My name's Megan :) I'm 16 years old and live in Kansas...not on a farm though. I'm a junior in high school. I'm a varsity cheerleader and have cheered at my school since my freshman year. I did competitive cheer ages 12-15. I'm a freshmen mentor at school as well as in a peer education group for positive body image called REbeL. I'm also involved in National Spanish Honors Society. When I was 10 I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and still take meds to control it. I'm really mature for my age but also love to have fun! Well, I'm getting braces in about a month (the metal) and I'm not sure what color to start with. I'd change the color every 2 weeks when I meet with my dentist, so it doesn't need to be a perfect shade. I don't have the whitest teeth, & I heard that dark colors like black make your teeth look whiter. Other than that I like aqua blue & pale pink. What do you think??

I had braces for over two years. The lighter color bands on the braces get stained easier by food, so it makes your teeth appear yellower. Your teeth don't show much, but the colors definitely do, so pick colors YOU'LL be happy with, not just what will make your teeth look white. Also, I suggest not to get a really dark color when you get a chain (type of color band further into the process) because it makes your braces VERY noticeable then.

I have long (midback), wavy, thick hair. I straighten my hair about 2-3 times a week. My current straightener (http://www.folica.com/Maxiglide_Hair__d1778.html) just isn't working anymore. It leaves my hair straight, yeah, but a less defined straight. I'm looking for a straightener that will leave my hair pin straight and that will show off my angles and layers.
Any straightener ideas?

Sorry for the late reply!; but when you're in love, especially your first love, it's hard to get those feelings to go away after it's over. No matter how long it takes..you'll still have SOME feelings for them. And it also hurts because you could be thinking wow..that could have been me being with her still..and yeah, it hurts. Oh well i went out with this girl for three and a half months well we got into a fight about 3 weeks ago and we broke up but being the kind of guy i am we were still going to be friends...so then 3 days ago we went to a basketball game and we made out for a little bit before i took her home however after i drop her off i find out she is going out with someone else so i feel like an ass for helping her cheat but thats just the start of this then sunday during half time of the superbowl game she calls me and says she is Pregnant(now first all we never had sex) So this leads to my questions 1) Should i tell her boyfriend she cheated with me on him? 2) Was i cheated on cause we just broke up 3 weeks ago today, and finally 3) What should i do to be there for her cause i still have many feelings for her????

This is a really hard situation so I'm sorry your going through this! Really, the cheating isn't your fault, because you didn't know that she was dating someone while you were making out with her. Let her take care of the problem with the cheating and her boyfriend. Don't drag yourself into that. I'm not sure I understand your 2nd question so if you need to explain more, leave one in my inbox. Finally, really just be supportive of her, help her out when she needs it and just act like a true friend. Maybe throughout the pregnancy she'll realize how much you were there for her and how you really do care about her and maybe you two could develop a relationship again. Good luck with this!

You could have hit the part of skin that you have, it's thin, and its what tears when you 'pop your cherry' so you could have it that a little hard. or you could have pressed hard on your clitora which would have been a feeling you wouldn't have been very used to. you didn't do anything wrong. and no, that's not bad, promise.

I am 14, f, and i have been sick for a month. its not actually sick, its like tired and fatigued, and i feel dizzy and my stomach hurts. I have passed out many times. I am achey all over and my shoulder has been cramping. What can i do to make it go away? ive been sleeping all day since i have a really bad headache and its like 4 days in a row i take medicine and it will gone for a while but it wont go away my friend said this is because i drank coffee a lot last week it was hot chocolate+coffee creamer+ little bit of coffee like 2-3 cups a day
and i stopped drinking them since its gone and yeah and at night i get REALLY sweaty and i dont know what this is im sick or what? cause everytime i get up my back of my head hurts does anyone know what this is??

I had these same sympthoms a few weeks ago, and mine turned out to be a sinus infection. You may want to get it checked out, they'll put you on antibiotics and it clears it up.
