I'm only sixteen and I have massive, dark bags under my eyes. And even when I get enough sleep, they're still there. Is there anything natural (in exception to things like plastic surgery) I can do to make the circles go away or hide them?

oodles_of_noodles answered Wednesday March 15 2006, 2:39 am: Can't go wrong with makeup. Just don't put so much on it looks cakey. I swear people will look at you funny more often if you're wearing too much makeup than too little. Please remember that the area under the eyes is naturally slightly darker. So don't use too light of foundation. Dark circles + concealer generally = a "grey" skin tone under the eyes, so don't be afraid to mix a little bit of bronzer or something peachy-pink in. You won't need a lot. And unless you want the "fresh zombie" look, please, please, I don't care what makeup brands say, stay away from that yellow concealer stuff that's supposed to work. It very much does not. Finally, remember to blend the area between the undereye makeup and your normal skin really, really well or you might look like you were in the tanning booth for too long. Trust me on all of this (from experience). luck! [ oodles_of_noodles's advice column | Ask oodles_of_noodles A Question ]

lxlSammlxl answered Tuesday March 14 2006, 9:40 pm: Well, I get that sometimes too. And if you put spoons in the freezer overnight. And then in the mornings put them under your eyes it can get rid of them. Not totally.. but if you do it enough it can. I don't know like what skin type and stuff you have.. so it might not work for you but it can help!! Because it like wakes up your sences and stuff and makes you look more awake. And it'll be a little red at first.. but in like 5-10 minutes it won't be that bad anymore. And then you might want to stay away from eyeliner and not put on too much eye make-up or else it'll draw attention to your eyes. So you might just want to like gloss your lips (if you wear make-up at all which I'm guessing you might because like every girl does) but yeah I hope my advice to you helped =)

gracey001 answered Tuesday March 14 2006, 8:08 pm: If you visit a drugstore, like CVS, they have under-eye soothers and concealers in the makeup section and they also have special kits just for removing under-eye circles. [ gracey001's advice column | Ask gracey001 A Question ]
