Japanese Hair Striaghtning
I'm trying to convince my mom to let me get my hair Japanese hair striaghtened because its very curly and poofy, I want to know if anyone here got it done or if anyone knows what to ask them or what the risks are

Im like the person before me said i've never had it done because my hairs straight already with just alittle curl so i can straighten mine with a straightner. My cousin got hers done though. It look soo good for awhile she got it done about every 2 months. But the bad thing was she got it for about a year and her hair got really stringy and broke easliy. She had a time with it. But she also got it for about 2 years if i was you i would try it and see how it looks and if u like it keep doing it. Everybodys hair is different so it probably wont do yours that way unless you get it done too often. Good Luck!!

I've never gotten it, but my cousin has. I'm not sure what the risks are but her typically coarse and curly hair looked amazing for a very long time, so I would definately reccomend it to you!
