What is up w/ me?
I'm 14 and a chick.
My friends expect me to be some hard core rock metal fan because I have blue hair and combat boots. Truth is, I'm a die hard Simon & Garfunkel fan, lol. I like old people music. Is this normal?

It's normal for you and that is all that matter's. Tell your friends that you march to the beat of your own drum and that they are more than welcome to join you. They may think it's a little weird at first but will admire you for being your own person.

yeah your comletely normal. everybody dresses diferently and the way you dress doesnt have to be based on the style of music your into. dress how you wanna dress and listen to whatever music makes you happy. and tell your friends to shut up and worry about themselves. :)

i know how you feel. 18 here, i listen to indie bands and look like i walked out of the 40's. because i am modest in clothing (it's a personal thing, due to some sexual interests of mine) most people seem to think that i'm a mormon.
