Im 20 years old, I have faced many obstacles and problems that I have had to go through alone with no help and the help I recieved wasn't ever any good. I have faced women problems, friends moving, suicide, killings, deaths, car accidents, sibling rivals, fighting, weird hobbies, my best friends being raped. I have been through a little of everything and I was the one many of them turned to so I like to help out.
Hobbies: I do a lot of work in recording studios, and video/editing studios so I know film pretty well. I am a director/producer. Thats what I am in school for, to further my knowledge of set production for I am a pre production wizard. I read a lot so I have knowledge. And more.
Education: I graduated at the top 15 percent of my class in high school which was college prep, and right now im in my 3rd year od college. I have an AA degree in media arts, a 6 month screen writing certificate from NYFA. I am 11 months from my BA in FILM and HDTV, and I am a semester away from an International Business Degree.
SO if you have any questions im polite and easy to talk with and you can ask me any question you have, I will be honest no matter what.

What advice would you give a 14 year old aspiring actress who's parents don't give a damn about her dreams, who lives out in the country, and isn't the stereotype of pretty? (link)
|
The trek to becoming an actress can be a long cold one or a bright dream. At your point in life you need to start getting into the drama/theatre portion of your schooling and extra curricular activities. That is the best way to get experience, as well as look for postings online to actors and actress and well as extras and begin there. Those are quick ways to get experience that is crediable and that get you on the track in which you would like to walk down.
Chris
I do work in the industry and those are the easiest routes to get into acting.

Hey today I asked my husband to fix me 2 pop-tarts you'd think all the work involved was poppin em' in the toaster but no he puts butter on the back of them. Have yall ever heard of this? 5's for all thoughts. (link)

Oh yea, I put butter on my pop tarts after they get out of the toaster. Delicious! Something a friend got me into because his mother used to do it. So its not uncommon.

I just went rollerblading for the first time this year and my feet ached so bad I had to stop. I rollerbladed last year and was fine. My rollerblades are the same as last year, and I'm the same size as last year. Does anyone know why my poor feet ache so much? Thanks. (link)
|
Dear rollerblading,
Morethan likely your blades need a knew lining, might even need a new boot. So you should go do a measurement. Also you might have them to TIGHT. And if you haven't skated in a while its going to take a few takes to get used to them again.
Hope this helpes,

My 17 year old daughter quit school, does not have a job--and does NOTHING around the house. She
does have money in savings which she has been blowing like crazy, but that's almost gone now. She lied to me about last night, said she stayed at a friends to babysit younger siblings, and I found out differently. The friends Mom doesn't even care that our daughters weren't there, so she is not much help. I don't know where my daughter is right now. When she comes home, I am going to tell her she cannot stay anywhere from now on. (she did this one other time and was grounded) I am prepared for a big fight from her, and she will probably leave without my permission. I am going to tell her that I will report her as a runaway.
However, then I have no clue what will happen next (if I get the law involved)
She might turn the story on me and say she is abused. (Which of course she is not) but she plays the role of the victim well, and threatened to call CPS another time when I put my foot down.
Her BF is 19 and lives in a bordering state, but is it against the law if he takes her across state lines? She is (17) and other people seem to think that would not be against the law because she is over 16.
So my questions are.
Is a relationship between a 17 yr old and 19 yr old legal?
What happens when a 17 yr old is reported as a run away?
Does CPS automatically believe a teenager who plays the victim?
(link)
|
Dear Help,
Well this is how it works (depending on where you live). A relationship between a 17 yr old and a 19 yr old isn't illegal, only sexual activities, and that isn't easy to prove if this is the case. When a 17 year old is reported missing a series of things are taken into consideration, who might have taken her, why she left and various other situations. Now if she is found after running away she might get a restriction put on her. But if you want to keep closer tabs on your child I believe you can set up a program for "troubled teens". My parents put me in one and I had that nice little anklet(they thought I was sneeking out to do bad things and they later found out I was trying to make a film with some friends). CPS, please, in order for them to believe that you are a bad person. You have some documentation that you are worried, such as this site with your question, the mother you called because you were worried and your colleagues. You might want to call CPS yourself and talk with a rep and explain that you have a "out of control" child and you are worried. Right now you need to concentrate on collecting documentation about your situation in case your daughter tries something.
Before you get in an arguement ask her where she was, and if you want to, only if you want to check her story. If she was at a friends house, tell her to call the house to check. If she was at the movies or somewhere check the reciepts. And with CPS there is no such things as playing a victim, its about the facts that they can prove.
Hope this helps, e-mail here if you need anything else.

