well im 14 ad my mum never lets me go shopping with my friends if i do she has to follow me its really embarasing i nkow shes scared but it gets annoying like when i go to my friends house she has to call me every 20 minyes i hate it or if go to teh movies seh calls me every 5 minutes its so annoying i nkow she cares for me and dosnt want abnythingto happen to me but im a grown up nkow i knowhot to deal with ive tried talking to her just dosnt work i really want to go shopping with my friends without my mum following me and i want to go places without haeving my mum calling me every secondplz help me :(

At 14 you aren't actually a grown up yet, but tell your mom how you feel. Tell her that when you're shopping you'll check in with her, when you're at a friend's house you'll call her to say good-night and you'll call her as soon as the movie ends as you aren't allowed to talk during it. Just make some compromises with her. And as for what your friends think, most kids understand that some parents are overprotective, so don't worry about it.
To start off, I guess I should tell you I'm 15 years old. My mom is VERY religious. She goes to church every chance she gets. She is one of the strongest believers God and the bible that I have ever met. I, on the other hand, am confused about all of this. My beliefs in God, the bible, heaven, hell are slim. I've lost alot of faith. It's my age, I guess.. I'm to the point where I need proof and evidence of everything. I can't believe in something over what a book says. I need evidence from scientists. From what I know, there has been no proff of the Bible Days. So my question is this.. How could I tell my mom that I don't believe and that I don't want to go to church every sunday anymore? I NEED to tell her, this is important. But I KNOW that it would COMPLETELY crush her if she ever knew. How could I break the news to her? PLEASE HELP! I rate 10's just for trying. But please give me good, honest answers.

Many teenagers begin to lose faith, I've seen it happen in myself, my friends and my sister. Just tell her that you have been having doubts about your religion, but also let her know that it is very common, and often their faith returns but you need a break from it for the time being.
I need advice. well, i hate school so much. I alwasy have. The thing is i get straight A's and I am very popular. Yet, I have gross teachers that i feel uncomfortable around and some of them are pervertive. I have no friends in my classes and the only time i do get to see my close friends are at lunch. Anyway, I am so depressed about school so my mom said she'll homeschool me. I was so thrilled by the idea ut i have to take a few things inaccountant. Like I'm not going to be able to see my friends as much, people will wonder why i left because I'm so well known, and if hihgschool we'll be harder for me to adjust to bc/ I'm getting homeschooled for the next 2 1/2 months until school ends. Please tell me what you think. I mean I really want to get homeschooled because I have major depression in my life because of school but also, i don't want to miss out on the school dances and 8th grade. But I'm still questioning is it worth it, I am so confused!
Well... I am somewhat curious about how you're so popular yet you have no friends in your class... but, putting that aside, I think you should stay in school. Talk to a guidance counselor about the teachers and try to get switched out of their classes. And try to talk to the people you don't know. Ask them a question about the homework after school one day, and who knows, maybe you'll hit it off.
Ok, so right now I have a 50% in math. Which is failing. I have to bring it up to a 70% by April 4 and I don't know how. I went three times already to ask my teahcer for help and it doesn't work. I stink at memorizing things. I really don't want a tutor because the one my mom would send me to is my crush's mom! I'm in level one.. taking algebra and it's just so hard. I have A's in all my other classes but this one. My teacher only counts hw and quizzes. What should I do??

Anyways, if you have a block schedule like I do, then do your homework the night it is assigned and go to the teacher with any of the problems you didn't understand. Then, the next night, review what you have learned so far in the chapter. By doing this, you will memorize them over a longer period of time rather than cramming them into your brain and so you will remember them better and longer.

you are probably saving it as a bitmap (.bmp). When saving the file, go down to the section that says "Save as type" and make it a JPEG (.jpg)

I've read that a lot of the time, if one guy likes a certain girl, than many of his guy friends will start to have feelings for her and they have a sort of competition to see who can get her. You were the flavor of the year, most likely, but don't worry, i'm sure you'll get someone new this year.
I'm only sixteen and I have massive, dark bags under my eyes. And even when I get enough sleep, they're still there. Is there anything natural (in exception to things like plastic surgery) I can do to make the circles go away or hide them?

If you visit a drugstore, like CVS, they have under-eye soothers and concealers in the makeup section and they also have special kits just for removing under-eye circles.
i straighten my hair everyday, and i dont use any special conditioners or anything. Is that bad? i use garnier fructis shampoo & conditioner, if that helps. thanks xOx [♥]
That's exactly what I do. Instead of using the regualr conditioner you should get the 3-minute hair mask though.

