I would think to do it in person. Because if they really liked you they would be in more pain than it would be in person. It would be on their mind and it would be hard for them to get over. ]
I would rather u do it in person You will be able to see how the person will react. If its someone that really likes you it would be hard for that person to ever get over the letter. It is something that they will look back at and it might be painful for them ]
I'm not sure if "rude" is the right word for it. But it's much more mature to do it in person. ]
The Short Answer:
Don't do it.
The Longer Answer:
The guy really, really wouldn't appreciate it. It's not exactly rude... But it's not courteous, either. Also, as has been said below me, wouldn't it be easier to just face him? It's a better idea in general to do it in person. ]
its not neccesarally rude but is that they way that you would want to be broken up with? its better then the computure but the best way is in person and give the person the respect cause u have been going out with them and even though u might feel really bad its the best way to do it. hope i helped =) ]
It isn't rude. It's more formal than doing it through text messaging, but kind of stupid considering the fact that you could just use the phone and be more personable.
If you've been dating for a long time though...i'd probably go with breaking the news face to face. More mature, yes? ]
I don't know about rude, but it would be saying you can't do it face-to-face. It needs to be done in person, I think it's the best way. ]
Personally, I think you should take the time to see him/her considering he/she is your girlfriend/boyfriend. If you're afraid they'll become violent with you don't be afraid to text-message, email, IM, call, send a letter or whatever your heart desires to break up! But other than that, you probably should be with him the minute it's really over. It's your last minute together as girlfriend&&boyfriend. You should cherish it.
Hope I helped <3
Good luck! ]
It wouldn't be rude, but it would be sort of chicken, don't you think? ]
it wouldn't be rude..it would just be like saying that you don't have the guts to do it in person.
trust me, if your going to break up with a guy or girl, do it in person. ]
