period i heard somewhere that when you have your period you could lose weight..is that true?? cus that'd be pretty awesome haha =)

umm i actually learned about this for this class i had to take..and you do actually lose weight .. it also depends on the person if you get your period at an older age 15---> you loose more weight but if you get it at a young age 14---< you dont.. this is because what happens is you grow and growing causes you to loose weigh, if you are a late blooomer you usually dont hit your grwoth spert for a long time until your period( studies have shown this is true) anyways so if you reach those standards you will loose weight so good luck

Nope, that's not true at all. Usually you gain weight during your period or just feel like it because your stomach can get bloated. You're also a lot hungrier during that time and are gonna eat more. I know.. it sucks. ]
Nah, most girls cant stop eating, craving chocolate, pizza, mcdonalds, what ever food pops in their head, and then being bloated and stuff? def. makes you bigger till its over, and has some wieght ganing effects depending if you had some binging problems. lol. ]

I wish that were true, hun. But sadly, we don't loose weight while on our periods. If any, we gain weight because most girls get bloated. ♥ ]

acually you gain weight. because your body retains more water and you get bloated.. and dont forget all the food you are eating when you get cravings.. the only way i see what you said is that when you work out and excersize it makes your period better which means your losing weight at the same time ]

I have never heard of losing wait during that special time of the month. Some girls get bloated, in which others might mistake for weight gain? Eating chocolate and food that contains salt is a period craving and consuming too much might cause a bit of weight. If it were true that you lost weight during your period, I think more women would welcome that time of the month. Hope I helped.

Yes it is....sorta...you lose water weight (not fat). Before you start your period your body stores a bunch of water. After your period you would have lost 2 to 3 pounds :)

♥ you def gain weight! for one you bloat and 2 your hungry all the time for sweets and i have never heard of someone losing weight on the chocolate diet. lol I wish it were true though. Sorry to burst your bubble!

well, at first you weigh alot but once you have it you lose that weight and maybe more with it but then the weight builds back up again and it does it all over again ]

Thats not true. You are bloated when your on your period and you will actually weigh more than normal. I dont know where that rumor started, but yea that would be nice. lol ]
I've never heard this. Maybe they might think that they'll lose weight if cramps kill their appetite, but if anything you gain weight because you might become bloated, and most women do become bloated.. ]
