A lot of your friends were probably thinking the same thing you are. They probably thought that they were weird, so they decided to have sex. Don't let them pressure you into doing it because you have an advantage that they do not have anymore. I lost mine when I was 16 and I am now 20, almost 21 and still regret it to this day. I lost it to my boyfriend, but I still regret it because I didn't do it because I wanted to. I did it because my older sister and friends were doing it and my boyfriend, who was 19 at the time wanted to do it. I have now been with a different guy for 3 years and I love him more than anything and wish I would have waited to lose it with him. So just ignore your friends are do what your heart feels. At least wait until you are 18 and if you do have sex, please use condoms and take birth control. Hope this helps.

nope. def not a freak. and i say what the other people said put together. but i also want to say that i'm almost 18 and have never had sex. and i'm honestly very proud of myself. it's the one promise i've made and it doesnt have anything to do with anyone else. i find it personal and it makes me who i am. i try to set myself apart from other people and i dont like caring about other people's opinions on situations that they arent included in. but i highly encourage you to wait. :) it'll be millions times better i bet when you're with the right person than if your just with some kid.

Having sex is NOT a race, It is NOT about loosing your virginity and it is NOT about being cool or trying to "fit" in. Sex is something that should be shared with someone special, Someone you trust and someone you have been with for a long time. I'm going to have to agree with the person below me WAIT, There should be no rush when it comes to that. It is a personal choice, No you are not a freak in face I give you the thumbs up for still keeping a strong head.

Wait until you are good and ready, Don't just do something because you feel all of your friends are doing it because frankly not only do I think that is a completely stupid reason but it isn't cool either.

Having sex is a personal decision for everyone. Now days, kids are doing it at a younger age. It's ridiculous. Having sex at the age 15 is way too young. I got pregnant when I was 17 and had my baby boy when i was 18. I mean yea, he's my blessing and my life, but if I could change time, I would have waited to have him. You also got to think about, "what if I get pregnant, and the guy leaves me?" You've got to think of all the consequences of having sex before you actually do it. People say they're having sex, but a lot of those young kids aren't actually doing it. They're kind of like you, they think everyone else is doing it, so they just say they're doing it too. But the most important things is, if you don't feel comftorable doing it, then DON'T do it, no matter what ANYONE else tells you. Trust me you need to WAIT, and follow your instincts!

It doesnt matter what other people are doing! just becuase everyone else is having sex doesnt mean that you need to. If you dont want to have sex until your married DONT! that is your choice no any one elses. your 15, you have your whole life to have sex. so dont start now!

Hope i helped (:

I'm 19 and haven't even had my first kiss. It's not as big a deal as everyone's making it. You're not missing out and I pride you on having the will to wait till marriage!

Good for you wanting to wait . Don't worry you are not a freak!! I bet alot of your friends arent doing as much as they say....even so who cares. I think having sex at 15 is wayyyy to young. I wanted to wait for marriage but did it at 18.....but that's a whole other story. Anyway I now understand why waiting until marriage is such a good decision. I advise you to wait as long as possible. Also it may just be the town you live in. I always felt like the odd one out to not wanting to do all this sexual stuff but then I went on this trip where I met kids from all over the country and only 1 was not a virgin . So don't worry I promise you are not alone. Don't let anyone pressure you.

WittyUsernameHere answered Wednesday May 5 2010, 4:06 am:
The normal and most common ages for losing one's virginity range from about 17 to 24. Whether waiting until marriage or just fucking a random guy, anywhere within that age range could be considered "normal" by the virtue of the fact that you're doing what most everyone else is doing.

By contrast, having sex before 17 would be considered abnormal. Last study I read estimated that the percentage of virginal high school graduates is still hovering around 50%.

Sex is a personal choice, like many other things you will encounter in life. People will tell you what's "normal" and "abnormal" about sex, like they will do about many other things in life.

"Normal" and "Abnormal" are usually pointless, arbitrary, and irrelevant, just like many other things in life.

you're actually not alone. i go to a public school and i talk to a bunch of kids there who have purity rings and want to wait until they're much older or married. the thing is, its illegal to have sex unless you're 16. why? i'm not sure. but you should stick to what you believe is right, don't follow your friend's ways if you don't feel right about it.

take care :)
