TheOldOne answered Friday February 3 2006, 9:35 pm: Mix equal amounts of hydrogen peroxide and mouthwash in a cup, and rinse your mouth thoroughly with it for a minute before you go to sleep. The mixture will probably foam when you rinse with it, and that's normal. You should be much better by morning.
Hydrogen peroxide is available in any drugstore or supermarket. It's cheap. Make sure that the label says that it's acceptable for oral use.
As for the pain, there are lots of over-the-counter remedies available for mouth sores. You can also take whatever painkiller you usually use. [ TheOldOne's advice column | Ask TheOldOne A Question ]

just_another_pretty_face2 answered Friday February 3 2006, 9:23 pm: usually if you put salt on it, that will hurt like hell, but trust me, it helps. within two days ( not even ) it will be gone. just put salt on it like every 8 hours or so. helps me all the time. :)
