kiran answered Friday January 26 2007, 3:48 pm: I would think to do it in person. Because if they really liked you they would be in more pain than it would be in person. It would be on their mind and it would be hard for them to get over. [ kiran's advice column | Ask kiran A Question ]
MizzJ answered Friday January 26 2007, 1:51 pm: I would rather u do it in person You will be able to see how the person will react. If its someone that really likes you it would be hard for that person to ever get over the letter. It is something that they will look back at and it might be painful for them [ MizzJ's advice column | Ask MizzJ A Question ]
LadyH answered Friday January 26 2007, 3:09 am: I'm not sure if "rude" is the right word for it. But it's much more mature to do it in person. [ LadyH's advice column | Ask LadyH A Question ]
Xineph answered Thursday January 25 2007, 8:48 pm: The Short Answer:
Don't do it.
The Longer Answer:
The guy really, really wouldn't appreciate it. It's not exactly rude... But it's not courteous, either. Also, as has been said below me, wouldn't it be easier to just face him? It's a better idea in general to do it in person. [ Xineph's advice column | Ask Xineph A Question ]

pockets answered Thursday January 25 2007, 7:04 pm: It isn't rude. It's more formal than doing it through text messaging, but kind of stupid considering the fact that you could just use the phone and be more personable.
Depressed_Poet answered Thursday January 25 2007, 5:56 pm: Personally, I think you should take the time to see him/her considering he/she is your girlfriend/boyfriend. If you're afraid they'll become violent with you don't be afraid to text-message, email, IM, call, send a letter or whatever your heart desires to break up! But other than that, you probably should be with him the minute it's really over. It's your last minute together as girlfriend&&boyfriend. You should cherish it.
Hope I helped <3
