Can you get accepted to a college, and wait a year before youa ctually go?
is it a good idea to do that? i have heard it is a good idea, and it isnt, but i would like to know what your opinions are. thank you
muffinbutt answered Tuesday December 20 2005, 5:56 pm: A lot of colleges all you to wait a year before attending. After you get accepted, ask your college about deferring enrollment for a year. You will probably have to give a reason -- wanting to work is a good reason, for example. A college will NOT defer admission so you can enroll somewhere else for a year, though.

I recomend going when you graduate, so you can keep your mind fresh [ SULaxStryke's advice column | Ask SULaxStryke A Question ]

tasuki answered Saturday December 10 2005, 2:27 pm: No. You can wait a year, then apply and get accepted and go. But if you get accepted and then don't enroll, you have to start from square one and apply again. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]

I would strongly advise you to take one- I didn't , and I heartily regret my decision. I would also advise doing some kind of paid work, as independently as possible, as it will help you to buid the people skills which are so neccesary to enjoy university. Good luck!
