I bring a bag that has paper and markers that are smellable.
They love to play games so ask if they have a fave game they want to play.
Play tag.
Balloon volleyball is a usual favorite. blow up a balloon and have them hit is but it cant touch the ground.
bake cookies at your house and bring the cookies over along with icing and candy.
then ask the kids to decorate them [ pantherchix93's advice column | Ask pantherchix93 A Question ]

yoliv answered Friday August 11 2006, 9:04 pm: hi.
You could always play kids board games (Chutes and latters, life, candy land etc, but let 1 of them win each time, first the boy then the girl or have them be on a team against you) Playdough works well. (make sure to put out foil or something so they dont get it all over the table) You could also try hide-and-go-seek. Its easy for them and little people like it. (i like it time to time:)) A few more ideas would be: movie, play on computer game or even just watch a little t.v. would be fine.
Hope i helped!

babysittergirl123 answered Thursday August 10 2006, 10:56 am: If the room is messy you could play Clean Queen and King. One kid gets to be the King/Queen for the room and the other people are servants. The King/Queen tells the servants what to pick up. Nominate a new Queen/King for each room.
Since the kids are different age groups it most likely would not be best to make them stay together with a game they all could play because they would all have to play a toddler game. For example, put on a movie for the 6 year old boy. Stay near him while the movie is playing but make up a game that you could play with the toddler and the 3 year old.
For dinner pretend you are the waitress and they are the guest. Tell them the special. Write their orders on a notepad. Give them paper and crayons/markers. Tell them they have to pay for the dinner with their artwork. Make sure before you play this game their dinner is already prepared. ductape_n_roses answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 11:24 pm: I babysit for a 2yr old girl and a 4 yr old boy. The boy just usually goes to play with his toys in the play room and the girl follows everything he does.
They will argue alot so make sure the games you play with them will be fair and gives equal attention to both of them
Try playing tag or hide and seek. Play sword fights with the boy and pretend you'll be rescueing the girl (princess)
Playdough usually keeps the kids I babysit for occupied.
lmarielondon answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 8:42 pm: Kids at that age have ALOT of energy, so my advice is that you do d something active/outside. For example: tag, hide and seek, dance to a silly songs, kick the ball, go explore the backyard etc. After you are done with that, do something a bit relaxing. For example: crafts, watch t.v. with a bowl of popcorn, read some books, make a snack together, easy board games, etc. I hope this helps! Good Luck! BlondBritBrit answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 8:03 pm: Play with bubbles is always good until they get into 3rd grade-ish. Pick out one of their favorite movies and that might keep them entertained. You could ask the 6 year old to help you make lunch for them (some kids like to help out).
ASKBRANDY_ADVICE answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 7:53 pm: Hi my name is brandy and if you want you could be creative and do things like let them help you make there snacks (peanut butter and jelly crackers are alway a success)or play peek-a-boo or hide n go seek or tag or board games or let them pretend to be something and you try to figure out what they are its called sharades(hope i spelled that right lol).

Volleyball2150 answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 6:59 pm: Most little kids like playing games such as Hide-and-seek or tag. For a little toddler, maybe peek-a-boo. If the kids are creative, give them some coloring books and crayons. Whever I have little kids at my house, I play games with them, like Red Hands, Or i carry them around on my back or arms. something to make them laugh.
