It seems I've spent many hours talking to my friends and offering advice, and as people keep coming back for it, I assume I'm not bad at it.I know what it's like to be in love, and I also know what it's like to have your heart broken. This depends on how your relationship is with him after the break up. If you're really good and close friends still, hug him. If it's kind of awkward between you two, then I wouldn't advise it.

Hmm...if you guys decided you needed space, have that space. Give it some time. One question, if you still love him, why hide it? Just say it. But...back to your orginal question. In my experience, don't try and change yourself or act liek someone you'er not. That won't make him go like "wow I really do love her". Just be yourself, no matter what you guys do. Ask him to hang out; go out together with other friends. Act like your usual self, because if he doesnt miss that, then nothing you do can make him miss you. Good luck!

Well I've been dating my boyfriend for 11 months, and we've never had this "getting sick of each other" problem. Maybe you guys just dont know each other too well. After all, 2 months isn't all that long. For any relationship to work out, there has to be a connection that's made early on. If you don't have that connection, you might "get tired of each other" and move on to someone new.
well i was listening to the radio one night and they advertised a college called "City COllege". it sounds really good because they say they provide dorms and food. i want to go there so bad but i am only 27 years old and i haven't gone through middle school yet! i applied for them and they said i was so stupid, not even they would accept me, when they'd accept people with an SAT score of like 2. what is wrong with me! i am not stupid! i haven't taken the sats yet...but city college is my hero!! i offered to pay extra money and they said they were going to close down in a month because nobody wanted to go there!!!!!! nooooooooo bebe they can't close down!! help me i even wrote them a letter pleading them not to close down!!

So here's the story....((I'm 13, almost 14, and I'm a girl))I went to Europe the summer of 2004 and i went with a group from TX and a group from Georgia. I met this guy from GA and he was so sweet and we started to go out. ((I'm from TX)) Ok and like our trip eneded after 3 weeks and we were still going out. I loved him soooo much, and when we left each other I couldn't stop crying. Two weeks after we got home I broke up with him. The reason being because it's not that I stopped loving him, but every night for 2 weeks I cried myself to sleep and I thought maybe if I break up with him I would stop hurting, but I just hurt more. And before I knew it I told him and he said that he didn't want get hurt again. And every day since then I think about how I would be different today if I never broke up with him. Do you think I'm stupid for still thinking about it?
At 13 you dont really know love, but I may be wrong, since everyone's different. But...I dont think you were stupid, because everyone makes mistakes. If you love him like you say you do, I'd try to get him back. And if he doesnt want to get back together in fear of being hurt again, I'd just become good friends...because a good frienship is the most important and rare thing on this planet.

There's not much you can do...people can't control how they feel. As long as she doesnt try to take him from you, I wouldnt worry about it. And why is she getting upset? You're dating the guy, and she's your best friend...she shouldnt be.

for about the last couple of months, i have headaches everyday and they last almost all day. i feel like fainting and i get dizzy alot. i don't have much energy and i've been loosing weight recently. when i really don't need to. i'm tired all the time. butb it's not because i'm not getting enought sleep because i sleep alot. im really scared and i told my mom and she's getting me and appointment. even my boyfriend is worried. he's the one who told me to tell someone. i was just wondering if it sounded cancerous. and if it does please tell me what kind off cancer it sounds like. im really worried. please respond fast.
I heard that the symptoms for cancer were different...so I dont think you have that. It might just be stress. I've seen that happen to some of my friends, and they told me the exact same thing. Is there anything that's making you stress? School? Family? Relationships? If one of those is yes, then it could be stress.

Getting over someone you love is hard, but it's possible. By continuously emailing him you make yourself look desperate...the guys I've been around don't find that to be an effective way to get someone back. I would say do your best to not think about the good memories, because those are what kill you in the end, and don't listen to sad or slow music when you're thinking about him...that just makes you depressed. Another thing you can do is maybe move on with someone else who's better? Hope I helped,

Well i've been dating my boyfriend for about 2 months. He has had sex before and I havent (15/f). For the past couple of days I have really been thinking if i want to do it or not. If he's as perfect as you say, he'll respect your decision and wait until you're ready...how ever long that might be. Just be honest with him and tell him you're not ready. He should understand and not pressure you to do it. Hope I helped,

I wrote a question earlier within the week asking how i should tell my best friend Jared that i really wanted to officially be with him before he went off to college. Well, i tried telling him last night in a way by asking him if he's ever thought about "us" he said ya and then i found out he's talking to a girl i cheer with. He said he wasn't sure about things with her though so i dunno if its a big deal (she is SO moody) but anyways... im kinda stuck in the situation where im not sure wht to do nxt... i would wait on him forever i love him a lot and i've known him since i was three. This one's tough...but I can relate. My best guy friend and I had this same dilema a while back. The best way you can show him your true feelings and see if he feels the same, is be direct. Ask him specificly if he sees the two of you as anything more than friends. The rest would depend on the answer. If he says he doesnt, then you can drop the subject...and if he says yes, then just go from there. And if he ends up dating this other girl, just be there for him...if he has feelings for you he'll realize them, eventually. Guys can't possibly be that blind, can they?

I've been put into that same situation before. I think you should stay with your boyfriend and let your best guy friend be your best guy friend. After all, you've been with your bf for a year...why would you all of the sudden throw that away? The feelings you and your guy friend are having are most likely lust...but you have love with your bf. I don't get to see my boyfriend all that much, but we dont let that define our relationship. Sometimes distance might be good...like they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder. So if I were in your shoes, I'd stay with the guy you love! Hope I helped,

Well, one thing you could do is play hard to get. If the guy really likes you for you, he'll wait the extra time. If he's only in for your looks, he'll give up and move onto someone who's easier. My best advice is don't be too easy, give these guys a chase!

ok...for the last day of school, before break, i wore white pants...because they were white, i work a thong...im not a slut, so i dont let it hang out, and i usually wear a belt with my pants, but these were nice pants that i didnt need a belt for...well during lunch, i was walking up to my friend and my guy friend wanted to hug me from behind, but ended up steping on my pants adn everyone saw i was wearing a thong. he didnt pants me, but some people saw the string...i know its not bad to wear thongs, but that was a pretty embarassing situation, and i didnt want everyone knowing. tommorow i go back to school, and i dont want everyone laughing at me...what do i do?
Thongs are a pretty common thing to see around school these days, so don't worry about it. I'm sure they all forgot about it already. If they didn't, just laugh with them. If they see it doesnt bother you, they'll drop the subject and move on to something else.

Yes, those feelings for your first love tend to stay with you for a very long time. I think the feelings never really fully go away either. Personaly, after you lose someone like that, I think the more time that goes by, the harder it is to forget.

Sounds like you're still a virgin, dont worry. Also, it's perfectly normal to want to experiment at your age. It doesnt necesserilly mean you're lovers...just two friends testing out something new. Now if you two continue to experiment with each other and develop feelings that are more than friendship, then yes, you might be lovers. Hope I helped.

You and your girl are close...so why does it matter that others are hitting on you? Usually people tend to go after what they cant have, in this case, you since you're not single. Love makes people blind, they say. If he didnt mean it last year, what do you think changed to make him mean it this time? I know guys like that...they say they love you to get what they want and dont nesesserilly mean it. I think you should wait and see where things go.
