confused..labels?
Hello there. Too get straight to the point im very confused about who i am, and who i want too be, all my life ive been into rock and that sorta..thing, well sometimes ill feel like i want to be very girly and i bought a bunch of pink stuff but then i listen to my music and i think what im doing? and i go back..i dont know what to do, is there something wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong at all. You're just having trouble figuring out "who you are." don't worry about labels. they're overrated anyway. if you stick to a label then people will expect you to always go by the rules of that label, and that's no fun. I really like rock music and 'emo' and stuff but i love shopping and i love being "girly". if you're not a little bit girly then that kinda takes the fun out of being a girl. you can be both. do what feels right. don't let your music define you.

Nope i do it too....Im into the rock thing and i dress in my skater shoes and black band shirts n studded belt but every once n a while i want to feel....well pretty lol. I have a few of those nice blouses that grandma approves of. I just mix it in with my style....a nice shirt n over coat with a studded belt n black shoes. Just because u like a certain genre of music doesnt mean you have to dress or act a certain way. Be what ever you feel like being that day. What ever you feel comfortable in.

what you wear and what you listen to is part of your idividuality. be yourself. rock and pink totally go! they are like the 2 best things in the world! lol! you dont have to be girlie all the time... go comfy too! okie dokie!

Be yourself. Dress how you want to when you want to. You can be a girlie girlie one day and dress different the next. It shows all of your different personalities.

I think most teenagers are the same way(I know I am) Its just about finding out who you want to be and what makes you happy. You shouldn't change the way you look because of the music you listen to. Be who you want to be and do what YOU think is cool. I know this is kinda corney and probably ALOT easier said than done. I hope this helps!

No. Your just yourself. If someone judges you because of them, they basically suck and really have weaknesses in themselves to pick on other people when all their really doing is hiding their own insecurities :)

noo there is nothing rong with you. I listen to all rock and i dont really dress that wayy and stuff. Just be and do whatever you want you dont have to follow the crowd.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with you!
I think it's really cool that you can flip between styles and be into everything! This means you're a very flexible person and can probably fit in with alot of different groups of people!
And just because you're into rock doesn't mean you have to be a rocker chick! I personally love all music (seriously - classical, rock, pop, r&b, rap, dance, musical - everything!!) but the music I listen to doesn't define me as a person! Every girl wants to feel girly and stuff - and thats totally awesome! It doesn't mean you have to listen to 'girly music'. Just whatever you do, be true to yourself and when you become comfortable with yourself and who you are (be honest with yourself/love yourself!!) everyone will see that confidence and love you too!
So whatever you decide remember that you don't have to be defined into a certain group by the way you dress - have a bunch of random stuff - and whatever you feel like wearing when you wake up, put it on! There's nothing uncool or wrong about that! Good luck, and again, be true with who you are!

There is nothing wrong with you. Clothes are clothes, they don't make you the person that you are. I love love rock music, but I dress girly. Sometimes I'll just wear a t-shirt & jeans but that's just how I am & that's what makes me .. me. No one deserves to be called a poser because they like a lot of different things. People are immature & get jelous easily & they make stuff up. If you like black jeans with chains and a bright orange cocktail dress that's fine because that's YOUR style & that's who you are. Don't let other people call you names or shes such a poser because you're not.
