Cursing.
I cuss a lot, and I want to stop. How can I stop cussing so much?

You can slowly stop this habit by substituting other words like "darn it" for "damn it" or "fudge" for you-know-what and "hey" for "hell", etc. Slowly they will sound ridiculous and you will stop saying them altogether. Or cuss in your head or in a different language so no one will know what you are saying, hopefully.

hang around mormons(i'm not trying to be disrespectful)... if you cuss around them enough they will slap the shiz out of you(or at least the ones i hang around do after you do it enough to get them real offended)... and if you get hit enough maybe you'll stop... you can also use alternate words like freaking, shiz, dang, and stuff like that... and if you do dicide to hang around mormons or any really religeous people... when you say hell and they say something about it say, "hell isn't a cuss word!... it's in the bible!"... they hate that...hehe... i hope i helped

i cuss sometimes to but i dont lke it a way to stop is by putting a rubberbannd around your wrist and everytime you cuss pull it back and let it hit so it can sting a lil. so next time you will know not to cuss or else it will hurt

My wife and I used to be a little more loose-tongued, especially when driving. Then we had a daughter and everything changed!
Now, having a child to fix your swearing problem is certainly a little extreme, but you might consider pretending there's a young child hanging around with you, listening to everything you say. It might help you curb your pottymouth a little.
Also, experiment with alternate phrases, like "Son of a Motherless Goat" (I like that one because it sounds dirty but it's totally clean).

Hey! I too unfortunatley cuss quite a bit. However, I stopped because of 3 main ways. I know this sounds crazy, but if you know any other languages, say them in that language. I know some spanish and german, but a lot of french, so I usually say fowl words in french. People look at me like Im crazy but, its better than them hear me cuss. Also, my friends and I have these little "games" we have to do if we cuss. One of them is that they make the person that cussed do alot of push-ups/pull-ups/sit-ups. Not only do you learn to stop, you get a good work-out! Also, if you cuss when you said you werent going to, your pals get to give you a crazy dare that you have to do. They can get pretty emebarrasing, so you try to stop. You can also do the "if you cuss your friends hit you"... but its not a creative and it can get kinda painful. Hope that i helped!

i have a friend that cusses alot too and i know she really wants to stop also, a good way to do it would be to say them in another language (if you know abother language0 until you stop saying the actual word then you just don't really say the english cuss word as much and will casually grow off the other languages. you can also do what caramella says and have friend puncj=h you really hard.

i just wanna say that you shouldn't try to put in "fudge" instead of fuck. that's just as bad. anyway, think of better words to use... maybe more/better descriptive. i too have a potty mouth and i had to clean it up for some people so i know what it's like. just tell yourself that you look stupid and you won't do it as much. the putting money in a jar thing is good... just dont let it get outta hand. <3

I used to have that problem and I hated it. I got one of my best friends (who is pretty strong) to slap me wicked hard every time I did it. She did and that pretty much got me to stop. Now I just substitue in things like "fudge" for something else that begins with an "f". Also, just really think before you say something.

2. Put money in a jar eveytime you cuss.
3. Make up words that you can say instead on cussing.

The old trick of putting money in a jar doesn't seem to last very long. but you could give it a try.
Make up your own words. It's fun and not everyone will know what they mean!

stop doing it is soemthin hard to do. something you can do is try to get so mad which can be a reason that you curse. think of different ways to say things that you usual say but without the cursing in it. hope this helps.

Tell youre self or a friend everytime you cuss to put a quarter in a jar. Or you can just try really hard not too.
Or everytime you swear, you can always just punish yourself =]