First question is: Aren't oppinions the same as advice? Is an opinion just an indirect way of giving advice?
Second question:
I am considering a career in law as a defense attorney. My Xgirlfriend (XGF) said that defense attorneys cannot ethically do their job in the event that their client is in fact guilty if they know that their client is guilty.
She then said that it is incorrect for me, as a personal trainer, to give unsolicited advice to someone who is performing an exercise improperly(assuming that I know the correct exercise).
My XGF says that advice should only be given when asked for.
But she seems to think that a proactive approach is the only ethical solution to an obvious injustice.
My XGF thinks that the attorney example is somehow different from the exercise example. Is she right?
I feel like she has to be wrong since it is not possible to be proactive and wait for a solicitation for advice.
(link)
|
Dear advice,
Letrs a start at one shall we. Guilty is a matter of factand opinion, if someone kills some one just to kill them and they are found not guilty, than yes they are guilty for they committed the crime, as a defense attorney weather of not they are guilty isn't the point, the point is that they need representation to help protect them. So you knowing your client is guilty has nothin to do if others will think the same way, and not everyone will. So being guily is based on true facts (if you find them or not, it you don't find real facts then its up to you to decide what you think).
Now for the second question. Well if you know the correct way to do an exercise than you as a personal trainer know the outcome of doing it the wrong way (pains and no improvement, and whatever else happens). So giving advice is not wrong to give because a person would be more thankful in the end, have you ever told someone they were doing an exercise wrong, and when they got mad went back to the old way after you showed them a right way, I would think very unlikly, they are just mad because they have been doing it wrong.
Third. Well depends on the point you are making. But to me you are trying to help someone either way, with being a defense lawyer your job is to help prove they aren't guilty, and for exercise you are trying to help someone reach their goals. Each of the two require loads of advice.
I believe advice should be given to people if they are being set up for a big failure or you yourself know the feeling of an outcome they are about to do. But its not the advice you should be worried about giving it should be the situation and the manner in which you give it.
Hope this helps,

Alright, so I'm 16 and am still a virgin. But when my girlfriend and I engange in sexual activities, I can never have an orgasm. Hand jobs, or Blow Jobs. It just dosen't get me over the edge. Sure I can masturbate and it works fine. I don't know, I've tryed to calm down and not worry about someone walking in or something. And also, it seems like she's down there FOREVER. I really need to know the actual time. Any help? Or has this happened to anyone else? (link)
|
Dear no Orgasm,
There is nothing wrong with you, some people can only get off from sex it self or by doing it yourself. Some women are the exact same way. There are also other things to take into consideration, such as does it feel good or should it be better. The situation itself (I have a friend that cannot "go" unless he is in a situation that can get him caught". You need to find out what makes you comfortable. And don't listen to the person above me for they are just giving advice to say that they did. Take your time and don't be afraid to give her direction and try new things. Sex and feeling is different for everyone.

I'm friends with benefits with this guy. I used to have a crush on him.
We agreed to just be friends with benefits.
We don't hang out alot and fullfill the friends with benefits but lately he's been calling alot just to talk and stuff. He comes over every now and again and we just talk.
He has never called me for a booty call. But lately there has been alot of chemistry going on between us, alot of flirting and such.
We aren't really friends (as in normal friends you know) so it confuses me as to why he calls so much to just talk. I know what friends with benefits is, and that's not what we are. I'm not sure what to do? He sends mixed signles. What is going on with us? If we are just friends with benefits why does he call so much, I thought you just called for a booty call when you are fwb? (link)
|
Dear FWB,
I understand the mixed feelings in that situation. I was once and still every now and again feel the confusion, since I was a frosh in high school a girl(we grew up together) and I decided that we would just be friends with benefits(im a junior is college) and we still have that relationship(we had rules). But the funny thing is is that shes like my best friend and we talk all the time. Friends with benefits is just another way of having a relationship with someone without having all the relationship requirements (PDA or boyfriend girlfriend title). He might actually want to get closer to you. Playing the friends with benefits role and even fulfilling it is actually very hard, because most of the time there is always some kind of feeling on both sides. My advice to you is to find out what exactly he is looking for from you, and if you decide to continue this role make rules, trust me they will save you from a world of hurt in the future.
Hope this helps

