Unless you are sexually active there is nothing to worry about.

The first 3-4 years your period WILL NOT come on a regular schedule. It may seem like it does for a while, then one day it won't come when you expect it.

This is not bad, this is not something you should be worrying about. It is completely normal and happens to 99.9% of girls that just start getting their periods.

Even though you've had it for a while, you're still young and you still have fickle hormones. It probably won't come this month (since it's almost two weeks late); but watch out for it next month. It might come at any time, though the most likely time will be next month on the day you usually start.

If you've started exercising heavilly, that could be the cause of your skipping. If you changed your eating habits dramatically, that will also cause you to skip a period. If you're under a lot of stress, that can cause you to skip. There's probably nothing to worry about though.

sometimes if your under stress or you are worried about something this can make your period late, im sure that there is nothing to worry about, but if your period is over 2-3 weeks late i would go and see a doctor just to make sure that everything is definatly ok. if you are still worried about it then talk to your mum, friends or even a teacher or nurse from school. hope i helped ~*~lucee~*~ plz rate me :)

Missing a menstrual period is a lot more common than most people realize. This is often called amenorrhea, which is the technical word for absence of menstrual periods. Missed periods are often caused as a result of undergoing a lot of stress. Stress can upset the normal hormonal balance in your body, causing your period to come late, or skip for one month. Some other characteristic causes of missed periods include undergoing any major changes in your life, such as moving, starting a new job, or changed eating or exercise habits. Loss of significant amount of weight can also cause you to miss a menstrual period. If you find that this condition persists over a few months, you should make an appointment with a doctor.

Good Luck!

Using birth control pills was the only thing that made my period regular. After I started taking it, I could tell at what HOUR I was going to have my period.

Being irregular is a pain, and, if you're not afraid of side effects, you probably should get birth control, even if you're not sexually active.

If you feel the usual symptoms of PMS (cranky mood, cramps, headaches), it should be just around the corner. If not, you might just skip a month, it happens sometimes.

If you changed your eating habits dramatically, or if you're going through a rough time, it's possible that your period becomes irregular. Don't worry about it.

However, if you don't get it for a few months and start feeling very bad, you should probably go to a doctor's.

No it isn't bad. Periods are always irregular and it sucks because we never know when it will come. Dates are just dates, and sometimes its a week or 2 late but it doesn't mean that anything is wrong. You're fine. If you are really worried, talk to your mom and maybe go to the doctor.

its normal your period wont become regular till 18 or 19 i have the same problems and thats what the doctor told me but u should go see a guynocologest or regular doctor to get some birth control cause you are more likely to get pergnant when ur period is not regular and also it could mess up that area if its not regular

your period just might be running late. it happens too me all the time and im a virgin. although when you do get your period it might be a litter thicker than it usually is to make up for the days it missed, if you dont get your period in the next 5 days go to a ganatologist(a girl doctor for down there).
