. its not that im over weight. actually im underweight and dont want to do anything that will make me loose weight or cost me money.
are there and at home things u can do to get your legs stronger and your arms stronger. i cant even do a push up.

Yep but they may be painful, do bridges (Remain in the push up position but keep your elbow to hands on the ground supporting your weight with only that part of the arm and your feet, and hold it for ATLEAST 30 seconds. Jump as high as you can for about 15 times. Jump Rope helps a whole lot. Start with a minute than work your way up. Don't limit yourself on how long to do things.
What are some easy ab work outs that I can do to make my stomache defined.. er.. haha so i can get abs. Or a flat stomache?
Bridges , they hurt like crazy after a minute. Do them in intervals of ATLEAST 30 seconds , try to go longer. If you do not know what a bridge is , than its when you get almost in the push up position but you have your elbow to your hands on the ground in the push up positon and hold it.
mkay. i'm trying to lose weight over the summer. like 10-15 pounds. and what im trying to do everydayis eat a salad for lunch not too much crap for dinner and a 90 calorie chewy bar for breakfast or 100calorie yogurt for breakfast. and then everyday im trying to do a lot of situps and 50 pushups and im trying to go for a bike ride everyday. now its rly hard for me to do all this. the situps/pushups i can do; the bike ride i cant do a lot because i travel so much in the summer and the eating right is SO hard for me because i love to eat but im rly trying..is there anything else you can suggest for me to do to lose weight this summer and it has to be something i can do anywhere (even out of the country; however when i go to spain there is a gym in at least one of the hotels so i'm good there ill just go to the gym) please and thanks.
Ehhhh depends , cause Shaq eats a whole bunch yet burns a lot of it by playing basketball and being active because some one of his size needs to eat a lot for the energy. In the morning, as told by everyone you do not want to limit your breakfast to a yogurt. Get some toast in your diet for the carbs before workouts, and some protein source. A banana a day. Push ups is for muscle in arms, not for losing weight. You can easily run any where you go, swim as in doing laps. Lunges which help the thighs, and this other exercise that will make you think it is easy at first but gets harder. Jump in place as high as you can and bring your feat up real high. I really want to gain weight, but the right way.
I don't want to sit all day and eat cheeseburgers to gain weight. And I wanna gain 15 pounds by august 26th. Any thing I can eat that is good for me that I could gain weight off of. Or any like things i could do.

Easy, Work out to build muscle. Don't feel bad if you are not able to gain a lot because for some people it is harder to gain weight than others, but jus gain some extra muscle, but if you are a girl than try to get muscle all around the body instead of having bulging bisceps
Can you get accepted to a college, and wait a year before youa ctually go?

depends if you are still studying hard between that year, because if you are not then you are most likely going to forget what you have learned. I recomend going when you graduate, so you can keep your mind fresh

In my school should I do lacrosse or track? I like them both but I'm not sure which to try out for. Can someone give me their opionon? Please don't say one is better than the other give me reasons why. Thank you!
lacrosse! very fun, and not only do you have to be athletic, its a mental game as well. If someone doesnt think its a mental game hit them upside the head. You have to actually be smart in lacrosse, and if you miss track be a middie where you run a lot. Which ever you choose, dont worry its better than baseball lol
Yall I really need help. Okay well I did track last year and then over the summer I tried to work with a really hard running team but it just didn't work out. I was good at track and it was soooo much fun and now I'm doing track for my school and I find myself skipping conditioning or not wanting to go or something of that sort.
What I'm asking is I really need motivation or a reward or something!! I have the potential to be really good but I have to get started then I'll stick with it but its just the "getting back in shape" and getting started up again since I haven't seriously ran since May. Please any ideas would be great!! I'll rate.
o i know what you mean, im like you as well. There is always something i want to do more, but no one likes something all the time they always will have some struggles continueng. You dont eat only veggies and fruits, but you eat meat, and bread, but no chips. Bread gives u teh carbs which is the energy, and meet is the protein. Two simple miles is a good start, look at an object and sprint there, then walk until you see another object, and continue.

i am in 7th grade so i have to try out for J.V.
for the try outs i have to run 6 laps around the track under 12 minutes [plus some other things but thats the hardest]. this is going to kill me! im not good at distance running. i do sprints. what if i dont make it? i live for track! is there any way i can get faster? i trying out with one of my best friends. we are the only ones trying out tomorrow becasue everyone else already did. i'm so nervous.
what can i do today till tomorrow at 3:30 to make me do better?

Well , theres not much anymore, but do not drink soda, get good rest, maybe take a 2 mile run, which can get boring but its easy. When your running do not take big breaths! Smaller breaths can come out of teh nose, and i used to think closing my eyes helped me, but then i did not know where i was going and that is kind of important, so you may want to think about something different while your runnign.
I know its not the season for track yet but I've been wondering about this for a month or two... but I'm planning on trying out for the track team this year. I'm kind of out of shape so I was wondering what are some exercises I could do to help me get in shape?

Endurance work outs, which arent the heavy weights, but doing little things consistently. such as run and place moving your arms up and down fast with 8 pounds weights. If you have a Y or work out facillity, ask them about endurance training or get a trainer and ask him what your focusing on, endurance. You certainly want endurance training over heavy lifting. O and run a fresh good small mile to two
