i havent started my period [EVERRRRRR]
but i was wondering if its still ok to have sex
my friends mom had sex before she got her period and nothing happened to her .
could that have just been her
totallyxrad answered Monday February 26 2007, 5:22 pm: yes, you can have sex.
but since you havnt started yet im guessing your pretty young and will probabally regret it later.
i would suggest that you still use protection. you could get pregnant if that was the month that you were going to start your period, and plus, the guy might have an std and you would get it without a condom.
lalaloser2 answered Sunday February 25 2007, 6:52 pm: well, theoretically, you can have sex at any age. How old are you? if you're like younger than 16, it's probably not the best decision...you may regret it later even if you think you are in love with whoever you're thinking about having sex with. and about your period. chances are, you wont get pregnant. but there's a very small chance that you can. even though you aren't fertile (able to get pregnant) until you start your period, if you are about to have your period like in the next week, you could get pregnant. i wouldn't recommend it, but it's up to you. if you have anymore questions, just ask :-)

karenR answered Sunday February 25 2007, 2:48 pm: Well you can technically have sex anytime. I don't advise you to have sex if you are that young because
should you get pregnant you have a high risk of complications.
Can you get pregnant? Yes you can. You have no idea when your body is getting ready and once you start ovulating you can get pregnant. EVEN if you have yet to start your period. Lets say your period is coming on Friday (which you know nothing about) you have sex on Thursday ...oops! Pregnant.
Melody answered Sunday February 25 2007, 9:39 am: I'm sure you've heard from sex ed. teachers, parents, etc. that when you start your period it means your body is physically ready to start having sex and making babies. But they will usually tell you that you won't be mentally ready for a lot longer.
Do you really want to take the risk of not being physically or mentally ready? If so, then go for it I guess. It's your body and your choice. But I would think long and hard about it if I were you.
orphans answered Sunday February 25 2007, 9:33 am: DAMN NO.
If you didn t have your period yet it means you are 14 years old. And 14 year olds having sex is Gross.
Your friends mom can do as she pleases. She might be a skunc, just cause she did it it doesn t mean it is ok to do. Probably your 23 yeard old weirdo boyfriend told it to you so he can convince you to allow him to pop your cherry.
Do as you please.
Well thanks for harassing me and calling me a bitch and all, you are only making a fool out of yourself and letting people know how immature you are. Are you even aloud to be on this site?
Anyways, you are being totally unfair, you are just mad cause you didn t hear what you wanted to hear wich is "u go gurl, u r ready whenever u feel like it". Well fine, shoot your self up and look where you heading. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
amygwendoline answered Sunday February 25 2007, 9:02 am: Yes you can!
You can not get pregnant whenever you haven't started your period, it's scientifically impossible, haha. =] If you know the guy you're going to have sex with doesn't have an STD or anything you could go without using a condom. But, make sure you know the guy & you TRUST him.
LadyH answered Sunday February 25 2007, 5:21 am: Yes, you can still have sex, but always wear protection. Just because you don't have your period yet, doesn't mean you are guaranteed absolutely no chance of getting pregnant. [ LadyH's advice column | Ask LadyH A Question ]