My friends really think I've got mental problems! Not seriously, but it's getting out of hand. I have always been like a kid--- i still love cartoons, video games and i still talk like a kid when im not nervous; like if around my friends, Im completely myself. And thats always been a problem because whem Im myself, Im crazy and hyper. So lately, my friends and people i hardly know from my school are saying that I have a mental problem. I know it sounds dumb, but I hate it!
I told my friend that there is nothing wrong, and they all say they are just joking around when they say i have ADD or OCD, but the other people at my school dont know this. Sure, school is almost over, but I really dont want to continue with this stupid rumor! And I can't even set the record straight that I have no problem, because the rumor is based on how I act, which is kidishly. I really cant sit still or I play with things and I make up wacko words.
Is there a way to show, well sure, im not normal, but just not crazy? Thanks.

|
Dear Im mental,
Have you thought that you might be ADD or ADHD? I am I used to act the same way to a particular medium. Another way to view things of this particular situation is to relate them to other people. Like college students for example or even high schoolers, do you know how many people in college watch cartoons on a daily basis, I know college seniors that make their class schedule around their favorite tv shows. Plus, its mostly the students that have the problem with you being yourself, trust me things such as this blow over with time. You just need to just blow off people and what they are saying about you, or else you are going to find yourself even more unhaappy and you are going to give others more of a reason to tease to.

ok so im in the process of writting a couple of songs, and when im done im gonna want to put them up on a music myspace. im not a particulatly good singer and dont plan on starting an actual band, but i want to claim the songs as my own. i was wondering what i would have to go through to get a simple copyright so noone could steal my lyrics. (link)
|
Dear cpyright,
First you need to send your copies of your lyrics to the govenments copyright patent office. You are looking to spend 30-60 dollars per copyright ($30 I think). This can take up to 6 months. if you want to post your songs you want to go to the post office and send your self the lyrics on the mail. Keep the reciept and have them stamp the postings with the date. When you get them back in the mail never open them and staple the reciept to the mail.
What does this do you ask? Well keeping the reciept and the un opened mail, if you see someone uses your song and you want to sue, they will need a copyright before they can make profit and when you show a copyright and your reciept at an earlier date than the artist. You get all the money and rights they made using your song. If you have any other questions about this, e-mail me for I know all about this issue.

Dear Modeling,
I do work in the entertainment industry here in Arizona. Now where you live is a part of what agency you will be able to work with. Plus your talent and looks with play the biggest factor in getting in with an agency and getting a manager. Ford models is international and one of the biggest companies for models and acting.(who ever said barbizon, needs to know that thats a training school for models and they help you find work after training and if they take you up as a model). So my e-mail is tightwireprod@aol.com. So e-mail me and I can help you further.

How do you get music from limewore to go straight to your itunes without manually having to do it?
thank you. (link)

Actually when you download the music go to that file and click open in itunes. After a few times your itunes should get a button that says limewire and it will begin to recognize the file pattern.

what is spermicide that is already on condoms
I read a question like that but i dont think i quite understand it. (link)
|
The spermicide that is already in a condom is a kind of substance (lotion or gel) that sits in the hat(tip) of the condom that catches the sperm that is released during sex. A low vaiable of condom birthcontrol, it just catches the sperm.

