ShineyStarz answered Monday October 9 2006, 1:15 am: soak a peice of paper towel on put it on your arm.OR wrap bandages around the sun burn (if on arm than that's the best effect since it's easy to wrap around)with sun lotion, sun screen, or a moisturizing lotion that has lots of vitamins and minerals to help your skin quickly speed up the cell renewal process. =) you can do that without bandages if you want but if you got bandages on then it'll keep your arm cold and that way you won't stratch it. PunkieFreak4690 answered Sunday July 9 2006, 8:29 pm: Aloe vera is the stuff that can help. It soothes the skin, and relives the itching. And another tip using it would be to refrigerate it so when you rub it in you'll feel dramatically better. Usually after a few applications you'll see improvement. Moop answered Sunday July 9 2006, 8:18 pm: if your sunburn itches then you actually have sun poisoning. if you've never had it before, go to an immediate care center. you need to get a medicated cream or you will permanently damage your skin and possibly your nerves if the skin is burnt enough. in this case, aloe vera will not work as well as a prescribed cream. aloe vera is for the initial burning sensation.
if you cannot get to a physician you'll need to take an tepid oatmeal bath or soak in calamine lotion. expect to be out for a while. sun poisoning is serious. [ Moop's advice column | Ask Moop A Question ]
xxsima answered Sunday July 9 2006, 7:36 pm: Put aloe vera on the spot where it itches. Get a lotion that has aloe vera in it, such as Aveeno. Or, you can try an itch medicating cream, like Gold Bond. Try not to itch it, it will only make the sunburn hurt even more.
Helpful answered Sunday July 9 2006, 7:27 pm: Use aloe vera. It feels cool and really relieves itching and heat. It's actually a desert plant that was used by natives for that purpose. Hope I helped! [ Helpful's advice column | Ask Helpful A Question ]
MHScutie87 answered Sunday July 9 2006, 7:20 pm: Lotion, lotion, lotion. & aloe vera can help. There's even special lotion for after you have been in the sun for awhile. If the burn is on your back, you could have your mom rub lotion on and it feels really good =].
