I am 14, f, and i have been sick for a month. its not actually sick, its like tired and fatigued, and i feel dizzy and my stomach hurts. I have passed out many times. I am achey all over and my shoulder has been cramping. What can i do to make it go away? My moms been freaking out and wants me to get bloodwork but i dont want to get it, i am afraid of needles...thanks in advance!

but also are you drinking enough water? because this sounds a bit like dehydration to me. start drinking more water and viset the doctor, its the only good advice i can give.
nayR answered Saturday January 26 2008, 6:25 pm: it kind of sounds like Mono, aka the kissing disease. but im no doctor so im not certain. as for being worried about the doctor, they might not give you a shot, and either close your eyes so that you dont see the needle, or think of something else when it happens. im 18 and im scared of needles, the one time i had bloodwork done and the lady said she would count to 7 and then puncture and she got me at 2 because she said i was expecting it later so i wasnt as scared.
woahhbaby answered Saturday January 26 2008, 5:51 pm: This sounds pretty serious! I would definetly go see a doctor. It doesn't mean that they'll use needles. If you just tell the doctor your symptoms and specificially tell him no needles then they cannot use them.
It's just so important to see someone! Passing out has to do with not enough oxygen getting to your brain. I WOULD REALLY CONSIDER GOING!