My daughter is 13. But the clothes she wears are not...happy. She always is sarcastic. She listens to strange, loud music. Is this the fashion these days? Should I let her be?
I'm often sarcastic too, its just a way of expressing yourself, so I wouldn't be worried about that.
And, as for the loud music, that is very normal. Most teenagers blast their music in their room.
so ive taken preg tests from my school twice.. nd they both came out that im NOT pregnant and they are sposed to be really good pregnancy tests.. but im sitll 8 weeks late for my period..

I have a friend that is going out with a guy who is really bad for her. He has hurt her before. He has sprained my wrist purposely and he is a drug dealer. He deals hardcore stuff; cocaine, crystal meth, heroin, etc. She has done coke in the past and she was beginning to develop a dependancy, but my friends and I helped her to kick it. We think that she has started using again and has probably started with other drugs, too. We've tried talking to her, but she won't seem to listen. Is there any way we can get her away from him? Thanks.
If she continues to get worse, I would reccomend sending her to the counselor. If she refuses you need to talk to them for her, because what she's doing is dangerous.

Treat him the way you always have since he hasn't actually come out and told you he likes you, but if he does decide to confess then you should let him know that you want him only as a friend.
I am a 16 year old girl from georgia and I want a job becouse iam sick and tired of having to ask my mom for money all the time,but my mom seems to think that since I have attention deffisence disorder(add)it would be harder for me to get good grades and have a job at the smae time is this true?
One way to find out if you have ADD would be to see a doctor. And if you do than you could get medication and therefore would be able to balance shcool and a job easier.
Alright. So for about three years i had the same best friend. We were really close and nothing ever got in between us. After three years though, i met another girl who kinda took her place. We were best friends for about a year and a half, but then i met ANOTHER girl who also took the place of my other best friend. After a very short time, me and that girl got too much of each other. I really dont know what to do. It's like i can't have a best friend but i always have at least 5 really great ones. Can anyone relate or give advice on how to get used to my best friend's flaws?
Don't worry yourself over it, you'll find someone who, even through the little annoyances, is just so amazing that you can't imagine life without them. I've known my best friend since I was not even a year old, but many of my other close friends have known theirs for only a year or two. You will eventually find someone, its just a matter of time.
ive got a MAJOR sleeping probelm. I JUST CANT GO TO BED BEFORE 9. everybody has been noticng, i'm getting lower scores on tests, i even LOOK more tired, it sucks. and im getting a lot more acone than usual, i hate it, i wish i could learnt o go to beda t the right time. I just can't seem to get myself into bed before 9. i'm always like just 10 more minutes, just 10 more mintues and after that i go do soemthing else for 10 more mintues which stretches out into half an hour. i WANT AND NEED SLEEP< HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! please? Well, I used to have the same problem but it was because I would think of something and I would be worried I would forget to do it the next day, so I now sleep with a pen and a notepad next to my bed so I remember everything.
My sister has a small case of insomnia and she sleeps with a "sound conditioner". Basically, it is just a machine that plays a noise like, the ocean, wind, a train, etc. Without hearing all the noises in the house and having a steady noise, she now sleeps very well.
so, a random question bout sex. i was just wondering, since statistics show that the average teen loses their virginity by the age of 17. well.. is it possible to have sex (when the guy uses a condom) and NOT get pregnant? cuz like, other teens have done it and they havent got pregnant riight? but what im scared of is that my sister had an unplanned pregnancy and she already had a baby. she said she used a condom and i guessed it broke.

It is not very common for a condom to break - they are about 97% effective - but yes, a girl can get pregnant if the guy uses a condom.
Hey I am 16 and me and my bf have been going out for a long time. I am thinking about getting birth control pills but I dont want to tell my mom. Is there some doctor I can talk to with out having to have my mom there.
Next time you go to the doctor, you can tell them that you want to start birth control. If you tell them not to tell your mother they are sworn to secrecy and can't say a word to her.

I would have to say the girl should be more responsible. She does, afterall, have a much better idea of her menstrual cycle. She needs to make sure that she is well protected if she's expecting her period anytime soon while the guy would have no idea.

I've never gotten it, but my cousin has. I'm not sure what the risks are but her typically coarse and curly hair looked amazing for a very long time, so I would definately reccomend it to you!
