i feel like a laughing stock.
today, the kid i like said he was moving. so i started crying like crazy. (he already knows i like him) but he was just kidding. now i made an idiot out of myself and his friends will tell him and they'll laugh at me. he probably did to because he knew that i would cry. what should i do?

I went through a very similar situation three years ago when I was in seventh grade. My best guy friend(who I'd just realised that I was crazy about) was having girl problems. He really liked this girl, but she didn't feel the same way about him. He wrote me a letter saying that he was going to kill himself because of her. I guess that you probably feel the same way that I felt that day. It turns out, the next day though, that he was just kidding. At least that's what he told me. And, I had cried over him. I felt like such and idiot for believing him.
First of all, you need to ask yourself why he would do something like that.
a. he is just a jerk and wanted to make you cry
b. he wanted to know how you felt about him, he wanted to see if you really cared
c. or he likes you and wanted to make sure that you liked him
Since I don't know this guy, I cannot answer that question for you. But, just know that it was a low down thing that he did to you. And I know that you cannot help who you like. But he really sounds like a jerk. Of course, I've managed to forgive the guy that put me in a similar situation, and we are still friends. Maybe you should just talk to this guy and see what his problem is.

instead of me answering your question..answer this one for yourself.. why do you like someone, who likes to make you cry? either he doesnt like you back and you can TRY to play it off by saying you never liked him either, or hes just a freak for liking to make you feel bad, and you need to get out of the situation..pronto. either way the whole situation is sad, hes missing out on the happy fun you and if hes trying to make you cry, maybe hes trying to shake you. like i said, either way i dont think this guy is good for you at all. i hope you find someone who will always make you smile and who will always want to be there to make you happy :) good luck

Why would you like someone that would humiliate you like that? You thought you would never see him again, so obviously you would cry. Who wouldn't? Tell his friends to go suck themselves, because it's none of their business. You didn't make an idiot out of yourself, any girl would have done the same.
Next time you see them, just act cool. Laugh about it & tell them how stupid the whole thing was. Who cares what a few boys think? You don't even know for a fact if this boy did laugh at you. So ask him. If he did, then he obviously isn't worth the time of day. And if he didn't, then what's there to worry about?

Well you should never feel ashamed for caring or having feelings for someone. Honor the best part of who you are...Your Heart! Don't allow yourself to become jaded just because someone may be insensitive. This could have been a way for the boy to find out if you really liked him or not. Sometimes guys do things like this to get attention. If he makes an issue about it, you may look at it this way...if he is still thinking about it, then he may have liked the fact that you cared enough for him but his ego may not allow him to express how he really feels, which is very unfortunate...consider yourself more in touch with your feelings...where you were willing to express yourself the healthy way. If he chooses to make fun of someone who was honest and caring, then he is the fool.

let's see, guys can be a little un-emotional at times, trust me, i've seen it all. but, if you cried, then you showed him that you really care about him, and you don't want to loose him. casually move on. i mean, there's not much to help the problem. the guy you like should understand. just play it cool the next time you see him, and don't think about it in such a bad way.

If you cried when he told you that he was moving it shows that you actually care for him. If his friends tell him, all you have to do is tell him that you cried because you really like him and you don't want him moving away.
