Hi!! im new to this website and Im 15 years old. I was just wondering if I should shave my vagina or do I leave it like it is. I have never been told yes or no, and I am too embarassed to ask. Thanks...I will rate high.

hey!! yuo can do what eva if you want to shave try it i mean it will grow backbut when i did it was itchey for a few days i just trim i get some siccors and cut a little off so its not that long and in the summer i shave the sides so when you go swiming none sticks out[ so enbarissing] lol go for it!!

Hey, its ur choice whether you want to shave it or not and it doesn't make a lot of difference if you do or don't. However most boys like it shaven and if you are going to have and oral sex its better to shave it too. Also i don't think you can get crabs if you aint got any hair on it. So i recommend shaving but it doesn't make a lot of difference if you don't shave.

k I perfer shave and trim rather then shaveing all off I have tried both

I think shaving it all off makes you look like a little kid again and lets say you have sex guys would look at you like you haven't started pubety
my advice to youi is shave and trim
but try both to see waht you like bett but I want to warn you that shaving it all off leaves a bunch of bumps and it grows back rather fast

It's up to you.
Most girls trim it and some shave but not many leave it natural, but that's really your decision. Not a lot of guys like it hairy but the majority prefer it to be trimmed rather than completely shaved off.
It does grow back it you shave or trim it so I suggest you try it, see how you like it and either carry on shaving or let it grow back, depending on how you feel about it.
If you want to shave, then trim the hair so it's quite short as it makes it easier to shave and apply lots of shaving cream. Take a razor with a fresh blade in it - you are more likely to cut yourself or go wrong with a blunt one - and gently shave in the direction that the hair grows in. Be very careful, it can be painful if you slip and cut yourself. I don't reccomend that you shave against the hair (like you do when shaving your legs) until you're used to shaving.
Bear in mind that it WILL itch the first time you shave but that it will get better as time goes on.
If you don't like it, then that's fine. It's completely up to you what you do with it.

I do and I have since I was 13 its much better...you know for those times your on your period and all those things. Most guys like it saved more than just hairy...dont do it to please a guy thought. It will itch the first few times you do it but then you'll get use to it and realize its alot better without hair

I'm not going to tell you what to do, I don't believe that's my job. Everyone is an individual and are entitled to treat their bodies in whatever manner they wish. If you want to, you can but please don't feel pressured by other people into doing so. If you have/going to have a boyfriend and he didn't like it, then he would have two choices
1 - Live with it (not literally!)
2 - Command you to shave it

You could shave to if want to but it wouldn't matter because it grows back. Shaving is the better thing because its simple as long as you have shaving cream. If you dont use water. Nair doesn't work on your vagina area.( i tried) Trimming just makes it grows back. When you shave you cut it down at the root. Some boys like shved vagina's others could careless

1.) Nair DOES work on the vaginal area
2.) Nair and waxing takes the root and the hair away
3.) No matter what, the hair IS going to grow back.
If you are shaving for the first time, it can feel itchy and irritated. I would use hot wax or strips with wax on them already! DON'T SHAVE!!!!!!!! When the hair grows back, its rough, ingrown and stubbly!!!!!!!!!! You can get razor bumps if you don't shave right. If you wax then you only have to worry about the few minutes of pain when you rip the strips off. Or NAIR IT BUT NAIR REALLY STINKS!!! LOL. TRIMMING IS GOOD TOO

Shaving your vagina is completly up to you. You can if you want to or you can trim. Most girls do shave. If you perfer it clean, then you should. It's up to you though. ;)

it is all up to you. if you ant to you can but i wouldnt advice you to because it will come out priccly and it will feel nasty. timming it is the best thing to do.hope this helps.

You should do whatever your comfortable with. Some people do some people don't. I would wax it or use Nair or something like that if not it`ll get all stubley (sp?). If you shave it it might get itchy. I would say try shaving it.

Some guys perfer hair, and others don't.. it's simply a personal perference. To be honest, I do not know a single guy who PERFERS pubic hair.. but that is not to say they do not exist, as they definitely do!! Truthfully though.. it's YOUR body, therefore YOUR decision. However, if you DO decide you want to shave, I've taken it upon myself to make a list of tips for you:
- NEVER dry shave.
- Find a shaving cream/gel you're happie with.
- If you can't go out and purchase shaving gel, use a bar of soap and lather up REALLY good, but keep it moist and lathered.. don't let it dry out.
- If you CAN purchase shaving gel, I recommend 'Skintimate's Shaving Gel' or 'Barbasol Shaving Cream".
- Use a good razor, and change it often, if not EVERY time.
- Yes, disposable razors are fine.
- After shaving, you could apply lotion or baby oil to help moisturize, and assist in preventing razor burn.
- DO NOT shave daily!! Try every other two days or so.
