At school?
Ok so when im going to have my period, im scared that people will know that im changing my pads.. is there anyway on how to silence things up? it gets really embarassing for me cause im a tomboy...

well if you dont tell anyone you r have ur period no1 will kno and unless they r in the bathroom with they wont kno either. also if you r in skool the week it happeneds just keep them in a very secerit place where you kno your pads wont fall out be seen or anything.

Okay. If you use a tampon you wont have to change it as frequently, so people wont really know. & if anyone asks, you have to pee alot, lol. But doll, every girl has their period, its nothing to be ashamed of. Tomboy or not.

You can flush the toilet, so the sound of the flushing will drown out any other sound.

you shouldnt feel emberased bcuz evey grl in dat room have their periods or will get them. but y dont you try to da bathroom during a class or something like that where grls aint in da bathroom. srri i dont know what else to say.

Just go really slow, or unroll the toilet paper as you're doing it, because other noise will distract people. Usually people don't notice though. Hope it all works out.

-u can go to the nurse and use it in her bathroom (if u have that kinda school...where the nurse has a bathroom in her office and she has pads and stuff)
-u can flush right before you open it
-you can start using tampons...i dont know how old you are but i started using them...SOO MUCH EASIER! but faster. better. cant even feel them....trust me, tampons r better
-dont even worry about it...all girls have their period and it might be awkward to let everyone know that you have your period but they wont make fun of you or anything
-you can also bring a girlfriend to the bathroom with you and have her pretend shes washing her hands while your changing your pad...me and my friends do that all the time! because its so silent in the bathroom and its kinda weird haha...so i know what your talking about

there are these ones by kotex.. and they are called "sh" and instead of the plastic wrappers they have like a cloth on .. they are really quiet.

ok if you mean people knowing you have it and your using it then DONT carry a purse, because i know it's sorta hard to carry a purse when your sorta tomboyish haha cuz i tried that before.Just leave the purse in your locker (if you have one) and get it for when you leave for the bathroom.
If you mean when your UNWRAPPING them in the bathroom, what i do is flush then try to unwrap it really fast haha. It works thought because you can't even hear it. Hope this helps! <3

trust me no one will care at all because everyone does it. if it helps go into the bathroom like in the middle of class or something when you no no one will be in the bathroom too. or go into a bathroom where there is music or talk to your friend while your changing it so no one will ever hear you. just remeber dont be embarassed because everyone does it and no one talks about it

you can try this:
maybe have the pad out of the wrapper but still folded up..like carry your pads in your purse or whatever without the wrapper on. this way, nobody will hear you when your in the bathroom. you can flush the toilet and as its flushing, take off the strip where the sticky part of the pad is..this way nobody will hear that eitherr..and your good to go!

1-wrap it while its flushing cause then its barely noticeable
2-theres a new pad out that makes barely any noise
3-it shouldnt matter, because every1 in the girls bathroom has to deal with it at 1 point

Theres a certain pad that you can get and it doesnt make a sound at all but you will have to read the packet or whatever and it should say something about it being silent

A trick I always use if their are other people around when I'm changing my tampon is to flush the toilet then unwrap it while it's flushing. That way the noice of the wrapper will be drowned out by the flush, it works.
