Is there anything that promotes you to get out of bed in the morning? I always feel so miserable getting up, and I need something to jumpstart my mornings.
luckybutt32 answered Wednesday December 14 2005, 10:32 pm: blink your eyes really hard and sit up and open the curtains and turn on lights and music. i have a hard time too. if its cold in the house sleep with warm jammies and socks so you wont be terrified of the chill in the morning. also a hot shower helps [ luckybutt32's advice column | Ask luckybutt32 A Question ]
blue_bunny answered Wednesday December 14 2005, 5:22 pm: I've been seeing a lot of "put your alarm clock far away from the bed" I personally don't do that. Since I wake up at about 7-8 AM, I put my clock at 8:30(I can't get ready in less than 30 min. lol). When you think that you're going to be late, you automatically speed up on getting ready. Make sure that you see something that tells you the real time at some point though, because you'll be sitting at your bus stop for an unneeded hour. Hope this helps!
Kellie_x3 answered Tuesday December 13 2005, 8:46 pm: I always put my alarm clock far away from me soo I have to get up and turn it off. and dont put on music you like or an annoying beep cause I know I dont really care about the annyoing beep. After 2 minutes I dont even hear it. I put it on music I hate. For example..I hate the loud metal rock stuff soo when I hear it I think "ewwww!" and then I leave it on until Im all ready for school soo it makes me get ready quicker and get up easier.. hope this helps!! ThugGirl041790 answered Tuesday December 13 2005, 12:02 am: Going to sleep earlier i don`t think is going to help..I heard its natural that a human being does not want to get up early in the morning no matter how early they go to sleep.. especially teenagers..
So i would set the clock earlier so if you lay back down it kinda feels like you slept longer or something..
Eat a good breakfast.. Eggs,Toast,Cereal or what ever.. maybe even a Pop tart..
Umm Listen to music while getting ready and sing.. maybe even dance a little bit..
hco_babe answered Monday December 12 2005, 9:11 pm: listening to your favorite band/singer while getting ready. eating a yummy breakfast. wearing something that makes you feel good.
fabulous11 answered Monday December 12 2005, 9:02 pm: just set your alarm clock and put the clock far away so when it goes off you have to get up to turn it off insted of just hitting snooze. [ fabulous11's advice column | Ask fabulous11 A Question ]

But usually i think of all the fun times i have with my friends & see all my favorite hot guys at school =DDD. Ohhhh maann. Lol . Maybe you should put your alarm into type of music and put the volume really loud lol. I do that..SOMETIMES. It kind of helps. Then i go to the bathroom and wash my face with realllly cold water. It gets me awake. And when i have time, i go to starbucks && get something from there. =DD. I love hot chocolate in the morning! =P..I HATE COFFEE!! =
McGorgouse answered Monday December 12 2005, 8:39 pm: to help me get up on my alarm clock you can chose the alarm so i blast rock music like the loudest it can go. that helps me! umm think about christmas right now. the sooner you wake up the sooner the day will be over! and then its sooner till christmas! or if you also have an alarm clock put it on the other side of your room so you will have to get up to turn it off. once i get up its harder for me to get back to sleep!
i hope i helped!

Jarhead11789 answered Monday December 12 2005, 8:30 pm: For probably 5 years, I've been searching for this answer, because I am the exact way. In the morning, I just feel tired and cold(or really hot) and miserable and I don't feel like doing anything except going back to sleep. Therefore, I'm sorry to inform you that there's really no help for us. When it comes down to it, your body needs a certain amount of sleep, and if it doesn't get that amount, it won't feel good. When you're getting up, the only way you're gonna feel good is if you're getting up for something that you want to do. If it's school or work, chances are, unless you love your workplace, you're not gonna be happy getting up.
If you're interested, I do have a technique that won't let you just hit the snooze and go back to sleep. Don't put your alarm by your bed. Put the alarm across the room, as far as it can be while still able to wake you up. This will make you get up and walk across the room to turn the alarm off, which will help a lot to wake you up. After that, you could always try jumping into a cold shower. Most unpleasant, but very effective. However, this really just comes down to willpower. Unless if you're resulting to drugs, this is really the only kind of thing that will work. [ Jarhead11789's advice column | Ask Jarhead11789 A Question ]
iiloveyou answered Monday December 12 2005, 8:22 pm: haha i usually have that problem too . but i found some solutions . so firstly, i get excited jsut about getting ready for school, not exactly the going to school part . then i take all my blankets off so ill be cold and then i stand up and run to the bathroom and do my routine and whatever so then i blast my favorite music at the time and its usually from a random cd not the radio and i wake up my house with it too ! and then i dance a little bit in the morning while im getting ready with my music on . then im always so ready to start the day .
Vexxia answered Monday December 12 2005, 8:15 pm: I have the same problem.
First, I put my alarm on the other side of the room. I have to get out of bed to turn it off, that way I get tired of getting in and out of bed and finally get up.
I also love coffee, so I got a pot that brews automatically. So, I know that when I get up, there's fresh coffee in the kitchen. You have to prepare it the night before though.
I usually brush my teeth first, it get's rid of all the "sleepy scum".
Then I put on some upbeat music and get into getting dressed, and looking really good for the day. That makes me glad that I got up.
