All my best friend talks about is her computer! Me & my other friends will talk about what we did over the weekend, and "Ellie" will just talk about gigabites, megabites, and that sort of stuff. We don't understand that sorta stuff at all! How can we get her to talk about normal people stuff, like guys, parties, or even her pets?! (link)

You should NEVER try to change a person, she is happy and let her be. Dont try to change her interests or make her stop talking about computers because you'll probably lose her friendship.
Have you ever thought that your approved(shallow)"normal people" topics are sinfully boring to people other than you? Guys and parties dont make the world go round. You should be happy for your friend not annoyed at her.

There is of course no definetive list of what boys like and do not like (pretty much what Mfs said).
Now "Boys" want hot bimbo's etc. And they're almsot usually complete dicks. Do you really want to attract a "boy" who will just treat you like dirt and burp and fart alot? Thought not. So dont sell yourself short so you can attract one of these losers.
Now what you want to attract are guys who'll soon become men. And yes they do exist. And they will like you for whats inside not outside, just wait until you meet a great guy like this. Life does go on without a boyfriend.