...even if we give good advice people rate low if it's something they don't want to hear? Too bad we can't add a comment to their rating. (link)
|
Its not about adding a comment to their rating, it would be nice to start an offical sign up where we can report mistreatment of advice givers and leave it up to the men above to block accounts as such as remove the rating. My opinions or course.

can anyone tell me what to pursue career in game designing & development. (link)
|
Dear Game Design,
Before you decide what school you need to ask yourself are you looking to go into game design programming or game design art and or both. Now its time to get real, no matter where you go you are going to spend 35,000-60,000 on a degree for a non traditional college education but fora traditional college education in that field, im not going to lie it will take twice as long and the education isn't quite as good.
Collins College- Tempe/Phoenix Arizona
Full Sail- Florida
DeVry University (newish but good I heard)
Brooks College- California (owned by collins)
there are pleny more but these are considered some of the best especailly the first two.

hi, I know that this a really weird question (hence the catagory), but its been bothering me for a while. When they give the oscar for best picture who gets to keep the actual oscar? the producers? the director? who? Thanks. I'll rate 5 for the answer. (link)
|
Dear Oscars,
Best picture goes to one person the most important person, the Producer. That category and award is saved for the person who put the motion picture together. They get this because if it wasn't from them taking a chance on a screenplay it would have never been made.

Ok, I have an Ipod shuffle, and it's like, really screwed up. It doesn't play in the left side in 3 different pairs of headphones and in my speakers, it keeps freezing and turning off by itself, without the battery dying, and just doing weird stuff like that. I've heard you can ship it back and they'll fix it for you. Does anyone know how I can do this? I tried the Ipod website, but couldn't find that or anything else to fix it. Thanks so much! (link)
|
Dear ipod,
There are various ways to do this. One you can find an apple store in your area and take it there and they might be able to cater to your needs. Two, when you purchase an ipod you can call customer support three times for free for instructions and tech support. Three, you may contact apple to send it back but don't just send it back with a letter make sure you call them.

I am glad these kids have a place to go where they may get some logical advice about sex (and some bad advice too which is sad)
I am just wondering how many of you "adults" think that too many are having sex too early? To me, they know very little about the consequences--most questions are asked after the fact. Perhaps this shows that sex education is not done early enough and it is not effective enough. What do you think? (link)
|
Dear Early,
I thank you for thank us and I do agree we have some horrible advice givers here on the site telling teens the glory part of having sex as if it is a momentary fling and will make you more mature. I also agree that no teen fully understands the consequences of such actions, but as a teenager a few years ago engaging in such activites I didn't view the consequences for I rarely saw the consequences, I never had a friend have an unwanted pregnancy or std. And it is the same today youy always get the preaching but never the action and when you see the action of the consequence its almost one out of a few hundred that you hear of. Its also why I am shooting a documentary about the situation, its deals with female sexuality (girls gone wild phenomenon, in how sex has grown from 10 years ago till today and the influences in which have changed that out look). And like I said its how it is portrayed to teens, if you as a teen never see a consequence than you will never see it as something you shouldn't do no matter how much awareness there is.

So, my partner's parents/family have 'seen the bruises' and now think I'm some vest-wearing wifebeater and have 'warned me'.
How on earth do I tactfully explain what's really going on before I get the rozzers called on me?
I don't think they'll appreciate the honest truth about what their 'little princess' likes in bed somehow...
>.<
Awful and delicate situation, help! (link)
|
Dear Clash,
I know what you mean, this happened to me when my gf and I moved in together years ago. They saw a bruise on her side when she was wearing a tank top and her father confronted me like your situation. If you live together invite them over (this is what I did) and I had a paddle and whip placed in two visible places so that her parents would see them and when we were close enough I gently said sometimes you gotta spice it up. After that they got what the bruises were from. You could try that or if you aren't separate talk to your girl and let her know her parents curiosity and when we talked with them we let them know there is no abuse but tactfull experimentation.

can anybody please give me excellent advice/tips on how i can quit smoking for once and for all. No patches or nic gum. I've smoked for 5 yrs out of sheer stupidity. I am tire of it. Please help. I rate you 5s (link)
|
Dear smoking,
The only and true key to quitting smoking is the long hard approach but it worked for me and for many. Its like losing weight, if you want to lose it its best to pace yourself and set goals. I used to be a pack a day smoker so I started to smoke 3/4 the pack of cigs a day and I did that till my body was used to it. Then over time I cut it down to less than a half and a few months later I was to smoking a pack a month. And now I don't smoke at all. So pace yourself and stick to the goal and im serious.

Dear shins,
You have shin splints, hurt like hell when you run in that condition. Advil works great and ice them over night, and in the morning before you run put light pressure on your shins.
