Are piercings in or out right now? If so, what kinds? (Cartlidge, nose, lip, eyebrown, belly button, etc.)

Hey,

I agree with partygurl24, it all depends on your preference.

A lot of people are getting their cartilage, bellybutton, nose, and industrial pierced.

I like bellybutton, and I really want it badly. lol.

[industrial]

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU GET THESE DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL IF YOU ARE THINKING OF GETTING THEM DONE. ALL OF THEM ARE EASILY INFECTED!

....Hope I helped!

lol I don't think piercings will ever go out of style, but that's just my take on it.

Tongue, cartilage, earlobe, lip, eyebrow, and bellybutton are really popular right now. Also, I have been seeing a good number of people with their industiral pierced-[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

and also their labret pierced (below bottom lip)-

Almost everybody that I know has atleast one piercing, so I guess that they're in. I've seen a lot of people with their lips, belly buttons, and a small stud in their noses.

These piercings are in:

- Tragus.
- Monroe.
- Lip.
- Snakebites.
- Spiderweb.

The other piercings are still "in" but not so much. If you don't know what some of the ones I listed are, google them. :]

Piercings don't make you goth.
Haha.

Ears? Cartilage is good! Wear those little hoops in 'em

I've seen nose & lip piercings a lot lately.

duudee_advicer answered Friday January 12 2007, 10:34 pm:
It depends on your style these days.
I'm a bit more conservative when it comes
to this sort, I'm not a big fan of 20
holes in my ears, eyebrows, and lips.
Two in each ear and a belly button is
sufficent for me. I do have alot of friends
that still do the cartilidge piercings,
and thats good too. Just don't over do it.

However, if you want the more hardcore
look, industrial cartilidges and stretchings
can be good if thats what you want. Like I
said, I'm not big into things like that.

Try to do piercings in moderation,
that way its less to take care of, less
to worry about, and if you have a less chance
of regretting it in later years.

So if you go for a nose ring, I'd
stick with one or two ear piercings. If
you do a tounge ring, I'd recommend no
nose ring or lip ring.

Keep it in moderation.
Good Luck <3

Daimeera answered Friday January 12 2007, 10:13 pm:
You're probably not going to like this answer. But it doesn't matter if they're in or out. What matters is if you want one. A piercing requires a lot of care. It's with you for life (in many cases, it can leave scar tissue behind even if you take out the jewelry). It's not something you do on a whim--nothing that alters your body should be done based on fashion, but rather personal desire.

That said, I don't know that piercings ever really go in or out of style. They're very much a personal thing.
