Everytime a guy gives me a sign that he likes me I start watching him more and more. Then I start freaking out and thinking he likes me when normally they don't. This really funny guy, James, is in three of my classes. I'm almost 100% positive he doesn't have a girlfriend. Anyways, it was either monday or yesterday(I can't remember)and I heard his friend, macey, trying to guess who he likes (well that's what it SOUNDED like)and she said something and I wasn't listening but then james said, "shelby?! she's so mean to me." then he said something like "it isn't her." or "I don't like her." a few minutes later macey was talking to someone and james whispered, "allison" to her. Or it was something that sounds incredibly alike to that. Well, yesterday after class was over and everyone except james, caleb, and me were out of the room already, james walked past me to the door and then caleb noticed I was still sitting there and stopped behind my desk and reached in his pocket for something and james freaked out, ran over there, and yelled, "dude, NO. No! No! NO!!!" And then caleb took his hand back out of my pocket and they both walked out of the room. So does it sound like he likes me(If so, how do I find out for sure)? Be completely honest! Oh and don't say for me to get my friends to ask him or for me to. But, some way that I could do something and then see his reaction to it.

It really does sound like he likes you. Here are some choices to find out:
-Wait, give it time. He will think of a way to tell you. He seemed pretty close that day with the note. My guess for the note is that it was a note explaining that he likes youa nd he wanted Caleb to give it to you...but he got scared. If he really does like you he will tell you in time. My guess is soon he will.
-Go up to him and ask him if he likes you. (The very direct way).
I recommend the first choice, wait. I wouldn't try to dig harder into it to find out if he likes you. I've seen this happen to alot of my friends. Then they turn out looking like a complete spaz to the guy who actually did like her. Then he changed his mind.
