DID I GET MY PERIOD??
Please!!!!! help. I am a 13 year old girl. I am pretty small (5 ft, 87 pounds). I want to know if I am getting my period period. I have had pubic and armpit hair for like a couple years and I have had discharge for probably a year. OKAY HERE IS THE STORY! On Sunday, I noticed some blood when I was going to the bathroom, I decided I would worry about it if it happened again, then when I went to the bathroom yesterday there was a little bit of blood, and that happened again today. It is not that much blood though so I am not sure if it is my period or not, or is it a sign my period is coming? PLEASE HELP OR IF YOU DO NOT KNOW JUST TELL ME YOUR IDEAS! PLEASE, THANKS! <3 <3

it probably is a sign that you started, it it'll probably get more blood after a few days, because the first time you get your period it's usually irregular anyway. so just remember to carry around pads just incase!

it is possible, but it might not really be started. just have pads and tampons at home just in case, and wear panty-liners.

It's your period. Most girls have a really light period the first time (that means not a lot of blood). It might get heavier within the next few days and it might not. Be prepared for it to though just in case. Good luck! :)

What you have is called spotting. This may be your first period or it may be just a precursor to your period. There's no way to know. Be prepared with pads or tampons and don't wear light-colored pants or skirts until it goes away and stays away for a couple of days.

Yeah, you've got it. Wear a pantiliner & get some midol. When your period starts getting heavier, then use thicker pads. It shouldn't be heavy though.
Also, don't freak out & think you're abnormal when you don't get your period for a few months. Your period will be irregular for the first couple of years, but it'll eventually regulate itself.

most girls first period is little almost spotting blood. atleast mine was. but dont think that this is what your period will always be like. it'll get an actuall flow not just little drops. it can be really heavy or it can be light. hope i helped, let me know if you need anything else message me

dont worry, girl! your period might be beginning to come with small amounts of blood. gradually, every month, the amount of blood will increase (probably over the next year) to regularize.
however if the blood is non-stop for over 2 weeks, like a little everyday, i'd go to the doctor cause although it may be your period, it may not be - it could be an infection or something wrong in your vajj.
if it lasts for like, 5-7 days, and then stops, congrats! you have probably begun the first stages of womanhood.
if you do get your period, youre going to want to use pads to start off because it will be on and off for a few months until it regularizes.
after about a year, you should consider using tampons. the only people that say tampons "hurt" are the girls who are either...
trying it for the first time
doing it wrong
putting it in when they dont have their period fully
or just plain lying cause they haven't done it!
you should never be able to feel a tampon in you - EVER! or you are doing it wrong. tampons do not hurt.
