my modeling manager wants me to be in the magazine MAXIM. i am 14, do you think this is weird?
he says its good for exposure since i am just starting.

this is definatly wierd. my dad used to get maxminm and i took a look at it and its more for adults. and since your only 14 i think your manager only suggested this becuase he probably thinks your cute and wants to see you in some skimpy outfits if you do this you might as well be know as a striper

Find yourself an new manager honey. Hell yeah it's good for exposure...he'll expose you. Besides, Maxim id for adults, and therefore all their "models" have to be adult, otherwise it is illegal... i mean, MAXIM caters to men, and has women in skimpy/trashy/barely there outfits.
So reconsider your manager; he doesn't have what best for you in mind.

maxim is a more adult content magazine. so obviously they would want you to be in some slutty outfits. just remember that your teachers, the guys in school, and your family may see this magazine. how will you feel when they see you half naked, if you are. im not saying you should or shouldnt.

No, don't do it. He's trying to exploit you. Say no and if he continues to pressure you get a lawyer as fast as you can. If you have to even stop to think if something is wrong or weird, chances are you shouldn't do it. Don't ever let anyone make you do something you don't want to.

Good exposure is right! Maxim is a men's magazine and most of the models are barely dressed.
Since you are under 18 I don't think it would be appropriate. I'd consider finding a manager who is a little smarter than the one you currently have. :)
