Ok, I'm not that rich. My mom and dad have been working extra jobs just so I can go school shopping in lexington. They said that I will have about $400.00 by the time we go. I was just wondering where abercrombie and hollister are located in lexington. And I was also wondering how many jeans and shirts I can get for this amout of money. Thankyou much in advance.
cecaaa answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 8:28 pm: Well, if you're talking about Lexington, Kentucky then I know that they have both an Abercrombie and a Hollister at the Fayette mall.
But if you are trying to get an entire wardrobe for $400, these might not be the best places to shop. I don't know what size you are, but if you can wear a girls 16 or under definitely shop at abercrombie and not Abercrombie&Fitch. It's almost exactly like Abercrombie&Fitch only they carry smaller sizes and it's MUCH cheaper than the bigger one.
Shirts at Abercrombie & Hollister can range anywhere from about $20 - $60, but a good idea might be to go to their websites: www.abercrombie.com and www.hollisterco.com and pick out what you want beforehand, and then print it off and go buy it in the stores.
Hope that helped! :]
Oh, and by the way, make sure you thank your parents for working extra just to buy you clothes. That's really nice of them and if you show that you appreciate it they will be more willing to do it again in the future. [ cecaaa's advice column | Ask cecaaa A Question ]

Sorry...that's the only mall that I could find with Abercrombie and Hollister. Although, Fayatte Mall is located in Lexington, and it has the stores you are looking for, so you are all set. To find out the amount of clothes that you can get at those stores, you could look at the website, and calculate what you want:
Abercrombie
www.abercrombie.com
or
www.abercrombiekids.com
Hollister
www.hollisterco.com
elipongo answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 4:19 pm: Well, first off, you're going to have to tell us WHICH Lexington you're talking about? There's more than one Lexington in the world, you know (Lexington KY and Lexington MA come immediately to mind).
I just visited the websites of the retailers you mentioned. Those clothes are very expensive! I don't understand the idea of paying a premium to get pre-worn-out jeans. That's something you could do all by yourself with just a little ingenuity.
Shops like the ones you mention are only really selling their name, their clothes aren't any better than those at say Target or K-Mart.
If you are set on worn out stuff, get some second hand stuff. Old clothes are CHEAP on places like Ebay.
Frankly, I think women look much more attractive in properly fitting and maintained clothing- you do want to look good to the guys don't you?
Do you ever see supermodels posing in cruddy clothes (unless they're advertising that specific product)? No, because they wouldn't look nearly as good to the guys.
Spend the money your parent are giving you wisely. If you've ever been loaded down with tons of homework from school and had no time at all to do the things you wanted to do and were stressed out about getting it all done, then you have some small idea of the burden your parents have taken on out of love for you.
Return that love by using the money wisely.
Make a list of the things you NEED for school, then a list of the things you'd LIKE to have.
Go on line to places like Froogle.com and look up the prices.
Make yourself a budget so that you can make the most of your money.
DancinCutie08 answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 4:14 pm: I would say most jeans at abercrombie are $100 and shirts are anywhere from $10-$40 for the most part. Acually if i were you i would go to hollister and get their jeans. they are owned by abercrombie so you will get the same quality but for the most part they are all under $75 (most are about $40 and personally i like their fit better. I want to guess lexington is in KY so here is the location for there
FAYETTE

Lexington, KY 40503
